That was fuckin hysterical. Punk screaming "YOU HAVE A VAGINA!" was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, especially with regards to wrestling. God, I wish that was on RAW. LOL

Miz continues a jobbing streak and Cena continues to kiss everyone's ass.

What a great Raw this week...

I can only hope two things happen:

1. Del Rio does NOT win the MITB match for Raw.
2. Rhodes wins the MITB match for Smackdown.

Also - I'm hoping this all leads to a Cena heel turn. Wishful thinking, sure, but it'd shake things up on Raw and could put over the next big face. Cena and McMahon could team up to beat up Punk, leading to the fans turning on Cena (even more so) and giving a new face character a shot...

Then again, this is the WWE, and Cena and Orton are both champion right now.

He called the paid sheep homos, not fags...

So fucking lighten up, cunts!

And fuck TMZ...

I wanna see honest breaking news reporting on "Ordinary people in LA attacking TMZ reporters for fun and attention whore air time".

"YOU HAVE A VAGINA!"
That is funny stuff.

But unfortunately all this angle means is....

WWE = presently we only have 1 above-average booked angle.

Before this angle?

WWE = we had 0 above-average booked angles.

This angle is entertaining, but 1 good angle does not make the WWE good.

Can't see past the end of your nose to figure that out H H H?

In all honesty, now would be a GREAT time for Cena to get fired at MITB, Punk to win (and thus have the title vacated) and then give the next top face a shot at becoming champion and building more faces at the top of the card.

Problem is that the WWE have really cornered themselves. They had the chance with Kofi Kingston two years ago and blew it. They had the chance with John Morrison and they blew it. Who could honestly be a believable "top face" now? Alex Riley? Too new. Rey Mysterio? Too old. I think a lot of these issues were greatly impacted by the piss poor draft months ago. I still hold to my belief that there's simply not enough talent for two shows.

Which reminds me that in addition to a belt being destroyed, it's been a long while since we've had obvious suspended/fired person in a mask a la Mr. America, Midnight Rider, Charlie Brown, Giant Machine, Red River Jack, etc.. Could be an obnoxious way to repackage Cena with a fresh gimmick for a while...

And that lasted what, 2 weekends of house shows?

That was also before they invested heavily on being able to merchandise Sin Cara, so I doubt they'd go with another lucha/Latino gimmick.

I've seen footage of it somewhere. Must have been off Youtube on a friends tv.

No... I liked that Chavo Jr character.

And liked Kerwin a lot more than I liked Chavito as a moron with a broomstick horse in WCW.

Damn I miss Eddie.
Almost all of his characters, moves and workrates were always entertaining and so good. Everywhere he ever worked! So many different companies.

...and damn I hate his fucking widow.

The overpaid cow draws nothing but change the channel ASAP heat.

Put the WWE title on her and kick her off a bridge in Ohio.

Kerwin White was golden - Eddie's death put an end to that one. Still think it would have been a great push for Chavo if the gimmick had played out. Might not have been a main event push but a solid midcard status.

Looks like it's a lock that Del Rio takes the MITB and will likely cash it in to set up a match against Cena at SS. If in fact this is the route they take, I'd like to see The Rock cost Cena the match in some fashion. Ricardo Rodriquez will probably interfere in Del Rio's matches to make sure he holds onto the belt for as long as possible afterwards. If I was a booker (not Booker T) I would have set up a feud between Del Rio and Daniel Bryan for the US title or IC title (both men would have to be on the same show, preferably Smackdown). It seems like it would establish Del Rio a bit more.

At least Sheamus is re-entering the main event scene on Smackdown. I'm a fan and I think he's a great wrestler who can actually talk and carry a character well.

Chavo is a great wrestler but seems doomed to mid-card comedy status just like Santino another wrestler who is good at comedy as Chavo was but could also wrestle really well they just won't let you see it.
I personally love Vickie's on air role she pisses everybody off and it's nice of Vince to put her on the payroll after Eddie passed away.
The WWE is trying very hard to pull in more latino's so I doubt they'll go with Juan Cena again.
Now that HHH is more of a executive than a wrestler Sin Cara is his pet project I personally don't care for him it just looks like gymnastics disguised as wrestling to me and the color of the lights when he wrestles piss me off but he's being pushed because HHH can't fail and I'm to old to be buying a fucking wrestling mask if he doesn't learn english and can do promo work like Rey Mysterio it's a waste of time anyway to me.
That being said I do have to give HHH props for Sheamus suposedly HHH liked his look when he 1st came in and they were workout buddies which explains why he was pushed to the top so fast.
But like Cap'n Morgan said he can do it all wrestle and promo's.

I'll stand by my opinion of Sheamus. It was terrible when they jobbed him out for weeks simply because Kevin Dunn didn't like him in any aspect (the King Sheamus gimmick was his idea to make him look like a doofus). I hope he stays in the main event scene - Smackdown (and Raw) need it.

Sin Cara irritates me for a few reasons. One, he's got a huge push and keeps getting one each week (aside from last week when Christian put an end to his streak). Two, he's a botch monster. Three, can they really pull off a main event run with this guy? He can't speak English and therefore relies heavily on the Lucha Libre aspect to add some dynamic to his character. I just don't see it going that far - to me, he's Ultimo Dragon all over again - a great image, a high flyer, but never really spoke and will likely be out of the WWE if they can't progress him.

I get the fact that the WWE is trying to bring in new talent, especially from all over the world. The problem is that in order to succeed (in most cases), they need to be able to cut a promo or have a mouthpiece (manager). Sin Cara would heavily benefit from a manager if he were to climb the card. He'd be perfect for a revamped Cruiserweight division - if they keep bringing in these wrestlers from Mexico, they're going to get lost if there's not a strong lightweight division. Sin Cara, Evan Bourne, Daniel Bryan, etc. It worked well for WCW and TNA, it just needs the right spotlight and attention to grow unlike the previous lightweight divisions.

- WWE sent out an e-mail today promoting Monday's RAW in Boston and are promoting it as CM Punk's final appearance in the city.

- The WWE RAW crew has returned to the United States after wrapping their Australian and New Zealand tour. CM Punk has resumed tweeting now that he's back home. Punk responded to ESPN's Jim Rome offering him some air-time to finish his rant from RAW two weeks ago. Punk wrote:

"Okay, so I missed some stuff. Mike Rome? Let's do this."

Punk later corrected the name, Jim Rome and said "somebody get me on ESPN."

Tonight's the 300th episode of iMPACT...have to admit I've been enjoying these X-Division matches.

OH if that's the case knowing Punk was getting ready to go off on Vince about his anti-bully campaign.
I'd like to see Vince on the show and have him kick Jim Rome's ass have I mentioned I don't think too highly of that douchebag.
Remember a few yrs. ago on HBO when Vince got into it with Bob Costas that was some funny shit I thought Costas was going to shit his pants.
Pardon the pun but their's no chance in hell Vince would take any shit off Jim Rome it would be like Jim Everett from several yrs. ago but even worse.

He's nowhere fucking close. Sin Cara is mostly boring and a screwup

The Ultimate Dragon was fucking amazing.

Well fucking amazing everywhere but the dumbass WWF/WWE.

The guy didn't need to speak in WCW or NJPW or IWGP or anywhere else he worked and he was always OVER and he always had MANY titles (several at once) and the crowds everywhere he worked were pleased....

Vince fucking choked on him... which is really no real surprise from a carny barker booker who never really was a wrestling guy.

I think your assesement of Vince is a little harsh.
Sure he doesn't want to use the words pro wrestling or have his wrestlers known by that name but wrestling is in his genes whether he wants to admit it or not.
When he took over the company from his dad he changed the landscape of pro wrestling.
Yes he dabbles in other stuff XFL,movies, records, etc. but at the end of the day it's wrestling that pays the bills and he knows that whether he'll admit it or not for the media is a different matter.
And to steal a line or two from Mick Foley nobody is as hardcore as Vince McMahon he lets himself the CEO of the company get his ass handed to him from his wrestlers on TV for our enjoyment.
Remember wrestling throughout the years has always been about watching the bad guy who talks the most shit and gets away with alot of stuff finnaly get his in the end and he has always delivered on that front.
Sure he's made mistakes along the way regarding wrestlers but he's batting avg. is still better than any other promoter.

Punk going on Rome will be as worked an interview as the Jim Everett interview was. Vince has turst in Punk and also his ability to convey what sort of promotion WWE wants to run to the national media.

Sure he doesn't want to use the words pro wrestling or have his wrestlers known by that name but wrestling is in his genes whether he wants to admit it or not.

Vince was born with some wrestling genes in him. If Vince Sr was actually his dad... and not some wrestler. But all Vince Jr has ever ever ever done in his life is run from wrestling straight to entertainment with 3 colored ropes.
He has tried his fucking hardest every chance he got to cleanse pro wrestling out of his blood and DNA and he made it from a show into a circus.
WWWF was a show. ECW HardcoreTV was a show. WWF/WWE is a circus.

When he took over the company from his dad he changed the landscape of pro wrestling.

The modern athletes and more intense moves from all over the entire industry are better now than in the WWWF era definitely, but actually most of that I give the most credit to wrestlers/trainers from JAPAN and MEXICO and CANADA and ECW... not the WWE... and arguably it's give or take on the modern workrates (especially the ones the WWF / WWE has been responsible for the past fw decades).... compared to non-WWWF/WWF/WWE/WW? workrates. Other companies have been known to usually have better angles after better angles and better mic work from better workers and better wresting than the WWE anyway. That's WRESTLING. Not the fucking rabble the WWE has shit out since the Attitude Era ended.

The landscape is overgrown, has mostly badly chosen-overpushed elements, is badly need of trimming, and is in desperate need of new gardeners and landscapers...

I'm not arguing the translation of Ultimo... but he has been billed and worked as The Ultimate Dragon and as Ultimo Dragon.

A match that has always looked good on paper... and most times somehow delivered even better all over the arena!

Jack Evans, From the Heavens --and-- LOW KI returns as LOW KI!!
Well TNA -- IT'S ABOUT TIME!

I hope this PPV sells well and hope it has some REALLY GOOD matches, not just badly announced, 3 minute spotfest after spotfest ruined by stupid run-ins and Dusty finishes.

I really like more TNA workers booked for this PPV than I have in a LONG LONG time.
