That's 26.2187 miles in just over 123 minutes.
Now go out and try to run two miles in 9:25 minutes.

Kenya? I thought the right to winning Berlin Marathons was officially owned by Ethiopia, but I haven't really followed this since I don't live on the route anymore.

I was given a fucking ticket for trespassing by an asshole cop bitch this morning, though. It doesn't matter if far and wide nobody was running, you're supposed to walk around the entire city if you have shit to do on the other side of the track, I guess. Why can't they do this shit in the woods or on the autobahn instead? I should have just run away, but I was too scared somebody could have mistaken me for an athlete.

That's crazy speed.
I'm a runner & do a mile in around 9 minutes, and do
a bit over 7 miles.
I pretty much put it on cruise control & go. Sometimes
I will mess with myself I will pick up the pace & then
slow it back down.
When I jog at Griffith Park I see distance runners & these
people are doing some serious speed. You can tell they
are long distance runners because they don't have an
ounce of fat & hardly any muscle. Almost all skin, tendons, & bone.

I'm a reasonable club runner, and when I'm doing one-lap repititions I can usally do 15 with 45 seconds recovery in round about 70 seconds each . But after that I will be wiped out, and I consider myself to be a fit guy.

That marathon world record works out at 105 laps of 70 seconds, back to fucking back. Elite marathon runners are superhuman.
