I hope the Bears plant him in two weeks. He'll probably have a career day.

Who cares if the guy is "hot" for a few weeks.
Let me know when he has made a solid career as a winning QB.

Can he sustain the success he is currently enjoying?
Will he be able to adjust his play when defenses finally adjust their scheme?

I had some Tebow fan-boi at the bar I was at saying if they missed the FG on 2nd down it was ok because they would have 3 shots at it.

THAT is adding to my Tebow hate: Groupies who know fuck-all.

Not sure what that has to do with Tebow.

That his "fans" aren't fans at all.

Like how Red Sox fans make me hate the Red Sox more than the Red Sox do.

The celebrity worship that goes with Tebow is weird. I can't think of any parallells in NFL history except maybe the "Broadway Joe" thing. I wasn't around to witness that, so I don't know if it really compares. It's the Jersey Shore / TMZ effect. If Tebow's agent is smart, he's setting up a reality series right now, because a year or so from now he'll be about as relevent celebrity wise as Octomom. That team's run has been pretty damn impresive though.

Well, when you live in Florida, his fans are his fans. They're annoying too though.

The talking heads who built him up so they could tear him down are more annoying than anybody.

Five weeks to go. Based on where teams are now, how they are playing, and injuries to key players, what do you think the playoff seeding will be?

I say:
AFC
1. Baltimore
2. New England
3. Houston
4. Oakland
5. Pittsburgh
6. Cincinnati

NFC
1. Green Bay
2. San Francisco
3. New Orleans
4. Dallas
5. Atlanta
6. Chicago

QB injuries will drop Houston and Chicago a seed or two
Detroit is going to feel Suh's loss physically & mentally
GB and San Fran are on cruise control for their spots. Should be NFC title game.
Pittsburgh will have a better record than the 3 & 4 seeds but only get the WC due to the Ravens.
That Balt defense has SB appearance written all over it.

I will agree with that. But a half dozen starts does not make a career. Tebow's shortcomings will eventually be exposed.

Exactly. The guy has so many flaws, even a high school coach can spot
those for himself.
Soon the league will catch up to Tebow and his flaws won't be able
to overcome the flaws.
I suspect he will have a 10 year career as a #2 QB.

I don't really care if Tebow succeeds or not but there is no way he will survive in the NFL with a completion % of 45.

I don't see it. Not unless he learns how to throw. He's winning because Denver is running a read option (and the D is playing out of their minds). He's either "the man" in an option offense, or he's out of the league (or at least the QB position) pretty quickly.

I think that's pretty accurate. I don't know what to expect with Houston though. Nobody has a clue how their third string QB is going to play, but their defense is bad ass. They could keep rolling enough to get in and (probably) get bounced, or they could pull a San Diego and give the division up to Tenn. I think this last injury may be one too many, but, we'll see.

KC
@PHI
NYG
@MIA

Not impossible.

They could win out and get into the playoffs, but at best they get the 6th seed. Their next 3 games look like gimmes, but those last 2 aren't. They aren't going to win their division, 2 games back with 5 games left and losing on the head-to-head tie breaker to NE . They won't catch whoever loses the divisional battle between Balt & Pitt. And right now Cincy owns the tiebreakers with the Jets. It wouldn't be a complete shock for them to get in, but they don't have much margin for error.

I think San Fran is gonna drop some more and NOLA will move up to #2. 8)

By a miracle I'm still hanging on to my dream Saints / Pats super bowl.

Very possible Dallas could overtake 49ers because Dallas won the head
to head match-up.

But the Niners need to lose two more and their remaining schedule doesn't look bad:
Rams two times.
Cardinals
Steelers (maybe this is one)
Seahawks.

AND...

All those teams with 7-4 (Falcons, Lions, Bears) need to lose one more time.

AND...

Dallas need to win out.

I'll be happy if the COWBOYS just get to the playoffs :P

Finally Tebow has come to San Diego!

I was at the game, it was just amazing. The love/failure for this guy is nothing ive seen in sports. Hes made me love the NFL again.

Got to San Diego at 10am, the parkinglot was already 50% full with all tailgating. yep TEBOWMANIA is alive and well in San Diego! I thought this was a Denver home game, Tebow jersrys everywhere. 70% Tebow and 25% Elway (the fathers and moms).

Inside the stadium the Denver side was all orange and blue with the top deck 60% Denver. On the San Diego side at least 15% Denver. In all Denver fans were close to 35% of total crowd. The season ticketholders next to me were shocked and a little pissed. It was crazy throughout the game when Denver did something great like a sack or a Tebow play the place went wild.

looks like i will be going to Oakland every year for Tebowmania!

why does anyone think Raiders will win AFC, Tebow "hate" just that much. All Denver has done is gone 5-1 with Tebow with 4 road wins. Its changed so much in a short time now people "expect a win next week "...

True, they showed a list on ESPN one night and I really hadn't noticed how big the list of guys were that they've tried, the worst thing is they could've had brees but went with culpepper, they gambled on the wrong guy coming back from an injury. the team they had in 02' with Ricky williams and that great D would've been sick with even a hobbled late 90's Marino. I guess my problem is I have to quit thinking they'll get another Marino, QB's like that just don't come along often.

It's too bad Tebow's Jesus doesn't allow premarital sex or you might have been able to give him a pregame blowjob in the locker rooms.

I get that you like the guy and want him to get the praise he deserves, but you must seriously have to clean the spooge from your monitor every time his name is mentioned on here.
