What a pleasure watching that game. That was just special. I've seen Peyton manning do that countless times but it never gets old. Brought back great memories. There is no one else like Peyton Manning, ever.

Shame to see Ray Lewis go down like that. Just like Peyton Manning last year, it's a loss for all real football fans, not just Ravens fans. I do believe he'll be back next year, though.

Best. Game. EVER.

Ok, 2nd half. First half I was seething, and I swear I was going to have a stroke. Had to stop watching for a bit.

Eagles fire Defensive Coordinator - what a way to start your bye week.

The guy hadn't coached defense since high school, what the fuck was Andy Reid thinking?

Maybe this offseason the Eagles and the Chargers can swap head coaches. Same shit, different bag.

Last night was just brutal. As soon as Denver came out from the half and scored a quick TD, I knew the Chargers would choke it away. Norv Turner - aided and abetted by his patron saint, AJ Smith - have driven this team into sub-mediocrity and they're gonna go even further down.

It's a combination of things. Reid had a top five league winning percentage for a number of years and they did make it to 4 NFC title games and one SB which is a lot better than many teams have done in the past 15 years. However, it has always been glaring that Reid is a horrible game manager and doesn't adjust his game plan if it isn't working. Up until Jim Johnson died he had an awesome defensive coordinator and enough talent on both sides of the ball to mask his deficiencies. In addition, the Eagles' owner Jeff Lurie is one of the nicest most benevolent guys in the league and I believe is very close to Reid and his family.

This is all true but it's clear to everyone that a change is needed. Reid will probably take a couple years off and then get another NFL head coaching job if he wants it, but it's over in Philly.

Last year was the big "all-in" move and it was just a repeat of the 2000 Redskins. Can't say I was too unhappy as I hate the Eagles but that's life.

he had a great run but McNabb couldn't deliver in the Super Bowl and that's all she wrote.

Making Castillo D-coordinator was one of his dumbest moves. That just looked stupid from day one.

Oh, I completely agree his time is up. He probably should have been let go last year, but he does just enough to give hope for the next season which is all Jeff Lurie needs to keep him around. I'm more concerned that Michael Vick will remain the starting QB than Reid will remain the coach.

I just don't understand where you go from here if you plan on dumping Vick. McNabb sucks, Jim McMahon is senile, and Kevin Kolb isn't coming back.

Seriously, what's the backup plan? It's not like the Eagles are going to be bad enough to get a top QB in the draft.

Nick Foles was very capable in the backup role going into the season. At some point you have to look to the future. In hindsight they probably traded the wrong guy (Kolb) but it was hard to argue against it at the time because Vick was doing very well and looked like he was maturing into a leader. Obviously he's completely regressed. 3-3 wouldn't seem to be the right time to throw in the towel on the season but those wins don't indicate how poorly they have played. I would think Vick has a very short leash going forward.

Didn't his son just die during training camp? If he's that tight with the owner, maybe he's getting a little extra slack.

Hey congrats to Peyton Manning last night on a great second half!!

Not often a QB makes a pick six and recovers a fumble and runs it 65 yards for a TD! The man is incredible!

Kinda fitting for a dog killer.

Opponents have "neutered" him.

Think the Eagles will "put him down" after the season?
