A Chicago legend.
Definitely should have been in the Hall of Fame by now.

Re: RIP Ron Santo
As a lifelong Sox fan I never really grasped just how good Ron Santo was. I figured he was nothing more than a crybaby who couldnt get over the fact that he didnt belong in the hall of fame. After checking out stats and reading about his life all I can say is WOW. His numbers are certainly good enough for the hall and as a person he did alot of good for the community. Its truly a shame that he passed and never got into the hall. He is a true Chicago legend and that is something to be proud of. R.I.P. Ron

Re: RIP Ron Santo
He did want to be a hall-of-famer, but the crybabying really came when the Cubs would inevitably collapse every season. He wanted to see them PLAY in the WS let alone win the damn thing. Fucking five more outs.VincesGarterbelt wrote:As a lifelong Sox fan I never really grasped just how good Ron Santo was.
