Tomlinson didn't always carry himself as well as he might have, but he was far from the sort of prima donna the NFL is so blighted by.

And even though he had little or no post-season success, his stats are straight first ballot.

I never understood the hate of LT. s it from that one playoff game where he was on the sideline with his helmet on?

I think its that and the fact that the QB (Rivers, not Brees) was becoming the central face of the offense and he pouted about it.

Its a different game now RB's are not as valuable as they once were.

ESPN confirmed a report from that Chris Berman will call his first NFL regular season game as a play-by-play announcer during the Monday Night Football Week 1 nightcap between the Raiders and the Chargers.

Trent Dilfer will be Berman’s color man;

So true. Berman is among the worst 1% of sports broadcasters on the planet.

He must have something on the executives at Disney because he seems untouchable. There have been reports that everyone in Bristol tired of his bullshit years ago.

Ridiculous.
Why can't the press release simply say 60 mil, and omit the 100 mil from
the equation?

I guess Brees is worth that amount. I think the team overpaid, but given the circumstances that happened to the team during the off-season, Brees had all the leverage. Saints did not have a choice.

Yeah, they had to keep their incredibly popular face of the franchise (coming off a record season), no matter what. Surprised it wasn't more. I don't think anyone has ever had better leverage.

ESPN is almost enough to make me stop watching sports altogether. The problem is dumb old jocks will watch ESPN 24/7. They actually enjoy those shit shows.

U Jelus.

Good luck with Christian Ponder and Peterson's rap sheet and gimpy knee.

The stage is set, and the Redskins are on the way back. I can feel it.

You'll get to see it first hand when the Skins play the Vikings this season. A fucking gain. Seriously, why the fuck do the Skins play the goddamn Vikings EVERY SEASON?!

The worst one by far is First Take with Screamin A. Smith and Skip Clueless.
How those two motherfuckers got a job on a national TV show is mindboggling.

No, actually I think higher of him now if anything. I'm not jealous at all. The Vikes got I wanted. I just think you acting like he's already a great NFl player is laughable.
