As my arugment states sir, I'm not talking about the back to back title years and what Gasol did then. I'm talking about him flaming the fuck out this past season. If you are so much the Lakers fan-boi you claim you are (not), you know as well as everyone else does that Kobe wants him the fuck out of LA. The guy is LA's version of LeBron. First off- I admit I'm a Laker fan, so if this sounds bias, maybe it is.
Bullshit that the NBA blocked this trade. What? Lakers arent allowed
to improve or try to improve themselves? How many days has this
soap opera of Chris Paul being traded gone on? At least a week?
If the league didnt want him traded, it should've been said over
a week ago.
This trade has to go through.
Overall, all three teams get what they want. Lakers get a point
guard. The Hornets get multiple quality players, & Houston gets
a big man to replace Yao Ming.
I read that Chris Paul will try to do something legally to get this trade
to go through.
What the Hornets get is 10 times better than what the Nuggets got
for Carmelo.
I feel bad for Pau & Lamar, but business is business. Anyone except
Kobe is available.
I like both players, but the league is different & the Lakers have to move
forward. Lamar was always available it just depended on the other players
involved. My problem with Lamar was you never knew what Lamar was going
to show up. Some games he played great, other games he would not be present
at all. Besides I cant stand his wife & that dopey tv show he was on.
Gasol- after last year's playoffs & his poor performance I had a feeling his time
in Los Angeles might be done. He was the main reason the Lakers got swept
by the Mavs. Pure & simple. The Lakers win championships. If a player doesnt
play with that goal, its time to move on.
My guess is this deal will go through. There will be too much backlash by fans &
other NBA'ers for it not to.

Sorry, the NBA cant let this happen. If the Lakers cant make
a deal, neither can the Nets.

Dude You should be fucking thankful, getting Paul wasent going to do shit for LA unless Howard were to make his way there as well, the lakers were the ones running their mouths about getting both Paul and Howard a day before all this Bullshit went down,looked like they were ready to settle for just Paul by getting rid of the length that made them so good, would've neen a huge mistake. And the NBA dosent own the nets, they own the hornets, best thing to do in that situation is let him sit their in NO til his contracts up and let him sign where he really wants to play, You can't compare the two situations. I think it was a fair trade unless the rumors about Okafor and another player going to LA with Paul are true, if it was just for Paul then the lakers were about to get raped, Stern did them a favor.

My bad on the lakers talking it was so called "sources". Anyway I think it was a fair trade and after learning all the details shouldnt have been vetoed and completley agree the hornets would at least get something. What I meant by the lakers getting raped is If I were a laker fan I wouldn't be happy with that deal unless it somehow meant Howard was to follow, and Howard apparently wants to be a Net. Now as a Celtics fan I'd love to see the Lakers give up their 2 big men for Paul, I honestly don't know what they're thinking there.

I heard on Mason & Ireland today that nobody else is making any deals because everybody is waiting for the chips to fall on the Paul deal.
Last I read & heard the 3 teams are trying to get a deal done.

Cuban is going to cry like a bitch over this to shut down any chance of it happening. He wants to sign CP3 after this season as a FA.

As an NBA fan with little to no interest in the Lakers I still think they can win at least one more championship with their current line-up or something close to it.
