Brady - Best ever
With 4 titles, and the stats, there's no doubt, especially when you consider that he never had the weapons that Montana did.

I agree. He also went past Cool Joe for all time touchdown leader in the SB

Agreed, while all things are argumentative some fool will say he's nothing without belichick. Go down the list and start with Bill Walsh and Montana. Brady is the one on the field throwing the ball, fuck the coaching, Brady never choked dicks in the post season, even during his losses.
Never had a consistent set of receivers or Rb's. He always bounced back from bad throws and like tonight, he came alive in the 4th with two TD's on his last two drives to win the game vs the best Defense in football.
He's got my vote.

Fuck that. They scored more points after they changed balls, and blew the Colts out.
Im a die hard Bears fan, but I recognize greatness when I see it.

I'm not a Pat's fan either but he's the best of this generation. Well, Brady and Romo.

Now it's a holy trinity with Tom Brady joining Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana.
Montana: 4 Super Bowl titles, 3 MVPs.
Brady: 4 Super Bowl titles, 3 MVPs
Bradshaw: 4 Super Bowl titles, 2 MVPs
Montana: 4 Super Bowl titles, 3 MVPs.
Brady: 4 Super Bowl titles, 3 MVPs
Bradshaw: 4 Super Bowl titles, 2 MVPs

Brady is among the best ever but I will not declare he is the best ever right now.
2 SB losses has to count for something. I guess if he wins that 5th title he can have the title
as best ever.

People get too hung up on titles as the be all and end all. Yeah, he lost two, but he's got to six super bowls. Six!Machado wrote:3 words & 3 syllables. Nice average PUTO!LouDoo wrote:Machado wrote:Brady is among the best ever but I will not declare he is the best ever right now.

Regardless, while I don't think it's possible to objectively state who is best, Brady is certainly in the small group where I can't fault anyone for saying he might be.

Again, I go back to the fact that he's had no one around him, other than the Moss year, and look at his numbers that year. Had he had weapons like Rice, just imagine what he'd have accomplished.

Re: Brady - Best ever
He's 0-2 against Eli Manning in the Superbowl. He's certainly among the best and is certainly the best of his era. But to give him that title outright is shenanigans.

Re: Brady - Best ever
Yep.. No argument here.
There isn't one to be made..
Unless the butthurt bitches come out with." Oh, he's a cheater".. Blah blah blah..
He's the best ever, hands down.

Re: Brady - Best ever
He's definitely in the conversation as best ever.
I still have a hard time putting him over Montana, but it's very close.
As other mentioned, Brady hasn't had nearly the same weapons and has sustained it for a longer time than Montana.

He is shit without his OL which no one ever mentions. Put him in Baltimore or Pittsburgh with what Flacco and Ben have to deal with and Brady's not even in the league now.

2 more TD's in 2 more appearences, I agree with RB, Brady is the best of his era, Montana has never been involved in any kind of "cheating" scandals either, unfair or not When the penalties come down on the patriots yet again people are going to pile on again and that's gonna effect the legacies of BB and Brady.Pierce Foreskin wrote: 4 to zero.

The "cheaters" thing is only going to affect the legacy on BB and Brady for football morons who are looking for any excuse because they hate these guys no matter what.
Anyone with even a borderline football IQ would be forced to recognize that this run they are on is amazing and is based on great preparation, great coaching, and great execution. Cunts or not, they out-prepare, out-coach, and out-execute the majority of the teams they face -- except for the NY Giants!

I have trouble picking a qb from this era because they protect the qbs too much, and the rules are geared to favor the offense and most definitely the passing game.

Deflategate is a joke and all it does is add to the Pats legacy, not detract from it. It's just another part of the myth.veritas wrote: The "cheaters" thing is only going to affect the legacy on BB and Brady for football morons who are looking for any excuse because they hate these guys no matter what.
Haters gonna hate but when the dust clears people who cling to deflategate and the like when trying to denigrate the Pats' legacy are gonna look like incredibly pretty bitches.
Who can I think of who fits that description...I don't remember but I'll never surrender in trying...
