I just need to stand up and say that the rioters in Vancouver are NOT indicative of all hockey fans. I would say that 99% of us know there will always be a winning team as well as a losing team.

You guys really need to learn how to have a Finals then. When the Bulls won their six titles, the police shut down all interstates into the city to avoid a flood of mouth breathers. Yes, we had the gunfire, fireworks and people driving around honking, but nothing like what happened last night. It's called preventive measures.

I'm not saying ALL the rioters weren't Canucks fans. But don't think for a second there weren't "bandwagon jumpers" there last night. There were people gearing up for the riot...they came to watch the gamed prepared with signs etc. (I just heard this on the noon news)

Just like the G20 riots here in Toronto last year, there were definitely people there to riot...I have no doubt of that. (And you can get a 'bootleg' jersey or t-shirt for next to nothing. Especially during the playoffs off some street vendor.)

The "real" hockey fans were the ones inside the arena, cheering for Boston and reacting appropriately. Not the assholes out in the streets.
