UFC released a bunch of people today. Most surprising was Jon Fitch... I know hes not the most exciting but he's one of the best welterweights. Dana prolly been looking for a reason to cut him and not have to pay him what he gets...

Kos Decision
Johnson KO
Kinda funny about the match between Lavar Johnson and Schaub, he deosn't have much luck with people nicknamed "Big"; always gets knocked the fuck out (Big Country, Big Nog, Big Ben Rothwell, and now Lavar Big Johnson)

If I was Carmouche (spelling) I would stay away from Rousey & get her out of the 1st round & see what happens. These girls always tie up with her, get taken down, & armbarred.
I hope like hell that Hendo knocks Machida out. the H BOMB baby!!

I saw this. I think Dana is doing Jon Fitch a favor. Jon was starting to loose to many fights, Now Jon can go fight someplace else, and his current ranking should get him a nice contract.
Win some fights, dude can come back, May even be the kick in the pants Jon needs to become hungry once again.
Dana could of waited, and the lower his ranking goes, the less he is worth. Will agree, Even Dana said they paid this guy lots of money. Its a business.
I'm finding it difficult to masturbate to this. I'm trying, I just have so little to work with...
That neck crank Carmouche had on her looked pretty nasty....impressed to see ronda can work her way out of deep water, I thought she was gonna pass out. I'm glad Machida won only because i want to see him get a second crack at jones. I really believe he can beat him. The koshcheck fight was stopped a little early, but at the same time I don't think he was getting out of trouble. Faber looked really good, but can't carry that tho the highest levels of competition though. Shaub fight really scared. He just held down johnson for 3 rounds and barely did anything. All in all a good night of fights IMO

Should be fight of the night.
I can't stand Machida. He in no way deserves a rematch with Jones. The dude got choked out to the point of passing out last time.
The Faber submission was nice.
Overall except for Machida doing nothing for 3 rounds it was a good night of fights.
I enjoy watching Machida fight and last night was no exception,he fought like he always does and the end result was the most likely scenario anyways.
Hendo kept trying to set up the H-bomb, Machida kept avoiding it and countering, but I had the feeling something could and was about to happen like an H-bomb ko or a crane kick knockdown.
What I found funny were those fighter stats, both their heigh is listed as 6'1'' (whatever that means) when you can clearly see that Dan is shorter. Reach was the same too (even though Goldberg said something else) but I was drunk and it seemed like Dan had T-rex arms, those stats are all fucked up.
I used to enjoy watching Machida fight. Not anymore. Spends the first round avoiding contact, the second round backing up and throwing occasional jabs and kicks, and the last round sorta engaging. I understand how he won but wish he would have lost.
The Bermudez fight WAS the fight of the night. Wow. Good stuff.
The main event was better than I expected. Good stuff.

I'm surprised Ronda survived that neck crank. Her face was getting seriously mauled. She's got one hell of a heart. It reminded me of the Jones/Belfort fight when Vitor could've finished it, but Jones escaped.
I said it before & will say again, it was a good night of fights.
The "chick fight" was better than every other fight except the Bermudez fight. And yeah, I thought Roussey was gonna drop, she is definitely tough. The women went right at it. Machida could learn a thing or two from them.
Man, the next UFC PPV looks good too. Looking foward to Diaz taunting GSP and then losing, and the Hendricks/Condit fight should be good.
Apparently Aldo said that Pettis didn't deserve it and didn't want to fight him because of it, but excepted when he was told he would get a shot at 155 if he wins, having a chance to be the first simultaneous multi divisional champ in the UFC.

I read about Aldo. That's really lame. When you are the champ you fight whoever they put in front of you. Ben Henderson ducks nobody, Bones Jones doesnt, GSP doesnt (when he isnt injured), and Anderson Silva doesn't.
If a champ doesnt want to fight a certain fighter, strip him.
I understand that logic, but it's ridiculous that two lightweight contenders in a row can get gifted an immediate titleshot and hold up guys like KZ, Lamas, and Swanson that have quite a few impressive wins in the division that deserve a shot more. Jon Jones fights middleweights, Anderson fights non top ten LHW's, and GSP wanted to fight Diaz instead of Hendricks. No one actually faces the #1 contender of their divison anymore.

There isn't one fighter in Jone's division that is ready to fight Jones. He beats whoever they throw at him. A Jones vs Machida rematch? Really? GSP vs Diaz was going to happen before Dana gave Diaz the boot. Anderson Silva has cleaned out his division again & again.
Just read Faber has stepped up to headline the TUF final after Mighty Mouse went down with an injury.
My predictions for the fights tonight. This might just be the greatest free card on paper ever
Stann KO
Hunt KO
Sanchez Decision
Lombard KO
I've never seen Hirota fight, but I'll go out on a limb and say he'll beat Yahya by decision
Siyar Bahadurzada KO
Other than seeing what the Skyscraper is up to these days I could care less about this card. Too many boring asian fighters.
I'm going to Rick Springfield tonight.
