eddie lee roth wrote:Looks like a good new 30 for 30 doc that premires tomorrow night about the time when Elway and Marino entered the NFL.

If I remember right when Elway was drafted first by the Colts he said he wouldn't play for them until they had the bestest owner in the whole wide world.

Here it is all these years later and it still hasn't happened.

Thrilled ESPN continues to produce more 30 for 30 films. Looking forward to watching this film.
Marino played in the SB his rookie year and never went again.
Elway took forever to win a SB then won consecutive Super Bowls. His career and legacy were in doubt up until he won those games.

Ridiculous. TB is insane.
Hell no, as a Bucs fan I totally dig it. None of the money is guaranteed and you used your draft pick on the best player you were going to get this year. After all the wants that the Jets were putting out there, TB stuck to their guns and as I see it, the Jets were just stuck. Nice doing business with ya! The fact that the Bucs are finally putting together a defense is a pleasure!

Sept 8th, Bucs vs Jets. Buttfumble II?

At first I didn't think TB was doing the right thing until I heard about the no money guaranteed part.

Did he ask Rickey Williams if he could borrow Master P to help him with his contract.

Revis has a huge chip on his shoulder and that was before he knew about
the game vs his former team.
Signing a non-guaranteed contract favors the franchise.
Can Revis live up to the hype and give fair value for a 1st round pick at #13?
Time will tell.

Seems like a good move for the Bucs.

I can't believe this deal revis took. Technically, he is guaranteed the $15 million for this season, but after that all bets are off. If he gets hurt or sucks he's SOL.

You're a fucking moron, but then again we knew that. They're paying enormously high money to a guy who just tore his ACL. They don't know if he'll be the same player he was. And yes, the money is not technically "guaranteed," but they are not about to cut a guy who they surrendered a 1st and 3rd round draft pick for, without giving him a few years to live up to that price. And even if they do cut him after one year, they just wasted two very important picks and a ton of money. As a Redskins fan, you surely know about wasting picks and overplaying for lackluster players.

If the Colts made this deal for the same $$, you would have nothing but positive things to say about the deal. Your post would be a minimum of 3 paragraphs regarding how the Colts made the best trade of the year and Revis is a sure-fire Pro Bowl player

Yes boy, you are wrong. I was never a fan of making big trades for big name, costly players. It rarely works out. You will not find any instances of the Colts making a trade like this in recent history.

After your ridiculous meltdown you've been branded for life on here, you remember that don't you, you know the one where you said you were leaving for good with your dignity intact and you were going to sue the mod and Stevil, you were going to have your day in court.

Everybody on here remembers it and it all started over you showing how dumb you really are when it comes to football once again, just like that time the Colts played the Saints in the Super Bowl.

You have no room to talk about somebody else and their smarts when it comes to football, you're basically the villiage idiot around here.

I think this is one of the worst drafts in recent memory for QB's, I don't like any of'em, If I was one of the GM's for a team that needed a QB, I'd look at one my second positon needs would be and draft from there.

What do you guys think about that RB from South Carolina, Marcus Lattimore, forgetting about what AD has done (that man is a beast) this guy has torn both ACL's in his college career, I like'em but I just don't know, it will be intersting to see how he adjusts to the NFL.

Terry Allen went on to have many productive years in the nfl after double acl surgery, and that was 15 years ago.

Still seems a rough way to start off.

Didn't Willis McGhee also have the same thing happen to him in his college days at Miami??? He went on to have a pretty good career also.

I'm not sayin Lattimore can't do it, I'm just looking at it from the viewpoint of a fan of the NFL and sayin it will be interesting to see how the guy does.

I'd like to see him do well which ever team he plays for unless its the Colts.

Lattimore could be a steal in the later rounds, He would've been picked tonight if it werent for that injury, as Levi pointed out with Allen and You did with McGahee, Frank Gore also had a similiar injury and been a great RB, I'd love for Miami to grab him late.

They gave up their first round pick for this draft last year so they could get that QB that caused you to post that pic of the Colts head coach and Andrew Luck fucking, I thought you knew that.

Yeah I'm really upset that the skins don't have a first rounder in the worst nfl draft EVER, and instead have the best young qb in the league, a franchise future hall of famer and rookie of the year.

Tragic.

Nice sigs Gregg.

The Vikings actually did really good in this years draft. They could have a nice run despite having Christian Ponder as their starting QB.

Poor Levy. He's so distraught about having a gimp for a QB that he's gone full on delusional, saying that first round draft picks DON'T MATTER. Just like when the Skins are losing, winning DOESN'T MATTER. Surprised you're not a better loser after having so much experience at it, Levy.

Are you're really going to talk about somebody else being a loser?

Everybody in here knows how your predictions turn out.
