Cena vs Punk in Chicago wasnt the best matchever, thats not what i would say but best entertainment WWE style..yes
the crowd, vibe was off the charts made it feel real again. Cant think a match i was that excited for in many many years, just awesome. Events like that just reminds me when WWE done right its the greatest sport/entertainment ever
best moment
Ryder comes back to his place. Ryders dad "your not my son, thats my son", camera pans to Morrison cooking

Best match 2011.
1. Alberto Del Rio vs Christian - Ladder match - Extreme rules
Can't argue too much with this.
2. Miz vs John Cena - Singles match - Wrestlemania
I have a hard time putting Cena at the top of any match of the year lists. The guy can work, but his limited skillset, and the whole "SUPER CENA" thing is a real turn off.
3. Kurt Angle - Jeff Jarret - Steel Cage - Lockdown
Angle V Roode.
(honorable mention needs to go to Mikie James v Winter... Females chain wrestling, what's this?)
Worst moment of 2011
1. Raw - CM Punk and John Cena cockfighting with their championship belts
Most overrated match 2011
1. Money in the bank: CM Punk vs John Cena
CM Punk v HHH
Best in-ring wrestler 2011
1. Sin Cara
No way. That dude botches more moves than he hits. Not to mention his annoying lighting and total lack of mike work. Hell, I'd rather have seen the E keep Morrison than Sir Botch-a-Lot. At least Morrison's spot monkey moments are usually hits.
Best moment 2011
1. CM Punks "shoot" speech

WWE to stop making PPV"s ? Possibly moving them to the WWE Network
"The planned channel’s marquee programming would come from most of, if not all of, WWE’s current pay-per-view events. The company generally produces 13 PPV events per year. Most will migrate to the channel. It’s not known how many would remain PPV."

Ok, what was the deal with the new "IT'S COMING" video with the 2 kids. The little boy says "she" tells him what to do or something like that? Could I be right about Shane and Stephanie coming back? Sure don't seem like Y2J now....

I really thought it was Jericho up until the last video. Now, I have no clue who it could be. Adding the girl has really thrown everything off.kylel wrote:Ok, what was the deal with the new "IT'S COMING" video with the 2 kids. Is it going to be Jericho, but then someone else shows up as well? That will be interesting.ParaDime77 wrote:I read that Jericho is booked to show up for the January 2nd show.
After seeing the video last night, it's a guy and a chick coming back. I don't think it's Shane, but it would make sense.
On second thought - it's Stephanie, and she's bringing Jericho in to take out Punk. Remember - they teamed up back in 2002 against HHH.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
It's great to see Daniel Bryan win the world title. Hopefully they give the guy a good run with it.
Kinda 50/50 on Ryder winning the US title though. Dolph has been FANTASTIC and has made the US title important again. Maybe he's on the verge of a main event level push?
Same could be said for Cody Rhodes with the IC title as well. There's no one on there right now that should take it off of him anytime soon.

I'd say odds are very good that after the whole Big Show revenge angle runs out (hopefully soon) Dolf will take a run a Danial Bryan.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Former WWE superstar Batista tweeted the following about Daniel Bryan's World Heavyweight title win on Sunday night:
"excuse me! did i hear that right? Daniel Bryan World Heavyweight Champ. ummmmmmm.....ok."
After Batista's tweet set off a firestorm of responses from people calling him a hater for apparently not sounding pleased with WWE's decision to put the World title on Bryan, he replied:
"man did that comment bring the tough guy haters out. well i'm at Gracie Fighter Tampa daily. 6333 s. dale mabry hwy Tampa FL. stop on by"
Shortly thereafter, Batista followed up with the following statement, explaining his relationship with Daniel Bryan and why tweets from haters mean nothing to him:
"so to clear up any misunderstanding about me hating on Daniel Bryan...actually i've been a supporter of his for years, unlike most of you Johnny come lately smart mark supporters. we actually had a hell of a match together that was originally supposed to be a squash match until this old broken down ex bodybuilder who never deserved to be champion and only had it handed to me because HHH was my boy...refused to job the kid out because i knew how good he was and wanted to have a f*cking match with him before i left the company. and a hell of a match we had considering where our respective places in the company were at the time. so yes im aware of all of his accomplishments and hard work through out the years and i'm thrilled to death for him....but still...World Heavyweight champ???ummmmmmm...ok. opinions are like *ssholes. my Twitter account,my opinion. and to all the bitch ass haters who just dogged me out and bitched about how horrible i was.....i've worked with HHH, the Undertaker,Rey Mysterio,Randy Orton Stone Cold,Edge,John Cena,Chris Benoit,Ric f***ing Flair!!etc.etc.. and they all respected me and my work. Eddie Guerrero respected my work. so don't expect your little bullsh*t remarks to actually carry any weight. in your b*tch ass faces!! "

I read that Vince wanted to keep the belt on Mark Henry, but he injured his groin and they had to adjust on the fly. Bryan probably won't keep the title very long.
