WWE has announced that Rey Mysterio has been suspended for 60 days.
“STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) for 60 days effective Thursday, April 26 for his second violation of the company’s policy.”
Mysterio recently stated on Twitter that he was planning to return form injury in May, but now he’s looking at a late-June/early-July return at the earliest.

Does Meltzer believe that Triple H carried the WWE on his shoulders in the years between Rock,Austin,Lesnar leaving and before Batista and Cena caught on?Angry Jew wrote:My friend is interviewing Dave Meltzer this Friday for http://www.sports-casters.com so if you guys have any questions, post em here!

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
- Kevin Nash went on a long Twitter rant about WWE and the Hall of Fame on Thursday night. Nash says the WWE Hall of Fame means nothing to him. Here are some of his comments:
"HOF means nothing to me,If I Die before it I,ve asked my wife to pass.Nothing against it or WWE,but if Pete Rose ain't in cooperstown"
"Just don't need it to validate my life.I wake every morning to the sight of the ocean. for a Detroit boy I'm already in"
"I watched it this year from up close, just don't need the stress,I love the WWE,just love me more.90% of my shout outs are gone. Not cool"
"Don't worrie some stooge at WWE;who's job is to read all this shit will as of tonight'make sure it never comes up,let alone happens"
Nash was accused by a fan of drunk tweeting. He replied that wasn't the case. Nash says he was upset because he just found out that one of his "dearest friends got let go today from WWE."
Who could Nash be talking about? Road Dogg?

Former WWE star MVP interviewed former co-worker Carlito for a lengthy sit-down interview. You can view the part one at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IizfZR6L ... re=plcpand

Powell's POV: Carlito discusses the chaotic WWE road schedule, WWE asking him to go to rehab, attempting to score a release on multiple occasions, and more. It's like a free shoot video with two WWE stars.

Not a huge surprise.I was at an indy show a few years back, and Sabu wrestled totally wasted. They had to stretch a five match undercard until 12am,when he finally showed.

Brock=fun, but unless I'm really missing something, he's having a real problem scaling back from his UFC mentality. I've heard of a good sell, a stiff wrestler, but a lot of Brock tonight was down right cagefighting. Looked to me like Supercena was having a hard time seperating the sell from survival in a couple of places. I also thought that kimoura was wrenched a lot harder than was needed to ensure a sell.

Finally WWE allows the blood to flow again, though they tried to clean it up. Great match......but I don't understand why they had Brock lose.

I agree 100% a few times I thought, holy shit he is gonna snap his arm. If Cena is really hurt, then Brock fucked up big time. Screw all the heel/face shit you don't take away a guys career just to show you're an actual cage fighter. If the arm injury is a work, then Cena deserves an award. Those blows were a little too stiff in the begining, but Cena stayed with it and that's no small feat!nakedmadman wrote:Brock=fun, but unless I'm really missing something, he's having a real problem scaling back from his UFC mentality. Just watched the match.I was really excited for this one.In the end I was let down by the finish.I don't hate Cena but I don't understand why they would pay all that money to bring Brock in for him to lose in his first match back.
The match was good but good but the commentary sucked.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Saw the highlights of this match on an MMA site, and I'd just like to point out that the kimura was never in a position of hurting Cena. The kimura is a shoulder lock (or in some variants an elbowl lock), and doesn't damage the arm as much as the shoulder joint. For the kimura to be effective, the arm should be locked behind the body, or the shoulder muscles are not being torqued enough. Cena's arm never went past his body and thus there would never have been enough pressure for the joint lock to cause actual damage. I do a lot of BJJ, and you'd be amazed at how far the arm can actually be contorted behind the back before there is actually enough pain to tap, let alone cause damage. For what it's worth, Brock was very measured in his application of the kimura and indeed looked after his opponent.

Sabu was found passed out in his hotel room and had to go to the hospital (I believe this was taken the night before Extreme Reunion)
Sandman also showed up wasted.
I read about this event online and the general consensus was that Jerry Lynn vs Devon Storm was the best match of the night.
I was there...and yeah - it was the shittiest card I've ever been to. JC was tossed from backstage and Sabu was in the hospital. A bunch of other no-shows too (Tracy Smothers, Nova, Rhyno). Raven didn't wrestle (he just had his Flock fight Pitbull Gary Wolfe), Sandman didn't wrestle, Gangstas did about 5 min, Balls & Axl did about 5 min.... It was just really, really bad.
2 Cold held his own in the main event, but Shane is too fat to do much anymore. Storm / Lynn was a FANTASTIC match, but it was definitely the only thing on the card to get excited about.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Here's the latest bit of news I've picked up from some other websites:
1 - Rey Mysterio was backstage at a show in San Diego and I guess acting a little wired up so the WWE ordered a piss test it came back positive for amphetamines.
He acted all suprise and denied taking any amphetamines then changed his story to he had a prescription.
After several days with not showing any prescription and knowing that that's the exact same thing that happened the last time he flunked a piss test the WWE decided to go public with the results.
2 - Brock Lesnar was pissed off backstage after the PPV because the story was supposed to be Brock lost the match but kicked the shit out of Cena so bad he had to be carried out of the ring with a strecher.
When Cena cut the promo after the match Brock had no idea that was going to happen.
Brock is only required to show up for 2 apperances a month.
3 - The current plan is for Brock to go into a fued with Orton and have a match at summerslam. (Here's to hoping he actually kicks Orton's ass)
Personal opinion here I hope Brock sticks around after his contract is up even if that means he continues with his current contract stipulations he's just too good of a bad guy.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I went and saw Mick Foley do stand-up comedy last night. It was pretty cool, got a handshake and a photo afterwards but I look too stalkerish in the picture so I won't be posting
Reverend Bob Levy was way funnier, but Foley held his own and had some good stories. He made a joke that if Hacksaw Jim Duggan or Kevin Smith had walked out on stage instead of him would anyone have known the difference...LOL

the only way AA is going to go to the E is if Vince finally pulls his head out of his ass and revives the cruiser weight title. Do that, he'll gut the X-division and kill TNA.Captain Morgan wrote:If there's any luck, Austin Aries is on his way out of there and heading for WWE.ozzyrulz777 wrote:Impact was horrible last night.
