Refs (correctly) overturn Dez Bryant's incredible catch
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/1/11/7 ... ible-catch
"When the ground causes a receiver to lose possession before he's made a "football move," by rule, he hasn't completed the process of the catch. Thus, it's an incompletion."

It's in his hands, it's in his hands again, it's off his pads, it's in one hand, it bounces off the turf.......He never had control.
It was an IN....COMPLETION! From the replay in that link it's clear it's not even close....Hell of an effort but not even close so pull your balls out of your vagina and take it like a man.

TRU FAN? You don't even fucking know if it was a bad call or rule when the truth is that Hail Mary wasn't a catch so enjoy hiding out for the rest of the season.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4:30 left on the clock.....4th and 2......And you go for a jump ball from the Packer 32yd line? Good call!

Been running the ball all day but you call a Hail Mary for 2 yards. Might as well kicked the FG and made it a 2 point game with 4:00+ left. I surely wouldn't haven't went for a jump ball, Dez was contained all game. Run it up the gut, a crossing route, play action to Witten? and QB Keeper or bootleg? All they needed was 2 yards. The O-Line was pushing them around and they call a bomb on 4th 2 with 4 minutes left. Did Jones call that in?

It's 4th n 2 with 4:30, pretend to be a coach. First down is priority one, why go big and score only to leave Rodgers 4 minutes to drive the field for the win?

Fuck the incompletion, stop making pussy excuses and talk about the stupid play calling.

There can truly be no one as stupid as machado on these boards. And now you come across as a lil girl with your name calling after Dallas lost the game. Last week whatever Dean Blandino had to say was the gospel this week not so much.

I don't know why I should be surprised all I have to do is look at your recent reactions on here to know you are the king of tards.

# 1 - Let's see there's a poll where about 95% of the people who responded said you were a dumbass. Your reaction to that is to say that's not truly reflective of how I am and all the votes against me are B.S.

# 2 - I really loved this one and I believe it might of been the first time I finally noticed how much of a tard you really are. You criticize Caroline saying she couldn't even spell James Gandolfini that you yourself butchered trying to spell and all this before Caroline even tried to spell his name. Your reaction to posters pointing that you fucked up spelling his name, "oh great here comes the spelling police".

That one really got me I mean how can you be so stupid to get on to people criticizing your spelling from a post where you were criticizing Caroline for her spelling :?: that just defied all logic.

# 3 - You tried to
SELL FREE CD'S to people on here who responded to your thread where you said you were giving away CD's.

I could go on but I think you get my point. Yeah right you're too stupid to even understand your Cowboys lost fair and square yesterday. Enjoy the off-season you big dummy.

They truly might be, especially in their division............But I had to laugh because every season I hear some machado Cowboy fanatic say Dallas's motto, NEXT YEAR WILL BE THE YEAR!

Come August, THIS IS THE YEAR! It's this year or never! This is our last chance!

I have never said that. I never said in the mid 90's either.. Everything changes every year.. I do hear dumbasses say it all the time now.. They are worse than Raiders and skin fans.. LOL..

"Their" Division. Look man, they can't change what division they are in or how the other teams in that division play..LOL.. They just have to win.

The 80's Niners benefitted HIGHLY from coming from a shitty division as well.. Almost guaranteed wins for them a lot of the times back then, in that division.

Anyhow...

I just hope that the FO doesn't do like they have done in the past and just sign overpriced, overplayed, overhyped old players like they have done in the past because of the reason " This is our Last chance!" It's not, Romo has possibly two years left of maybe decent ball. Maybe. They need to get a young QB in there now and get him ready. Hard to do, but, time to start.

And, work on the defense. More youth on defense, so they can be a mainstay in a few years when the QB does get groomed..

Do it like the Packers did with Rodgers. If possible.

Belichick schooled Harbaugh. Deception! He cheated! Suck it Ravens -- can't believe the whining. The Evil Emperor is the best coach in the NFL - NO CONTEST.

Seahawks look unstoppable. I actually think Dallas could have given them a stronger game than Green Bay -- a hobbled Rodgers will be like a limping gazelle for the Seahawks. And I'd take Dallas' offensive line and running game over Green Bay's. That said, the pain caused to Machado, and the glorious, karmic retribution way it came -- via the officials! -- well outweighs any interest I have in seeing someone new from the NFC in the superbowl.

Manning looked truly terrible. I don't get it. It has to be an injury, right? That kind of sudden drop-off doesn't make sense. It wasn't the typical Manning playoff meltown, with bad decisions and interceptions. It was terrible inaccuracy -- on both short, and, particularly, long balls? He might be done, especially if Denver overhauls the team. I would think, however, that Elway, will try to mortgage one more year and overpay the Thomases and keep Manning's brutal cap hit one more year to see if they can pull it off. The team will then be in cap hell for 2016.....

Patriots should beat Colts. Seahawks should beat Green Bay. My Patriots/ Seahawks superbowl prediction comes true.

Two observations:
No matter where you stand on the Dez Bryant call - the play call sucked and you have to wonder what the hell the coach was thinking. If the Cowboys scored, that was too much time on the clock for Rodgers. Plus, Seattle would break Tony Romo in half and the Cowboys would've been stuck with Brandon Weeden.
Secondly, why was John Harbaugh crying around about Belichick's genius ineligible receiver calls? Like the drop kick to end Flutie's career - it just shows the Belichick knows the rule book and the history of the league better than anyone ever. Suck it up Harbaugh.

Didn't notice that.

So Romo DID fuck it up then, didn't he? Not much difference between that - forgoing the easy 1st down for some retarded all-or-nothing deep toss to Bryant - and throwing a game-ending INT.

Machado is a fucking moron by the way, just thought I'd say that.

I'm glad that the thing you take away from this season is that Romo wasn't the one to blow it. Put him in Canton!

Romo had a great season. But at the end of the day Dallas won a weak division, got bailed out by a call in the wild card round, and then fumbled and bumbled the game away today. But hey, your team made the playoffs, the two teams I follow didn't. Enjoy it and fjack off Machado.
Not a sore loser at all. If you anything about the game then this might be a good convo. I learned long ago your forte is sucking cocks and not talking football in the locker room.
All year the haters were waiting for Romo to giveaway the big game and Romo never did. I know that just burns your ass. Sorry!
A weak division-There we go again with the ready made excuses. Always finding a reason to bitch and moan.
You are wrong-The NFC east was not as weak as you think. Then again there is a QB named RG 0-13 so that does not help.
:D
Machado, I've forgotten more about football than you'll ever know. Last time I really took the time to talk football here it was to completely school your dumb ass on the correlation between quarterbacks drafted in the first round and winning Super Bowls. I made you my bitch on that one. Pick the subject, Pedro. I'll make sure to make it painful.

Naw, I don't think it was a fuck up either way. He was also looking at Dez like a rook QB the whole play. Everyone in the stadium knew where he was throwing that to Dez. .

There were plenty other plays that hurt the Cowboys during this game. Romo's fuck up all year is that he is holding the ball too long. This is good INT wise, but, not good on other plays , when there was a play there, but, he takes the sack instead. It seems he was more concerned about INTs than making a play. Once again, good and bad.

But, as I stated before. THIS play they called on 4 and 2 was fine by me. Worked before. Not upset about that.. Didn't change the game. Defense still had a chance to get the offense back the ball. Green Bay played balls out in the 2nd half. Dallas didn't do much.. Like last week, Lions didn't do much in the 2nd half, Dallas did, made the plays, won the game. Pretty simple.Guess I could be like butt hurt Detroit fans over one call. (which was wrong to overturn, but, should of been defensive holding. ). Course, that play was on 3rd down. They decided to punt , count on their defense.

Plays that changed the game?

Demarco fumbling on what looked like a sure TD.. Ouch.. That would of been huge. Total momentum changer.
Romo fucking changing the play on a 3rd and 2, going to shotgun and taking a fucking sack.
Bailey being shit in the playoffs doesn't help either. LOL.
The "old" Dallas seemed to creep back in on offense in the 2nd half too. Got away from the run a little. I know Romo only threw 19 times or so in the game. But, I still don't like seeing 3 straight pass attempts, with a lead. In Lambeau.

Green Bay sacked up and beat em. Straight up.

Anyone who elevates himself to the status of "NFL Head Coach" will get 2 chances 99% of the time. Rich Kotite would be a prime example of one who didn't. Why would Rex Ryan get another job? Great coordinator, legendary family line, two AFC Championship games. Imagine if Pete Carrol didn't get his THIRD chance or if the Patriot's never hired Belichick. Both were considered busts as NFL headcoaches, btw.

Well, that's why I'm asking. I'm a college fan so when I ask this question, I'm sincerely asking...not being a smart ass. Just seems to me that Ryan has done very little at New York.

We all knew that was coming. He'll land on his feet, but he's no spring chicken. One last gig somewhere. 5 years and he'll be off to the retirement home. Interesting that he was able to eek out an above .500 percentage in Carolina with guys like Delhomme, Testaverde, and Peete behind center. Then he was given Peyton Manning, the wins soared but he couldn't win games when they counted. Very "Marvin Lewisy." Third time will determine his legacy.

Actually, college and high school function very much the same. 99% of jobs posted at any of these three levels almost always reads "previous head coaching experience preferred." Coaching a NFL team is something that only a NFL head coach knows and when a team changes coaches they often prefer to not have a rookie at the helm. Rex Ryan's record with the Jets is generally looked at positively amongst his peers when you consider what he has had to work with. See, Crennel, Romeo A., Cleveland.

there was nothing wrong with throwing to Dez on 4th down. if Romo went elsewhere you bitches would have written why he refused to throw to Dez.
the rule needs to be changed. most t.v. experts who get paid seem to think that Dez made the catch and that the rule was incorrect.
only a fucking moron would question why Romo would throw the ball to the best receiver on the field.
its ok for all of you to HATE Dallas. i guess right now that is trendy. just like most things around here, there are followers. weak individuals who are unable to form their own opinion.
