As a Celts fan all i can say we that was the most satisfying game I've watched since 131-92.

Well... we can't win the championship every year.

The 2010-2011 Lakers team has been an enigma all season. The Mavs winning isn't that hard to comprehend since their entire off-season (and in-season) was devoted to assembling players that aggressively exploit the Lakers' weaknesses (small, quick point guard, no-bullshit center, 3-point specialists) and it obviously worked.

Since there will probably be no season in 2011-2012 the Lakers will just sign Chris Paul and Dwight Howard when they are free agents in '12 and hop right back into the mix

NEW YORK, May 8, 2011 -- Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson has been fined $35,000 for public comments about the officiating, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.

Jackson made his comments yesterday during the Lakers' off day media availability.

I'll give the Lakers this, When They go out, they go out big!! A great team but in need of some new faces. I'd send bubba blue and Odom to Orlando for Dwight, I'd at least inquire about it, Hell send gasoft as well, Howards still young, I'd say send all three for Griffin but the clips would laught at that trade...then again they are the clippers.

Anyway my prediction The C's will be joining the lakers on the golf course shortly, trading Perkins away is one of the dumbest moves they've ever made. I hope they prove me wrong but I doubt it.

Kobe needs to just go hibernate somewhere. He's alread played nearly 100 more regular season and 75 more playoff games than Jordan. Go take a nap kid. You've earned it. And he's only 32. You look at a guy like Ray Allen going strong at nearly 36 and you have to think Kobe could knock out another 90 games a year for 4 or 5 more years with today's conditioning programs.
