They are signed to contracts so I'd say they do OK. Not as good as TNA/WWE guys but enough for their "stars" like Aries to not have to work other jobs. ROH is also on HDNET now.

TNA could have HHH,Taker and Shane McMahon and they'd probably still get a 1.2 rating. It's about brand awareness. TNA can't compete in the US with a billion dollar, publically traded company that has been around for many years. I still enjoy iMPACT! more though (for the most part) Don't worry about Jeff Hardy. He's selling more than enough merch right now for TNA.

I want to like TNA more but their angle booking and road agent ring work 8 times out of 10 SUCKS!!!!!!


Back when it matter, ECW could have a fucking killer matches with 2 unknowns, no set up, no blood.... no chairs, no tables, no hardcore stuff.... all card long and still put on a great show based on work rate and great road agent booking and hungry workers.

TNA has 2 legends in the ring bleed more in a fucking promo than the WWE does in a year under their new boring PG-13 bullshit.

Cage matches are boring as fucking hell unless they are Indie cage matches anymore. Old WCW, NWA, WWF cage matches were ok-good, but never great.
TNA has had some great cage matches... but CZW, ROH and JAPW blow them away. Why fuck is that???

JAPW hypes a cage match, CZW hypes a cage match and I think... cool.
Should be a brutally hilarious, well worked, fucking bloody Indie effort-fest!!

TNA and WWE hyoe a cage match and I think.... ahhh fuck! Why not another overplayed gimmick angle that isn't fucking BORING as ALL FUCK when they spend 10 mins climbing out or not. Climb over. Open the door. Get a pinfall (in a cage???) Go for the tired slammed door on the head bump. Fucking boring.

At least the Japanese realized that long before stupid American bookers ever have... and added explosive cages, electrified crap, exploding rings... and other caged fun. Also a fun selection of weapons, barbed wire and other insane stips like cactus, snakes, fire, scaffolds over barbed wire....


Modern American Big 2 cage matches (except for a few Hell in the Cell classics) are fucking BORING!
