Is that last one possible to watch without downloading something?
That first one wanted me to download some shit and I'm always leery of doing that.

Well it looks like Rock vs Cena for the belt at Wrestlemania.

Everyone knew that was going to happen, but I think the finish could have still been better. The "People's Elbow"? One of the reasons I hate wrestling at times is because of "moves" like that.
They keep rumoring Undertaker/Punk at Mania. It would have been cooler if the lights went out again, but this time Undertaker destroyed Punk causing him to lose to The Rock.

Totally agree. Rocky was gassed after 5 fucking minutes. We all knew this was the outcome but that is one of the worst finishers of all time. So lame.
I really enjoyed the rumble match as well...except for the finish. I want to punch Super Cena. I did Mark out when Jericho came out. I was very happy to see him tonight.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Cena wins the Rumble and Punk loses the belt to Rocky? More predictable bullshit. Can't wait until Cena takes the belt from Rock...
I know we all hope for that Cena heel turn, but what would be interesting is if Cena is behind the Shield. I can't recall a time when they took Cena out (I could be wrong) - I remember them going after Ryback in the triple threat match. If they keep coming after the Rock, Cena could be using the Shield to weaken the man he could not beat at WrestleMania in order to finally beat him. Rock loses (but not cleanly) and Cena starts off his first fresh reign as a heel in years.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Punk/Taker, and as much of a Taker fan I am, I'd love to see Punk end the streak.

Am I the only one that sees Stone Cold coming back in the near future?

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
That would be fuckin awesome if Cena was behind The Shield. More-so because it would give Punk promos for days. It could even be the move that takes Punk from complete heel to that Stone Cold territory where he's just neutral. I just don't see that happening. He's way too big with the kids and Ryback and Sheamus don't seem to have caught on as strongly yet. Then again, no one saw the Hogan/NWO thing coming.
I also agree that if anyone ends Taker's streak I'd love to see it be Punk.
It could just be because I live in the NY/NJ area, but there seems to be a lot of hype about this Wrestlemania and it being in NY/NJ - I feel like something big's going to happen. Whether it be an unexpected turn or the end of the streak.
Everyone knows Cena's going to win. And no one believes Taker will ever lose...Pick one of those scenarios and shock people.

From pwinsider.com:
WWE and Brock Lesnar have come to terms for a new two year deal. Lesnar will be locked in to the company through Wrestlemania 31.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I can't believe they seriously booked another duct tape finish. It's amazing how they managed to fuck up the last event worth watching, one that I thought was pretty much fool-proof. Even the battle royal was weak. The only good parts were Claudio Castagnoli (pre-show, of course), Jericho and Ziggler.
This year's has to be the shittiest Wrestlemania ever, and I already regret even watching the last two. I just don't give a fuck about anything people like Undertaker, Rock, Cena, Triple H, or Lesnar are involved in.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
It's getting to the point now where they have this class of wrestlers who ONLY work Wrestlemania. So much that Mania no longer features the guys you watch every week, but more so the "classic" wrestler class. It's stupid.
This will be 'Taker's 3rd match in 3 years. Just hang it up already...

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
The Undertaker gets a pass IMO. He's had his body beaten up for over 20 years and can still pull out a match that can be considered match of the year every year. His matches have became the star attractions of the last bunch of Wrestlemanias. Especially last year... the man looked like an absolute beast, when I thought he looked kinda frail in '11.
As for Brock, I just wish he would either fully commit to returning or not at all. I don't mean he has to come back and work house shows and both Raw and Smackdown every week, but it would be nice to see him on a consistent basis. This showing up for two weeks, having a match and then being gone for 6 months just doesn't cut it. If he got paid $5 million for this contract... this mean he's getting $2.5 million to sit at home from Summerslam in August until right after the Elimination Chamber PPV in Feb. That's half a year and he didn't have to do ANYTHING and got paid more than half the roster combined.
Hopefully on this new 2-year deal, he's made himself more available.

Brock's in for a two year deal? Let's hope that makes Cena/Rock a triple threat with Brock walking away with the title. The "biggest" WWE star vs. a huge actor/former huge WWE star vs. a former UFC/former WWE star = something that will draw all sorts of fans. Shake it up a bit - don't go for Brock/HHH AGAIN.

Are you watching for their awesome business strategies or for shitty matches?Captain Morgan wrote:Brock's in for a two year deal? Let's hope Lesnar's contract includes him doing nothing but shooting star presses. Only entertainment he ever delivered.

It's visual proof that The Shield helped CM Punk win at RR, only to have Vince re-start the match because of the interference.

A little late, my thoughts on the Rumble:
* Never in my life could I imagine that I would mark out to Sheamus. He had a great entrance, a flawless rumble match. He was great throughout and the shining star of RR 2013.
* Orton and Miz had cool entrances. Wade Barrett, Ceasaro, Damien Sandow and others had shitty entrances. Learn how to work geeks!
* Ryback and Cena's final confrontation was way too short and was waaayy lackluster.
* Sin Cara looked chubby.
* Average Rumble overall.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
New Bret Hart shoot on HHH! Bret makes some really great points.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... SNJX1aBDSw
Bret Hart spoke with Wrestle Talk TV Extra. Here are some of the things he had to say about Triple H.
"I have a certain amount of respect for Triple H. I remember when he first came in, I remember commenting on stuff that he did. Because I'd usually give wrestlers my thoughts and try to help them on stuff... Triple H has always been a good wrestler. But great? What is he now, a 1,000 time world champion? How great really is he?
"I look at [CM] Punk... I can look at certain wrestlers and I go, this guy is an innovator. Like a Rey Mysterio, who's done stuff that no one has ever thought of before. Punk has done stuff -- really unique moves and you go, 'gee I've never seen anything like that before.' They innovate all the time, and they create new sequences and moves and things.
"Then you look at someone like Triple H. When I look at him -- he's always had a good look as far as his body went -- he always had a pretty muscular physique. But you look at someone like Hunter and you wonder, what has he really done. One move that he ever created that nobody ever saw before or some highspots or an idea for a match... He's mostly a guy that just showed up and they made him. He's always been a decent wrestler -- I would consider him a good wrestler and pretty talented. But great? I don't know, I don't think so.
"What has he ever done that's great? He's never had a great match, I don't think ever. Whenever I look at Triple H's matches, including the last one he had with Undertaker -- and I don't really mean it as a knock -- but I told myself before I watched it because I'm trying to like Paul now these days, that I want to see him do something to make me think he's got greatness in him.
"Before Triple H wrestled Undertaker last year, I remember watching it and going, 'I can picture the whole match in my head, I can tell you exactly what this match is going to be like and how it's going to go. And I remember watching it and it went exactly how I predicted it... I thought it was mediocre at best, maybe a 4 out of 10, or 3 out of 10.
"I think Paul is a little overrated... overrated for being great. I can sit here and tell you that there was one match that he ever had with anybody that I thought was great. It's kind of a shame, he should have a great match somewhere with somebody. And you'd think that he would have had it by now, but I don't think he's a great wrestler."

Bret's always been so far up his own ass.
He wrestled almost the exact same match for years. Talking about innovative sequences? Please. Bret had it on cruise control for such a long time.
Bret was a really good wrestler, but he never matched up to his catchphrase.
