This. Being born in the 70's all I ever heard about was how Dallas was "America's Team" and that Tom Landry was the greatest coach ever. However, my memory is of Danny White not being able to win playoff games and Tom Landry losing games with guys like Gary Hogeboom and Steve Pelluer until he was ran out of town.

Not sure if you took a break today from your day job as Redskins News Reporter but you might have been interested in the Cowboys game.

They got embarrassed - again - on a national stage and clearly showed they suck and will not be going to the playoffs - again - this season.

Man they fuckin suck. Another 8-8 season from those chumps with another Defeat to the Eagles on the horizon - not to mention yet another beat down coming from Colt McCoy and company.

Might want to worry less about RG3 and more about the Cowboys' shitty defense, but hey it's a free country.

According to ESPN.com if the playoffs started today the Cowboys don't make it in.

The year they won it with Rypien he played as well as any quarterback had played up to that point. He had to have made some kind of deal with the devil. Although throwing to Sanders, Clark, and Monk never hurt.

Rypien didn't impress me one bit in Cleveland when he couldn't steal the starting job from Vinny Testaverde....that was a few years down the pike though.

And this is coming from a Browns fan, so remember, he wasn't exactly "loved" here in the 90s. I have little doubt that Belichick would've won that first Super Bowl with Drew Bledsoe at the helm - that team was stacked.

Why? It wasn't his fault Modell moved the team, Belichick probably would have gotten the Browns their first Super Bowl if it wasn't for Modell.

In hindsight, it would appear so. I didn't say I hated Belichick, but the fanbase never really forgave him for cutting Bernie Kosar in favor of Vinny Testaverde. THe biggest problem with that move was the Vinny was actually hurt at the time so Bernie was cut in favor of...Todd Philcox....until Vinny was ready. Also, that 1995 team was already spiraling out of control long before the announcement was made that Modell was moving. Belichick went back to work for Parcells for a few years for good reason. I'd say he "cut his teeth" in Cleveland.

I'm rooting for the Colt McCoy led Redskins to pull out a victory just to put another nail in the RG3 in Washington storyline.

I've also found another way to be thankfull for Thanksgiving today. The Cowboys won't be fucking up my TV schedule when there's a much better game to be watched.

That's a tough thing. It's hard to believe they were Super Bowl contenders in recent years. It's also kind of funny that Mark Sanchez has more wins as a QB than the Jets do as a team. Maybe they'll make a run at him in the offseason.
