Then half the bozos would deserve a beatdown too. That none of the football heirarchy at Penn called in the cops is apalling. If I saw or was told of a rape at my work and just told a manager who did nothing and then let it slide, I'd be considered about as low as a slug by all, as should these people.

I would not have acted like he did, nobody with an ounce of morals would have. He had no compassion or sense of right and wrong. He always was a piece of shit, glad his career ended with everyone knowing it.

I really have no idea. We don't get NFL network and probably never will.
More like San Diego just sucks. I don't have NFL Network either, but the pub down the street does. My best friend is a Chargers fan so I went to said pub and watched the game (I was actually paying much more attention to the Ohio-Central Michigan game). San Diego sucks. The Raiders are no powerhouse by any means.

both teams are terrible. i guess the can could have been described as entertaining, but both teams are nowhere near a TOP TIER caliber team
so far this season.

Basically the entire AFC West sucks. I hope the winner of the division has a 7-9 record just so I can listen to people whine and moan that they have a home play off game. Like the Seahawks last year.

Any chance the AFC West can merge with the NFC West in order to
make the west coast teams appear even worse??

The NFC West was abysmal last year, but Harbaugh has shown that anyteam can go from pretender to contender in the modern NFL. I am not sure how far the 49ers will go in the playoffs though.

Biggest game of the year is Sunday. Saints/Falcons in Atlanta. Either we prove it here or fuck me - season's over. If we can't win on the road against our top division rival, fork 'em.

The Jaguars should be ashamed of themselves running up the score like that on the Colts.

What network coverage is the best? Which one is the worst?

I like the Sunday Night Football coverage the best. Best call of the game, best commentary, good camera angles.

CBS's coverage of the AFC games is pretty good. If one of the better crews calls the game it's almost as good as SNF.

I don't care much for the games on Fox. Some of the camera angles they use makes it hard to see what's going on and they seem to miss stuff from time to time.

MNF on ESPN sucks. The crew is a joke, they miss plays, and they seem to feel like the show is in the booth and not on the field.

Thoughts?

Saints once again skirt by...leaving me still questionable on whether or not they are actually a contender this year.

The Patriots defense looked good tonight. Carter had 4.5 sacks and the no-name guys did a pretty decent job in coverage. Granted it was against Sanchez, but they looked good for the first time all year. Addition by subtraction in getting rid of Haynesworth.

Belichick and Brady won their 117th game together, passing Shula and Marino for the most all time.

I still don't think New England is a Superbowl contender this year because of that defense and the lack of a speed receiver to stretch the better opponents' D's they will face come January, but with an easy schedule down the stretch they should win the division. Probably a 3 seed, maybe a 2 if the AFC North teams continue to beat each other up. Houston is looking like the top seed at this point.

CBS and NBC broadcast in 1080i which makes Fox look like dogshit with their 780p.

But I hate that faggot Dierdorf. I will turn the sound down if he's doing a game I'm watching.

Brady's looked pretty human at times this year. Maybe that's because all he has to throw to is two tight ends and a hobbit, but he's looke incredibly beatable.

It's been a combination of a couple of things. No deep receiver to open up the underneath stuff, teams adjusting to him by going man-to-man so he doesn't have gaps to throw into, and his own defense unable to stop anyone forcing him to have to try to score on every drive. He hasn't been able to get into rhythm, gets frustrated, and then gets reckless. Brady will still make a team pay when they make a mistake and is good at changing up plays to counter coverages but he's not performing the way he did the past few years.

If Ochocinco can figure out the offense and give Brady just a quasi-threat of a halfway deep route now and then it will help the offense. 85 continues to make mistake after mistake, including last night stepping out of bounds when he was wide open with 10 yards of open field ahead of him. But as he showed on his 53 yard play last night he does have another gear the rest of the receivers don't.

There are too many flaws on that team to go anywhere in the post season. A lousy defense and piss-poor special teams will end a season pretty quick come January. I think they are looking at the 3rd seed with maybe one playoff win at home.

Why the hell do teams still kick to Hester? Opposing coaches haven't heard of him or seen any game film on him?

Dallas gets another WIN. I don't care who the opposing team is, a win is all that matters. I know the Bills were "hot" earlier this year and not playing so well of late, but Dallas still won the game and convincingly.

Romo played his 1st game 100% healthy since the rib injury.
Murray at RB looks like a beast(again). I just don't know if Felix Jones can regain his starting spot when his high ankle sprain heals up.

How about them Cowboys!!

 Nobody has said that since 1994. I'm having a tough time drinking the kool aid, but they are really playing well right now. The AFC is really sketchy this year. Who can figure out Baltimore? Which Pats team is gonna show up? The Jets and Pitt are both inconsistent as hell. Cinci still looks good despite their loss yesterday. The Titans are still hanging around and Indy is 0-10. Weird year.
