Mike Tomlin for his despicable act vs the Ravens.
Fine that moron at least $500K and take away a 3rd round draft pick
from The Steelers at the same time.

Take away a draft pick? Give the Steelers more draft picks. Given their recent track record this would surely be worse than taking away draft picks.

All the same, he has made some good calls so I ask you Rat. Give me the winners to these 3 games. Chicago vs the Cowboys, Seattle vs SF, and The Saints vs the Panthers.
For some reason I thought he was a Raiders fan. I can see why he'd be vague on his team if that's the case.
I think he mentioned that once.
But, who cares. LOL
When you can "pick em" like he can. Who needs a team, right?
And, gets 20 bucks on a win. woohoo!!!!!

Look at Tomlin. Hat in hand.
"It's been shocking to me that my actions could have been perceived or have been perceived in any way as intentional in regard to my action on that play," Tomlin said Tuesday. "I would never do such a thing. I would never consider doing such a thing."
"I can't be in that space and I was, so I take full responsibility for that," Tomlin said. "It's an inexcusable blunder on my part. I understand with my position comes the charge of preserving and protecting the integrity of the game of football, and I think probably my biggest error on Thursday night is not realizing that play jeopardized the integrity of the game from a perception standpoint."

Check out this funny from today's press conference with the Pats.
Out of absolutely nowhere, Bill Belichick took a hilarious shot at the Jets this morning at his initial news conference of Week 14.
Belichick, who coached the Browns from 1991-95, was asked if he still had any affinity for the organization due to his time spent there. After all, it was his first head coaching gig, though it came to a close when the organization moved to Baltimore.
"I was there for five years," Belichick said. "It was five important years in my life, for myself, my family and all that. Obviously, we've all moved on, and I have a job to do here and that's where my loyalty is, is to Robert (Kraft), the Patriots organization and this football team. So it's no different than how I feel, honestly, about the Colts, or the Lions or the Broncos. I feel differently about the Jets. We won't put them in that category.
"Good experiences with all of those teams, and we learned from them, grew as a coach, and as a person and as a family. But we're at a different time and a different place. This is where we are now, so I'll try to make the most out of this one."
Belichick famously quit the Jets in 2000 to take a job with the Patriots, and the two organizations have shared a cold-blooded rivalry for more than two decades. Belichick's dig at the Jets this morning was the latest example. It was clearly a joke, but it was a funny shot nonetheless.

I didn't see the post. Anyway, one post compared to the numerous posts earlier this season is similar to vanishing. I bet he will still deny the friction between
the QB and the head coach to this day???
You're right, OU quarterbacks don't translate very well in the NFL.
Landry Jones hasn't even played this year or has he? I see he has no stats according to the Steelers site. The kid is a rookie and backing up a potential HOF QB.
Give the kid a break and judge him based on how he plays on the field and not how he looks with a clipboard in his hands.

Do you have a 5" monitor? That logo was not that big. I complained about Reid for a single game dude. He made some shitty decisions. It happens. You won like 2 games last season, have some fucking gratitude.
"boo fucking hoo we are 9-3"
Christ! Some of you motherfuckers don't know how good you have it. And you don't even have the Indian-name-change police on your asses either! You got it made!
No one has to remind me how bad KC was and how well it's gone this year. I'm not complaining, too much. The Chiefs were up 21-7 against Denver last week AT HOME. If they would have run the ball more and stop trying to pass to WRs dropping balls all over the place, they should have won, in first place, and positioned to win the division and be home for the playoffs. So, yeah, I was agitated after the loss.

I think I'll judge him due to the fact I live in Soonerville and have seen every game he played while he was here.
The talk around here before it got close to being elgible for the NFL was that he wanted to return to his hometown and start a new church and be the head preacher in charge.
He should follow that dream just like Timmy should.
I know "head preacher in charge" is not an official title and all I just don't follow all that shit.
As for all the records he set while here OU never played pass the ball before Bob Stoops arrived so his records aren't all that earth shattering and then you factor in how he always fucked up when shit was important and you more or less have a Tony Romo v 2.0.
Maybe now I can see why you want to stick up for him.

I'm just bustin your balls I haven't been on here in awhile, just wanted to get my sea legs going again.

Re: The NFL Thread
Richardson was benched last weekend.
The guy will be out of the league within 4 years due to lack
of productivity.
To date his career stats are not impressive. The Browns made the trade of the year when they unloaded him to The Colts
Colts running back Trent Richardson was humbled when he ran onto the field as a backup in the first quarter against the Tennessee Titans last weekend.
That was the first time since his sophomore year at Alabama that Richardson wasn't his team's starting running back.
I learned about myself Sunday, how humbling it was. I have to step up. I have to make sure I'm doing my job.
Richardson, acquired by the Colts from the Cleveland Browns for a first-round draft pick in September, was benched in favor of Donald Brown against the Titans because of a lack of production.
Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 draft, isn't blaming others for his demotion.
Not coach Chuck Pagano. Not the offensive line. Not quarterback Andrew Luck. Not offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton.
Richardson blames only himself.
"It was different when I went out there Sunday," he said. "It was kind of like this is a place in your life where you have to learn and really see the offense and how things flow. I learned about myself Sunday, how humbling it was. I have to step up. I have to make sure I'm doing my job."

Drafting a running back in the first round is stupid.
Trading a 1st round pick for a running back is stupid.
For every Adrian Peterson there about 50 Alfred Morrises available in the 3rd round or later.

It's a bad time to be a running back. If you make it through your rookie deal, there won't be a big, Chris Johnson contract waiting for you. They'll just draft another one (if they already haven't). I guess that's what happens when you handcuff defensive backs, and make it a total passing league.Crazy Levi wrote:Drafting a running back in the first round is stupid.
