Then there was one tour I flew overseas and did a ten day tour and made less than $2,000. I made less than $500 a show. The video games are getting worse - guys used to get paid up to $100,000 for being in the video game and now it's much, much less. The reading audience will think that's a lot of money, but when you're on the road it's not. We don't all have busses like John and Punk and Show. You're breaking your body to barely pay the bills."

I get the impression that Punk is someone that's really sensitive . Landsberg did a bunch of interviews with wrestlers during and after the Monday Night Wars which are really good if you have a chance to check 'em out on Youtube. He can be very irritating at times but he asks good questions.
Just more from the whining bitch , Punk.. His name is fitting..
He's starting to get on my nerves too. I mean WTF you're going to wrestle Triple H at Wrestlemania and you feel that's beneath you somehow.
Was he pissed that it was going to be Daniel Bryan's night?
AJ isn't any better with all her shit talking on the mic, got news for you honey it's all a work. And with her getting that tattoo on her neck when she one her first title She's a bigger mark than most fans.

Yeah I'm actually watching wwe again for the first time in years, it seems much better than a few years ago, plus they have sting now, and the roster seems chill, they do need an x division though. Tna has been my main fed since wcw folded, but decided to try wwe again cause of all the dumb shit tna has done over the last year or so, and they let s lot of their best talent go.I watch roh sometimes also, and lucha underground. The last couple weeks I watched some fed called championship wrestling of Hollywood. Lol it's an Indy fed basically but the episode tonight had xpac, jake the snake,Joey Ryan, and Matt Stryker. It looked like xpac injured his knee. It must suck doing these type of shows after being a big name in the big time Feds. Anyone seen this shit? Lol I used to go to Indy Feds around my area like 10-15 years ago, omega is doing shows again I may go check that out soon. I miss wcw/nwa!

They REALLY should've pulled the trigger on him cashing in on Brock at Night of Champions. Dude is killing it right now and they better be thanking their lucky stars that they have him to keep things afloat while Brock isn't there.
Out of all three of the Shield, there's no doubt that he's the most ready for the title right now. I think Ambrose is great, but something is just not clicking and I can't put my finger on it. As for Roman Reigns, it might be wishful thinking, but if they absolutely must give the title to him at WM, I hope Rollins cashes in on him that very second and takes it from him.
I'm really liking Seth as the # 1 heel right now too. And I really like how they brought Mercury and Noble back as his security. They remind me of Vince's stooges Patterson and Briscoe from awhile back.
The last time I saw Noble he was putting on one of the best sell jobs I've ever seen as he wrestled for the last time against a debuting Sheamus.
Listen to him around the 2:15 mark the way he moans cracks me up.
why the hate for brock? he's a draw. a special event. i like the way he's being used.
same with undertaker.
back in the nwa days they did that with flair. awa did it with bockwinckle.
the champs worked other territories. they weren't on tv every week.

I like him when he's there, but whole pay per views without the champ?!
I feel the same way. I actually liked the fact that they gave him the title in the beginning, because I thought he might actually agree to work more dates and actually BE the champion. But I was wrong. He won the thing and has been on tv maybe 2-3 times since September. It just shows that their title isn't even really needed. Sure it wasn't like it is now back in the day when it got defended just on PPVs. At least you knew it would be defended or the champion would be there in some form.

For one, There are other wrestlers busting ass and drawing, that deserve the belt more than that hack.
Undertaker isn't holding onto the belt with the deal he's got.
Plus, it wouldn't matter.. There is no comparison between Taker and Brock. None. The fact that he jobbed to Brock in the first place makes me sick..

an all american amateur wrestler and a world champion in mma AND wwe is a hack?
brock draws more people then ANYONE in wwe right now. so does the rock. they're elite performers outside of wwe. brock isn't david arquette.
should he be at more events? yeah he should. he should be at every ppv and the last raw leading up to it.
the number of ppvs is an issue. there should be 6. have brock do thee weeks of raw leading up to the ppvs.

Still, horrible as a WWE wrestler.. And, football player.
I totally agree with way too many PPV's.. Also liked RAW when it was 90 mins, but, oh well...
He has the belt, he should defend.. WWE is still massive without Brock. They don't need his non-talkin character very couple of times at a RAW before a PPV.. He should be defending, or at least wrestling, being part of the storyline more. But, it's his contract that he wanted that gives him this deal. Which, is bullshit to me. WWE doesn't need Brock. I do like Paul Heyman though. Always a good time with that dude. Probably draws just as much fans as Brock does.
Someone needs to sign othello from championship wrestling of Hollywood lol

Any of you peeps ordering the Global Force/NJPW PPV tomorrow night? I'm curious as to how the presentation is going to look along with JR and Matt Striker calling the matches. Sounds like ticket sales are in the 40,000 to 50,000 range for the show.

I know exactly who you're talking about. That guy is HUGE. Easily as tall as Big Show. Speaking of that fed, it's a shame that Willie Mack's developmental deal fell through. From what I've seen of him, he's really good.

I'm VERY intrigued by this. If it wasn't so late at night/early morning, I'd order for sure. I might just avoid reading about it and download it off a torrent site early next week.

Should be a solid show, perhaps best of the year.
got home late from hockey. only caught the last two matches. both were the best shit i've seen in years. they work STIFF
First Monday Night Raw of the new year and it fucking sucked. The only thing good about it was the Ambrose vs. Wyatt match. You know it is bad when the crowd does not react during the last segment.

I give you credit for loyalty. I gave up a while ago.
Check it the Global Force/New Japan PPV replay when you have a chance. Fucking amazing show, hard hitting action, monster crowd. Completely blew anything the WWE has done ring wise in 10 years.
