Of course it's a rhetorical question.

But taken seriously, one respond: "Not very good."

One of the worst Cowboys teams ever, and a mere 8 losses away from being the worst.

The Cowboys are horrible period,I heard now they are finally admitting they are close to getting rid of Wade Phillips.

1 and 7. And they look like they've quit. Will they even win another game this season?

Not saying Wade should still have his job, but the problems in Big D run much deeper than Head Coach. Jerry Jones has had his highest levels of success when he is just an owner.

Are all of you asleep? Where are the folks that were just waiting to post their prepared statement about another Cowboys loss?

I don't know what team was out there wearing the Dallas helmets, but that certainly was not the same team that played for Wade.

Cowboys win on the road, in NY, against a very good team and dominate from beginning to end.

Great- Frankly I'm thrilled, as a Redskins fan, that the Cowboys beat the Giants.

You shouldn't all start sucking each other's dicks in Big D of course - 2-7 is nothing to start rusty tromboning yourselves over.

And I figured the Giants would start losing - they ALWAYS start 5-2.

But hey good for Dallas. Realistically, their season is over. 2-7 with Jon Kitna isn't a good place to be. But it's certainly plausible that they will play hard for Garret and win some more games. Will be interesting to see if Jones goes with him, or goes balls out for Gruden or Cowher like everyone expects him to.

after the first 8 games, i think Cowboy fans like myself have reason to brag a little, boast a little and talk some crap. its not as if Dallas defeated buffalo yesterday. this was the mighty giants. on the road. :D

of course the season is over. unless Dallas runs the table(highly unlikely), the season is all but over.

have to admit-was shocked to see the team play so well yesterday.

that was not the same team that played under Wade. not even close.

if the team plays this well for the remainder of the season, maybe Garrett is the best choice.

does a head coach have to have a big resume, a big name? i don't think so.

if the coach gets his players to play week after week and prepares the team during practice, isn't that a good indication the coach has what it takes?

i'm not giving Garrett the job after 1 week.
let's see how the team does after the season has concluded.

Even as bad as this season has been, it'll be worth to remember just because of Dez Bryant.

Do you kiss your gay lover with that mouth?

I have been here the last 6 games. Take the time to read previous posts about this NFL season. Don't be so fucking lazy. Get off the couch, tell your male lover to stop blowing you for 2 minutes, so you can read some of my other posts.

A team that's capable of that kind of performance waits until now to finally show up? I don't know if that's a reflection of Phillips or not, but that's really sad. I'll tip my hat though. They looked really good against NY.

I think it's got more to do with the NY Giants begining their annual second-half swoon, and the fact that Kitna always has about 2 good games a season. The real Cowboys will be back next week and Jerry Jones will be gassing up his dumptruck filled with cash to Cowher's front yard.

no doubt

when the Giants get real good, they get complacent

Won at Seattle 41-7, and Coughlin goes easy on them in practice that week as a reward. They don't meet at all until Wednesday. They thought Dallas would be easy

This will put NY in a mini-funk, the way last year's loss at NO put them in a major funk

Bitch you need to shut the fuck up. Apart from your limp-wristed rant having less impact then a nerf dart...You're the biggest buttfucking butterfly bitch on sludge. You're an obsessive EZN fan and you have the audacity to insinuate I'm gay? Why are you even in the locker room? You need to stick to stupid shit you're more familiar with like licking the nut crust off that queer band you worship on the gossip.

Making that 59 yard attempt instead of trying for the 1st down was a really stupid call. Guess Garrett doesn't really want the job.

3-8. Cowboys suck. Awesome.
