The disgraced and heavily sanctioned former Ohio St coach?

Well, there goes P-13's constant "Bellicheat!" angle, since Tressel is a dirty fuck.

 Didnt Tressel "consult" them to 2-14? Caldwell needed to go, but Tressel? If this is true, Irsay has lost his damn mind.

Daddy gave him a football team and he can do whatever he wants with it.

He's bringing in his guys to run the team the way he wants. It will be funny as hell if he drafts Luck and keeps Manning so they have no money to build a team around them.

That's fucked up.

Your coach is still a toolbag who breeds a workplace of toolbags by his actions. He is a poor example for your players as they rack up more flags than the united nations or an international church with childish behavior.

I watched just about every game that Tressel coached (reluctantly, but in Ohio you'll find OSU is on EVERY CHANNEL ALL THE FRICKIN' TIME!) This guy is not an NFL coach. Defensive Coordinator, tops. And that's a stretch. His role with the Colts was "red flag consultant."

Truth.
Considering L13's prediction % is worse than Tebow's completion %, I'd reconsider that.

A few weeks ago you said Tebow was going to beat the Packers in the Super Bowl and stop their chances of being repeat champions like the Broncos did in 1998.

Explain
The loss to the Chiefs was an exhibition game when the Broncos wouldn't have had to rely on anyone else to get into the playoffs?
Or are you talking about when they lost to the Bills the week before?
Certainly you're not talking about the Lions game in week 8?

The fact is Tebow is a bottom of the barrel quarterback. There are 32 teams in the NFL. You'd have trouble naming 3 starting QBs that you would take Tebow over. Here are the projected starters for 2012:

AFC
Buffalo - Fitpatrick
Miami - Moore
New England - Brady
New York - Sanchez
Baltimore Ravens - Flacco
Cincinnati Bengals - Dalton
Cleveland Browns - McCoy (Griffin?)
Pittsburgh Steelers - Rapistberger
Houston Texans - Schaub
Indianapolis Colts - Manning or Luck
Jacksonville Jaguars - Gabbert
Tennessee Titans - Hasselback
Denver Broncos - Tebow
Kansas City Chiefs - Cassel or Orton
Oakland Raiders = Palmer or Campbell
San Diego Chargers - Rivers

NFC
Dallas Cowboys - Romo
New York Giants - Manning
Philadelphia Eagles - Vick
Washington Redskins - Grossman
Chicago Bears - Cutler
Detroit Lions - Stafford
Green Bay Packers - Rodgers
Minnesota Vikings - Ponder
Atlanta Falcons - Ryan
Carolina Panthers - Newton
New Orleans Saints - Brees
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Freeman
Arizona Cardinals - Kolb
San Francisco 49ers - Smith
Seattle Seahawks - Jackson
St. Louis Rams - Bradford

Keep in mind that Matt Flynn is going to one of the teams, Oakland will trade Campbell, KC will move Orton or Cassel, and Garrard will be back from surgery. Now try to find 3 teams where Tebow would be an upgrade over the QB they have, will draft, or can get in free agency.

If you're Denver, bringing in Garrard makes a lot of sense. He can run an offense based on a running attack with a modified option and then make the reads and throws Tebow can't. All they have to do is take the offense they dumbed down for Tebow and dial it back up notch. If Tebow doesn't show any improvement they won't have to completely overhaul the offense for his replacement. A ball control offense with good defense backing it up is tailor made for Garrard. Thoughts?

That's not a bad idea. Do you think Garrard would go somewhere that he had to beat somebody else out for the job? They'll give Tebow as much rope as they can.

So i'd just like to say as a 49ers fan that I'm pretty pissed that two great offensive series (plays, really) is apparently all it takes for Alex Smith to be cemented in as the starting QB. Start of the season, all anyone was talking about was who the 49ers were gonna look for at QB once Smith was out. Now, everybody apparently thinks this guy is franchise. Now, I'm very glad that Smith stepped up when he needed to, and hope he continues to do so this sunday. But let's not forget that the defense had 5 turnovers and it was still only a one possesion game from the 2nd quarter on. The offense failed to capitalize on the opportunities the defense gave them all game long. Are the 49ers management and fans really going to forget six seasons of mediocrity at QB because of an exciting finish to one playoff game?
It's like granny always said: "Some turds float to the top; some turds sink to the bottom. In the end, they all get flushed."
