It's funny how D2W can get little Greg to melt down after a Colts loss..

I wonder if Archie threw an ill-timed pick in a seniors flag football game yesterday as well. Not a good day to be a Manning.Rainbow Bright wrote:lolManning boys

Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
Sports Center went over the playoff seeding today as they always do after week 10.
In the AFC:
1. NY
2. Balt
3. KC
4. Jax
5. NE
6. Pitt
And then they showed teams on the outside looking in and Indy was at the top of the list. It was a thing of beauty. P13 would have been crying in his corn flakes.
*yes it is early and none of those teams are guaranteed to even get in but still it shows how some teams(cough Indy cough) are at a big disadvantage due to head to head record and other tiebreakers.

Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
So should I tune into this exercise in retardation to hear P13 talk shit on the Chargers and explain how him and the rest of the Colts D are going to shut down Rivers?
Gotta say, while I don't think this is an overly strong team by Colts standards, I did have them making the playoffs, as I'm sure most did. However, if they should lose to San Diego while Jax picks up a win, they'll find themselves in a tight race through the final five games.

Rumor also has it that there will be a "roughing the receiver" penalty when any Colts receiver is tackled and has his head hit the turf. The offending player will be ejected and the Colts will get the ball at the opposition's 1 yard line.SkyDog112046 wrote:Considering? I thought that was a rule already? Normally the yellow flag hits the ground before Manning does.Luminiferous wrote:They're also considering the rule that anytime Peyton Manning is sacked for anything over 3+ yard loss there will be an automatic roughing the passer penalty since the opposing team is obviously out to injure him..

Did junior just offer his penis to someone on this board?
His team loses. His QB takes another loss and junior offers his penis as a way to deal with the loss??

Sunday night. San Diego @ Indy. The Chargers are heating up and they always give Indy fits. I think SD wins this one. SD is getting 3 points, meaning Vegas thinks these teams are even on a neutral field. Seeing how I believe that the Chargers will win outright regardless of venue, I am putting in a phone call to a friend of mine and telling him that although betting is illegal if he were to hypothetically take wagers on games that I would be hypothetically willing to put $250 for SD with the points.
Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
Sweet. So we now have it ON THE RECORD that you are betting on the Chargers to win straight up. Now that it's right here in black in white, you won't be able to deny the fact that you LOST money by committing the ultimate sin: betting against Peyton Manning in prime time.SkyDog112046 wrote:Sunday night. P-13, why in the hell would you ever mention anything about betting around here?

What's Manning done this year that Rivers hasn't?
2 less INTs, sure... But 100+less yards and 3 less touchdowns as well.
And Rivers has been working under even harsher circumstances injury/team performance-wise.
And what does it say about a player that PRIME TIME matters?! That's not professional. All 16 games have equal value. Surely you're not saying Manning isn't at his best for EVERY game, especially after losing the first of the season? I appreciate you're trolling, but you're not even good at it.
On the 'Any Given Sunday' basis, nothing much would surprise me from this game, but I won't buy anything from any serious pundit who goes more than 3 points either way based on what we've seen this season. If you are half the student of the game you claim to be, you wouldn't either.

Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
No moron, I am taking San Diego plus the 3 points. If the line is single digits you only do that because you believe that the underdog can win. Only an idiot would place a bet because he thought that a team would only lose by 1-2 points. So I do believe that the Chargers will win. However I like having those extra couple of points for margin because if the game is close Polian's refs will try to give the game to Indy. But the bet is SD +3, not to win outright.poizond13 wrote:Sweet. So we now have it ON THE RECORD that you are betting on the Chargers to win straight up. There's a reason that Manning plays better after 8:00pm. On Sundays and Mondays, P13 works the 11-5 shift at McD's. And since he now has fry duty he gets pretty messy. So he punches out at 5:00, goes home, takes a shower and heads over to Lucas, if he hustles he can make it by about 6:30. Then he gives Peyton a pre-game BJ. Since most guys are pretty relaxed after a BJ, Peyton is now cool as a cucumber as he basks in the afterglow. He is primed for a big night.Luminiferous wrote:Obviously Peyton plays better after 7pm... Ever notice how Peyton is more of a second half QB in 4:15 games? Same theory applies. P13 just hoses himself off by the dumpster and rushes over to service Manning at halftime, and he's ready for a big second half.

Bad special teams and poor coaching. They are -9 in turnovers. Driving 79 yards and fumbling at the 1 yd line looks good on the stat sheet but doesn't translate into W's.johnk5150 wrote:They have the number 1 offense, number 1 defense and they're 5-5.Rainbow Bright wrote:Rivers has turned into the Poor Man's Dan Marino.

Amazing, isn't it? And you have the Pats at 4th worst in defense and they are 8-2. Crazy.SkyDog112046 wrote:Bad special teams and poor coaching. They are -9 in turnovers. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite as ridiculous as the Chargers' special teams through the first half of the season. Awful. Comical. Most of the problems built off the holes that put them in.

Re: The COLTS Road BACK To The Superbowl Starts Sunday!!
The numbers speak for themselves. Peyton Manning is 31-12 in prime time games over his career, and we have won our last 11 prime time regular season games. Peyton Manning is the best quarterback in the league every week, but in prime time, we seem to elevate our game just a little bit. Not that we prepare any different or approach it any differently, but sub-consciously we are just a little more motivated for these "big games" and seem to play our best football during them.

So you are there during the week of preparation and on the field during the game???
