This is not an April Fools joke.

F4WOnline.com reports that WWE management held a meeting yesterday in which they discussed eliminating the word "wrestling" from the company's name. In KFC-style, the company wants to move forward and simply be known as "WWE" opposed to "World Wrestling Entertainment." Apparently ESPN was told about this possible change.

As for this Sunday, HBK is totally gonna screw over HHH somehow. I'm guessing that HHH is about to beat Undertaker, HBK doesn't want this, he fucks over HHH, Taker wins.

19-0[/quote]
I'm thinking HBK is gonna try to help HHH but somehow it will backfire on him. The streak stays alive and HHH doesn't have to look weak losing

The WWE 'wrestling' hasn't been actual 'entertainment' for many years, so most 'long time/non-kiddie fans' don't really give fuck 1 what the company is called.

But it will always be worth laughing at Vince for still repeatedly getting smacked across the face daily by the World Wildlife Fund.

I'd love to see a DX reunion, only for it to backfire on them; perhaps Kane would come in and destroy them both.

Regarding the Cody Rhodes/Rey Mysterio feud... what exactly is supposed to be wrong with Cody's face? He's acting like he's been horribly disfigured, but he looks fine through his CLEAR facemask. WTF?

Didn't see the mask until a few weeks ago - I wondered WTF?!

Apparently Rey 619'd him and broke his nose or something, so he walks around with the face guard on. It would have been great if they played it off as if he wasn't actually hurt, but he saw himself as disfigured. Unless that's what they're aiming for...

Smackdown sucks. I like Cody and all, but if he doesn't get the win over Rey there wasn't much of a point to the feud afterall.

Sting tells FT he was approached and offered a match with Undertaker, and a place in the Hall of Fame but he turned it down.

“I wouldn’t say it was utter nonsense, that’s not true!” laughs TNA’s champ. “It’s a dream match that fans would want to see. It was close. I’m glad things turned out the way they did.

“There are so many variables. Let’s just say that I turned it down for the same reasons I always have. Some- thing in me never trusted what would happen up there, based entirely on the track record with other WCW guys and everything that went on after Vince bought WCW.

“I wont be watching but I’ll be asking what happened between Under- taker and Triple H.”
Oh Stinger one day you will look back with a heavy heart and know you effed up.

Well if Vince didn't fuck up so badly in the past with so many great characters and so many great workers he'd have Sting to make more money with.

The WWE could have really capitalized on the WCW and its stars by creating a separate brand (sort of like what they did with ECW, but on a larger scale).

They could have had Raw on Monday, Smackdown on Friday, and a WCW show on Wednesday. Make it feel separate, but keep it under the same company to ensure its strength. This way, they could have brought in more stars right off the bat and allowed drafts between the two companies.

What did we get instead? A bunch of guys that were already with the WWE and numerous mid/low card wrestlers that weren't a huge draw.

Had it been its own show and had Vince put forth the money to ensure he had the talent, it would have been huge and been a great investment - especially if we saw a lot of the "dream feuds" as a result.

I think Sting doesn't want to leave TNA because he's in his retirement years and doesn't want to take a "risk." He'd rather retire in familiarity, I guess. Not the wisest move, unless he's holding out for his final wrestling year and jumping ship. We'll see I guess, but the demand will dwindle each year he doesn't jump at the chance.

Sting vs. Taker would be a great match next year for the Undertaker's twentieth WrestleMania.

A stronger card this go-round, as it should be. Who is playing Suicide these days?

Vince overall wanted to WIN, not to actually provide worthwhile entertainment or make even more money. He himself feels he has/had enough money.

He has a lot of money, but his ego costs him hundreds of millions more...

So, Abdullah the Butcher was inducted into the Hall Of Fame last night. At least one wrestler wasn't happy about it:
