Didn't think the shit could get any better but maybe with ARod decision to sue today, we are one step closer to getting the information.
They have to. Court records except in the case of National Security are public. Unless that changed when GW overturned the Freedom Of Information Act.

Selig, Cashman, Levine, Arod, Manny, Bosch, Georgie Peorgie's retarded trustafarians and the other players involved are about to be slaughtered in the public's eyes. I think someone's career is about to be over.

Hoping that Bud Selig's career will be over sooner vs later. This case is his baby. His legacy is on the line and Bud will go to any lengths(including lying) in order to get his man.(AROD)

Horowitz wrote the following in his ruling:
Length of the suspension is unprecedented, but so is the misconduct.

Does this arbitrator understand the game of baseball was being played long before these alleged allegations by ARod?
What Horowitz wrote leads me to think that in the history of the game there has been no other player that has used PED's as much as ARod has.

Fuck Aroid and his little pin prick! Can't wait till it's all done and over with except for the laughing.

Aroid is the biggest disgrace in sports and the day his camp runs out of appeals and avenues to weasel around will be a great day. When Aroid raises the white flag the baseball world should celebrate, put it on the calendar as the end of the asshole era.

The Weasel should be his nickname.

Fuck off.
Bud Selig pussed out by not testifying against the accused(ARod).

So why does Bud get a pass? Because he didn't take a PED.
He did not but he certainly was aware that PED's were in use in the 90's and he turned a blind eye. For the $$$$$

20 years later, a few years before he retires, Bud is on a mission to clean up the game.
Yet those 10+ players in the BioGenesis case all DID NOT fail a drug test.
How is that cleaning up of the game working out for Bud?

Bonds and Clemens beat the Feds.

Emphasis turns to ARod & MLB went to any lengths to make sure they took him down and hard.
do you realize how painfully stupid your posts are? I guess having a six pages and counting thread highlighting your idiocy hasn't sunk in yet for whatever reason. Trust when I say we are laughing at you, not with you.

I so hope he does tour all 30 ballparks. I except him to receive a lot of boo birds and the tour will go from being available to t.v. media to closed door sessions with no t.v. access

Though many people in his sport are still skeptical, baseball commissioner Bud Selig told ESPN.com he is "100 percent" committed to retiring in a year and that he hopes to visit all 30 parks in his final season.

On the eve of baseball's quarterly owners meetings, and as he begins what he says will be his final year in office, Selig was adamant that, despite previous instances in which he said he'd retire but stayed on, this time there is no turning back.

"It's 100 percent," said Selig, who will turn 80 in July. "This is definitely it. I'm more comfortable today than I was when I [announced] it in October, if that's possible. Jan. 24, 2015, is it. And I'm very comfortable with that. I'm done."

In fact, Selig said, he would like to spend his last year as commissioner on a Mariano Rivera-type tour of all 30 major league parks, speaking not with baseball dignitaries but with fans and people who work in his sport behind the scenes.

"I want to talk to season-ticket holders and fans," he said. "I've got a lot of people to thank."

Goes to show you how out of the touch Bud Selig is.

There he goes wrapping up the PED era in a nice bow with a victory over ARod. Now he wants to believe he can ride off into the sunset via a 30 ballpark tour.
Does he think he has the same amount of class as Mariano Rivera?

John Buck signs a 1/1m deal with Seattle.

For that price and that many years I love the signing for a backup. Keep in mind they were playing Eric Wedge hero Miguel Olivo 3.2m. I think the Sreamer projections for him are highly inaccurate and envision him being an under the radar kind of signing.

Crazy thing about Z and the M's this offseason for the first time since he took over ( where I was going around thinking he's the next Beane or Friedman ), I think the moves made are pretty awesome. Maybe it was all the team Pres.'s ( Armstrong ) fault. Since there's an overhaul with he and the CEO they're making brilliant moves.

This could be the season where they finally reap the benefits of the rebuild. They'll be scary good soon.

Seattle avoids arb. with Micheal Saunders on 2.3m deal + incentives. Hopefully the incentives include his UZR....which I realize is damn near impossible to put in a deal, much less collectively calculate.

Breaking news
Kershaw and LAD agree to 7\125m deal.

I hate the guy too but I hope he continues to play. This whole witch hunt after him is strictly to give the Yankees financial flexibility. Fuck them and Selig make them pay up. They've been fucking baseball for years and deserve a taste of their own medicine.

MLBPA and the Umpire's Union officially approve instant replay for 2014. Managers will have two challenges.

As a baseball purist I'm in agreement. Everytime I see the Jeter/Maier (sp?) homerun I think this brings us one step closer to the NBA.

Supposably ( the same people that broke the news of the Darvish signing ) the West Coast Yankees announce tommorrow Tanaka 6/120.

This will push their payroll to 312.2m. Jesus.

26 and counting.

*edit*

CC Sabbathia officially signs with Jay Z's Roc-A-Cock Sports.

not guarantee a WS win.

The page disappeared about two hours after I posted it. Sucks, because the people that broke the "news" have been pretty accurate and I thought for sure they would be again.

I do know that he and his wife prefer the west coast especially with it's distance to Japan. Plus his wife is a pretty big celebrity over there so Hollywood sounds like where she'd want to be. Tanaka did say that she has the final decision so these reports that the Cubs are gonna be a huge factor are erroneous IMO.

I hope you get another curse. In fact as of right now I'm imposing a curse onto the Boston RedSox, their fan's heads have inflated to blimp size since 2007 & 2013. They've bought their rings now it's time to go thirsty, to remember what it was like to be humble. The curse of arrogance is upon the Sox, let the drought begin!

4 more days till Tanaka signs somewhere!

I get updates daily.....that report nothing we don't already know.
1. He's going to make a lot of money.
2. Some teams want to sign him badly.
3. Some teams need to sign him badly.
4. One team will blow everyone away.
5. The team that does might be an underdog no one saw coming.

Being a sportswriter has got to be pretty easy.
