Next year's number one overall is aruably more valuable than any in recent memory.

Too much semen will do that. Consult Rod Stewart on home remedies.

Listen assfuck, we TOLD you this was going to happen - any half-mongoloid or smarter could see it coming from a mile away - but you kept insisting that they'd just ride Kerry Collins all the way to the November when captain cornstalk would return and save you.

You chose not to listen and kept spouting your retarded fanboy bullshit. And now you are disappointed? I do like that you are going with the "playing our hearts out" angle, as if that counts for anything when your dogshit team is 0-4.

Please go away. The Colts are done. Maybe for good. You better pray they don't manage to win any games, cause their only hope now is winning the Luck sweepstakes.
Oh fuck off. I was gonna go away. That was gonna be my last post for months. But now I'm gonna stick around. I'm gonna post a lot. And I'll do it just to piss off you and your butt buddies. They can all thank you for that.

I didn't give up on the Colts and I won't give up on the Colts because they are my team and I'll stick by them no matter what. Unlike you, I choose to not to give up on my team when the chips are down. You seem like the type to give up easily and hold no optimism, in sports and in life.

I still hold hope, even for this season. It does matter that the team keeps fighting. It underscores what a great franchise the Colts are. It makes me proud to be a Colts fan. Win or lose I'll be cheering for them every game as if it's the Super Bowl. I wouldn't expect you to understand that, as someone who gives up on their team and throws them under the bus if things aren't going right. You're the worst example of a pathetic piece of shit fucking fair weather fan.

Fans questioning their team's front office and coaching decisions are what tends to make owners take a hard look at what their GMs and staff are doing. When you find your team in the gutter and refuse to hold your team's front office and coaching staff to any level of accountability, you aren't being a fan, you're being an idiot. Just sayin'.

I'm a REDSKINS fan dipshit. We haven't won anything in 20 years.

You became a Colts fan when they were 12-0 two years ago

And please, do stick around. We are all enjoying this.

Bill Polian has two claims to fame - putting together the Buffalo Bills and drafting Peyton Manning. He's not gonna want to be the guy who passed on Andrew Luck.

P13 seems to think that anybody who doesn't maintain a constant level of optimism while praising their team's every move is a "fair weather fan". I think he's confusing "fan" with "cheerleader".

Polian makes a lot of very questionable moves, but making a Herschel Walker type trade with the Luck pick may be in that team's best interest. I'd say a lot would depend on Manning's health status at that point. Irsay seems to be enamored with Luck though, so who knows?

So there's a new curse for teams whose stadiums will host a Super Bowl.

I think teams will prefer NFL Madden games covers! :P

You're right. Owners who listen to FANS and PUNDITS, and make rash decisions in response to them, are correct. Look at model franchises like the Redskins and Raiders, who've made a litany of exciting coaching, front office, and other personnel changes over the past ten years. I'm sure the fans were amused every time they made all of those popular changes. And look at all of the wins those franchises have amassed over the past ten years. Truly amazing. On the other hand, look at BORING franchises like the Steelers and Colts. They don't make very many coaching changes at all. Their front offices and coaching staff have been in tact for a very long time. This boring approach is not exciting, does not please fans and CLEARLY does not work, as evidenced by the amount of wins the Colts and Steelers have over the past decade.

Now let me be serious. Our president, Mr. Bill Polian, is a future hall of famer and multiple time executive of the year winner. He built our team that earned more wins than any other franchise from 2000-2010. He's a proven evaluator of talent and architect of dynasties. We've had countless consecutive seasons with over 12 wins. Coach Caldwell has been with the franchise for almost 10 years and lead us to a Super Bowl less than two years ago. Not you're insisting that they're all GARBAGE and should be DUMPED because the team is 0-4. Never mind the fact that our franchise quarterback has been out due to an unpreventable situation. Never mind the fact that we learned THREE WEEKS before the season that the person who's lead this offense and conducted it for 13 years wouldn't be able to play. None of that matters in your eyes, apparently. Maybe we should just dump all of the folks who built this perennial 12 year team in lieu of this situation, since maybe that would be exciting and please some of the fans and pundits.

That's what the Redskins would do. That's not what we will do. We will maintain stability and continuity within the organization and endure this unfortunate situation. No team is guaranteed 12 wins and a post season berth every single year. The streak that we had was amazing. But this is the NFL. It's a league built for parity and a league where it's extremely difficult to make the post season consecutive years. Injuries happen and we were dealt an unavoidable situation which would have been impossible to prevent. We will endure, we will get Peyton back next year, and WE WILL BE BACK.

So let me get this straight. First you were practically begging me to leave. Now you want me to STAY? What kind of pathetic fucking stalker are you? Make up your mind, boy. Not that it matters. I'm staying and will post more than ever in support of the Colts.

And oh yeah, I've been a Colts fan since 1995, well before Peyton Manning, Mr. Polian, Coach Caldwell, or Coach Dungy came to the organization. Hell, that was even before Jim Irsay took over as owner.

Wow. You're even more hopeless than I thought. Your team wasn't going to be all that good even with Manning. They'd be better, of course, but Manning doesn't block and he doesn't play defense. Other than the glory positions, the Colts suck, but hey, I hope Indy is full of cheerleaders like you and that Irsay continues to let that genius GM of yours run the show for another decade. It'll make my team's schedule that much easier every year.

Maybe the Colts should take notes from the Texans. ONE winning season and NO playoff appearances in the history of the franchise.

Don't forget we won 10 games last year and won the division AGAIN, despite having more players on IR than any other team, and more impact players on IR than any other team. And our roster was significantly improved through last year's draft and several free agent signings. With a reasonably healthy roster, we're a 13 win team. Next year we will be. With Peyton we're 3-1 right now, maybe 4-0.

 THe Texans have lost far fewer games and had far fewer losing seasons than the Colts have. You go ahead and keep thinking you'd be so great with your fearless leader though. Hopefully your GM feels the same way ( you know, that genius who managed exactly one ring over the career of one of the best QBs to ever play the game)

Saints 3-1 with our only loss being to the best team in the league. No real challenges coming up. I'm stoked for our first games against the Bucs and Falcons. Gotta lay down the law on the division.

Sorry, I don't see the Saints as serious Super Bowl contenders with that defense.

They gave Green Bay all they could handle. I don't see them beating them out if they meet in the playoffs, but they should run away with that division and make for a tough opponent for whoever comes out of that conference.

I agree, but they're still really raw and undisciplined. THey shoot themselves in the foot way too often. They're going to be very good in another year or so, but right now, NOLA is better.

Excited to hear Peyton is still hopeful to play this season. Sounds like he was in good spirits today and optimistic about his recovery. He's progressed enough to be on the sideline with the team this weekend in what will hopefully be our first win against the Chiefs. Regardless of what our record is, I'd love to see Peyton come back and play in the last game or two. That would be the only bright spot of this entire, miserable year. I don't care if we have zero wins, seeing Peyton take the field and play would be truly amazing.

The top 5 selling NFL jerseys:
1. Rodgers
2. Brady
3. Vick
4. Polamalu
5. Matthews

Two Packers in the top 5 - looks like cheeseheads buy gear. No Manning in the top 5 and he's considered the face of the league. And these stats were compiled before he went down for the season. Maybe it's backlash against all the hype & commercials. Or maybe Manning fans don't buy his jerseys because they don't sell pink frilly #18's?
