Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
why would you wish your precious Sting to go to WWE?(hes only 15 year to late!) that would be a major step down in your mind.
ha ha maybe the best 2 ever back to back!!

Because he could have some dream matches there. Sting/Cena. Sting/Rock. Sting/Taker. Set each feud up for three months and have it at a huge PPV. This will never happen but it would be cool.LAglamrocker wrote:why would you wish your precious Sting to go to WWE?(hes only 15 year to late!) that would be a major step down in your mind.
I'd love it to be someone besides Taker/Y2J but in reality who else could it be?

The 11/24 edition of Impact did 0.99 rating.
Sting way way past his prime not in major WWE matches ever, maybe bring back Chavo Classic vs Sting

Hulk Hogan is "way past his prime" and if he comes back to WWE at Mania 30 at MSG, he will make the pop Rock got at Survivor Series sound like a hot fart in church. WWE doesn't care about who the best wrestlers are, that hasn't been important in quite awhile. Maybe it will change when HHH actually takes over once Vince is no longer with us.LAglamrocker wrote: Sting way way past his prime not in major WWE matches ever, maybe bring back Chavo Classic vs Sting

Is Wrestlemania 30 really already known to be at MSG or were you just using that as a hypothetical scenario?Angry Jew wrote:Hulk Hogan is "way past his prime" and if he comes back to WWE at Mania 30 at MSG, he will make the pop Rock got at Survivor Series sound like a hot fart in church. Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Sting would never get a reaction Hogan,Rock or Austin gets. Sting reaction would be 50% of what Ryder gets now
Sting is not a true legend just some guy that never wanted to go to the "big show".
WWE has said every 10 years MSG gets the event, that kind of sucks..Mania now is all about the opening shot of a soldout stadium.
have Mania every 10 years in NYC is great, just have it in a stadium

Cena already confirmed it. I guess plans are always subject to change but I'd say that is what the plan is as of now.TheInfiniteStaircase wrote:Is Wrestlemania 30 really already known to be at MSG or were you just using that as a hypothetical scenario?Angry Jew wrote:Hulk Hogan is "way past his prime" and if he comes back to WWE at Mania 30 at MSG, he will make the pop Rock got at Survivor Series sound like a hot fart in church. That's awesome. I couldn't go to Survivor Series, but would love to do Mania in a few years, assuming any of the wrestlers I like are still around and/or alive.

It will be hard to get tix. A ton of them go to the people who buy the travel packages every year, they get first crack. When I went to Mania 20 at MSG ,we had tix but we were able to walk up to the box office and get better seats the day of the show even though it had been sold out for months.TheInfiniteStaircase wrote:That's awesome. You are talking out of your WWE fanboy ass now. Sting is a legend.WCW was huge for a period, in case you forgot. MSG/NYC appreciates legends and would give Sting a huge reaction.LAglamrocker wrote:Sting would never get a reaction Hogan,Rock or Austin gets. Sting reaction would be 50% of what Ryder gets now

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Sting is no true legend
you think he's the same league as Hogan,Rock,Austin.HBK,Undertaker,Flair?
no he's more like Booker T, Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Matt Hardy guy
Sting is like some AAA Baseball Player from Tacoma that has all the records, and wants to be in MLB Hall of Fame
dont forget when WCW was "huge" it was because of the WWF stars wanting to playball, made Sting feel like an allstar for a short period

Just wrong on so many levels. Forget TNA Sting, not close to what he was in early WCW, post NWA days. Watch his 60 minute matc(s)with Flair, watch the NWO Crow era Sting and then come back and call him triple AAA.LAglamrocker wrote:Sting is no true legend

McMahon would have loved to have signed him when he bought WCW, hell, he'd even sign him now. Sting doesn't want to work for McMahon, plain and simple.
He will be in the WWE hall of fame one day based on what he did outside of that company, just stop and think about that.

sting was as good as his opponent made him look.
he was mini hogan. kick/punch/slam. move holds needed.
i hated most of his matches.

This is so true when Sting first hit The NWA that eventually became WCW and during their Monday Night Wars with the then WWF Sting was a major player in Pro Wrestling.LynnrdVonHetfield wrote: Just wrong on so many levels. If no shot in hell means global expansion into Mexico/AAA and India then I guess they will be sticking around for a while. Since adding Bruce Prichard they are more consistent in the weekly broadcasts (believe me, I've been a critic of them for years now) and the booking of Bobby Roode as champ has been really good the past month and a half. Not to mention all of the TNA Knockouts look like they should be working for Vivid.kylel wrote:God TNA is terrible, I mean I know everyone says it's bad, but it really has no shot in hell. I just mean pure cheese factor, it's worse than WWE now and that's saying something.

Ive grown up with Sting and Hulkamania. Sting was never a true icon. Was he huge, sure he was. But not in the same league as an A List Legend. I watched first 4 Wrestlemainas and events thinking its real.
of course Sting will be in WWE Hall OF Fame thats a given, why would Sting even want to be in, its WWE after all

I didn't watch WCW but to me Goldberg always came across as the big guy on WCW. So I'm thinking, if Sting wasn't bigger than Goldberg, who wasn't even close to being in the Hulk, Austin, Rock league.....Sting wasn't that big?LAglamrocker wrote:Ive grown up with Sting and Hulkamania. Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
If Cena reformed the NWO with Nash or revived the Four Horsemen with Flair as his manager, that would be amusing.
And Sting was huge. Shit I would watch the WWE again if Sting went there, even if it was just a one-match deal. It would have to be Crow Sting though. With the classical score as his entrance theme.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
The deal with Sting is that he WAS a big deal. In WCW, he was huge around '97-98. But I think not eventually going to the 'E at least for a short time hurt his career. There's a whole generation of new fans that have no clue who he is. But, If they were to heavily hype his return and do it all virally, especially if the "2-21-11" videos WERE him last year, he'd blow the roof off of the place.

In case anybody is still wondering who's behind the 2nd day of 2012 video's its Jericho.
I guess its time to quit being a rockstar/gameshow host and get back to wrestling.
I bet he gets in an instant fued with Punk.

I guess there's still one WWE PPV to go this year but I'm doing the best of 2011:
Best match 2011.
1. Alberto Del Rio vs Christian - Ladder match - Extreme rules
2. Miz vs John Cena - Singles match - Wrestlemania
3. Kurt Angle - Jeff Jarret - Steel Cage - Lockdown
Worst moment of 2011
1. Raw - CM Punk and John Cena cockfighting with their championship belts
Most overrated match 2011
1. Money in the bank: CM Punk vs John Cena
Best in-ring wrestler 2011
1. Sin Cara
Best moment 2011
1. CM Punks "shoot" speech
