Story out there that Romo told Brady after the game that he'd see him in February.
My sources tell me Brady asked "Did you score some good seats?"

What's the issue, I haven't seen much but it seems like Line issues on the D side. Looks like turn overs killed them tonight.
I wished HBO Hard Knocks did the Falcons this year and not the Texans.
Now the Panthers get to meet a Seattle team that's pulling it together but still needs work. That game should show what both teams have.

Sure Falcons will bounce back. The smokescreen of actually being good is over the Saints right now. They are not.

In regards to Romo and his I'm going to win the SB this year talk that he's been blathering about since the off-season does he not realize in order to win the SB you must win a min. of 3 postseason games to be champ?
He hasn't won 3 postseason games in his whole career and without the refs extending that one drive last year against Detroit he wouldn't even of won that game.
STFU Romo before last year everybody always knew you would always find a way to lose big games. And in a way he's the one to blame for the GB playoff loss last year.
Fuck all you Cowboy fans you fuckers are the worst.

While the refs missing that call in Detroit.. Detroit still had three or four drives after that where they did jackshit..
Romo shouldn't of thrown that ball to Dez on 4th down in GB. Had an open Beasley that would of got the first down. But, shit happens when ya party naked.

Dallas vs GB. I have not thought of that particular game since the reg season began. Old news. Turn the page.
Fans and non fans know the stats. Romo has yet to win the final game of the season and has only won 2 playoff games.

Manziel, girlfriend questioned by police after incident'
The Cleveland Browns quarterback and his girlfriend were questioned by police in Avon, Ohio, on Monday after they were involved in a roadside domestic incident. Police said alcohol was involved, but no arrests were made.
According to the police report, a witness called authorities after witnessing Manziel's white Nissan pass her on the side of the road at an estimated speed of 90 miles per hour. The witness said she could tell Manziel and the woman, identified as a TCU student named Colleen Crowley, were in an argument and that Crowley had tried to exit the car while it was moving.
According to the report, Crowley wanted to call her parents, but Manziel would not give up possession of her phone. Crowley responded by throwing Manziel's wallet out the window. Manziel pulled the car into a nearby neighborhood, where the couple continued to argue. A second witness then called police.

If there is anyone I want to see fall off the map it's Manziel. It's nice what you can get away with when you can throw a ball or run fast. Speaking of which, speaking of assholes, the fucking Cowboys and EX-Cowboys jumping to defend the woman beater after one game...A game they lost....

Michael Irvin: If you’re a good enough player, no one cares what kind of person you are. Cowboys should sign Greg Hardy to a long-term deal now
“I know a lot of people are mad at this dude, but I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is the first game.' To come back in the first game and do what that dude did, that was crazy,” Irvin said during an appearance on CBS Sports Radio's 105.3 The Fan.
Hardy had two sacks, a forced fumble and five tackles in Sunday's loss, production made all the more impressive given that he last played an NFL game in September 2014.
“I'm sorry everybody and I don't want to be insensitive, but while everybody's mad about the [rap] video, we should sign him to a long-term deal now,” Irvin continued. “It was so impressive to see that, it was mind-boggling impressive.”
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foo ... m-deal-now
So is it ok to walk up to Michael Irvin and punch him in the fucking face just because I played football? If there's anyone who should defend a woman beater, well Irvin knows all about being a abusive douche in the NFL.

Jerry Jones defends Greg Hardy: 5 bizarre answers from Dallas' owner...
Sometimes it's best just not to talk. And sometimes people can't follow that rule. The Cowboys, leading up to their Week 5 game against the Patriots, which will feature the debut of Greg Hardy, are a great example.
Hardy made an incredibly ill-advised statement earlier in the week pointing out he's going to be coming out "guns blazing" (Hardy was suspended for an incident where he allegedly threw his ex-girlfriend on a couch full of guns).
Jerry Jones was surprised by the statement (as he should be) but circled back on a 105.3 The Fan appearance Friday to defend Hardy. In typical Jones fashion, the interview was lengthy and somewhat rambling.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foo ... boys-owner
No shocker here, Jones running his mouth and defending a woman beater after a LOSS. Instead of backing Hardy up, keeping him out of the media and focusing on getting a WIN let's keep the fire warm on a douche bag with abuse issues.
"Souls for sale in Dallas, AT&T must be delighted everytime Jerry steps up to the microphone in front of their backdrop curtain. Another wholesome message from America’s Team."
-------------------------------------
MORE DALLAS COWBOYS......
Anyone see Hardy's Video? Who would sign this ass clown, well of course the Cowboys would but at least it's a contract over games played because I'm sure it wont be long before he fucks up again. Dallas wouldn't matter if the Cowboy's had a all woman beating fuckheaded monster defense.
http://www.tmz.com/2015/10/10/greg-hard ... uspension/
Embattled NFL star Greg Hardy -- the guy who was suspended for allegedly beating up his girlfriend -- is bragging that he'll never get "played" by a woman ever again.
And he's making his point with the use of a stripper, gunfire sound effects and marijuana imagery in a rap video obtained by TMZ Sports.
We've learned ... the Dallas Cowboys defensive end made the video for "I'm Just Me" in late 2014 -- after he was convicted of beating up his GF, throwing her on a bed covered in assault rifles and threatening to kill her.
Hardy appealed the case -- and his conviction was overturned in 2015 after the alleged victim refused to testify against him in court.
But during his time in NFL purgatory (he missed most of the 2014 season) Hardy hooked up with rapper Ja Alan to make a video in which Hardy declares to his critics, "What you see is what you get. I'm just me, I'm just real, and that's what I do."
Ja confirms the video was made in late 2014.
Right before Hardy spits his featured verse, a chorus of gunfire rings out. He then raps about women -- saying, "It'll be a cold day in hell before your girl tries to play me."
Interesting, considering Hardy's been under fire this week for several comments he made in which he objectified women (Gisele) and seemingly mocked his own court case by saying he plans to come out "guns blazing" when he returns to the field this week.
If Hardy was planning to fix his image -- this video sure as hell ain't gonna help.
We called Hardy for comment -- so far, no word back.

Double standards in pro sports exist. Some players get a second

chances and they still do not learn.
Right now Hardy is on his second chance and maybe his last. The way he played vs NE, it looks like he can be a force on the D-Line.

a shot at the Cowboys. Hardy is getting a 2nd chance. I never condoned what he did but I believe the NFL and any organization will due their due
diligence before signing a player. And that means the player gets a 2nd chance. If you had half a brain you would already understand that a double standard exists.
Great players get chances
Below average players never get a 2nd chance.

A lot of close games today and OT games.
Saw the end of the Lions vs Bears. Stafford really does suck but
his team will escaped with a W. I blame the very conservative
Bears play calling in OT. Attack that weary D and get out of town with a win.
Saw the end of the Broncos vs Browns. Manning was the best QB on the field and that is why they won. McCown looked scared and out of his element late in the game and in OT. He never had a chance to lead his team to a win.
Fun to see Sherman beat by the Panthers TE late in the game. Is anybody shocked the Seahawks are struggling? Those guys are still hungover from the Feb Super Bowl.

Re: The NFL Thread
Seattle - Wilson, the most sacked QB in the league and he's a scrambling squirrel! It don't help that he can't see over his linemen let alone his RB's. But that's what you get when you have a couple "Contract Years" where everyone wants top dollar then you add the renegotiation of Kam Chancellor's.Machado wrote:Fun to see Sherman beat by the Panthers TE late in the game. Everyone keeps saying this shit that players should get everything they can without the DUH factor..........Team's have holes that can't be filled because the top 5 players without thinking of the team and winning Super Bowls suck the cap money from other players.
Kam said straight out, he thought players were going to "Take one for the team" but when everyone starting with Lynch and Russell went for the moon. It somehow made Kam renegotiate in the middle of his contract, some excuse, everyone else is getting more why shouldn't I?
Now Seattle's had a couple back to back contract years to tie up their defensive stars leaving them nothing to add WR's, blocking TE's and OL for Wilson not to mention they have no depth with all the money tied up with 5% of their players.
It was great watching Sherman hold up his hands after Olsen's TD. It's been happening a lot more lately. Aaron Rodgers gave him a bad day....The losing TD was a bit Earl's but a combination with Sherman because they didn't communicate. Sherman should have stuck with Olsen until he was openly released because the underneath pattern was running across the middle. Olsen burned Sherman, Kam and Earl all day. Kam should hold out of camp more often.
It's a good thing they gave the bank to Lynch when can run without him. I so would have let Lynch go, added a WR and beefed up the O-Line.
------------------------------------------
It was a great win for the Panthers but I expect Seattle to pull it together in the 2nd half, make the playoff's and be a force. After the bye they should have it together.

Re: The NFL Thread
Thanks to the refs for screwing the Lions again. Now we have to wait at least another week before someone on that awful coaching staff gets fired.
scarred but smarter
Re: The NFL Thread
Funny, one of my last post's was saying it was a good move Dallas picked up Cassell. I'm also the one who said Dallas would win the division and still think they have a good shot. It's idiot fans like you that make Dallas a laughing stock. If Hardy was on the Pat's you'd be screaming Abuse Gate but since he's a Cowboy it's ok to beat up women and get back on the field.Machado wrote:You hate Dallas and any player on the roster.
Ray Rice is the one doing his time not Greg Hardy. Hardy beat the shit out of a woman and is making $11.3 million this season for Dallas.
Hardy didn't do his fucking time.
He was still playing after being convicted. His 60 day jail sentence was suspended, after being deactivated from the Panthers he still got paid. Then Dallas signs him and his 10 game suspension gets reduced to 4! So fuck off with this Hardy did his time bull shit......Anyone else would be behind. That's not justice or right but you support it.
Hardy knocked a woman on the floor, strangled her with both hands then yanked her around by the hair slamming her against a wall before picking her and tossing her on a bed full of assault rifles all while saying he's going to kill her.
And Hardy gets a 4 game suspension and a 11.3 million dollar contract for that and you think he did his time? That just shows you support a woman beater and Jerry's Cowboys are a joke.
Hardy doing his time was doing a Rap Video mocking it. He's a fucking douche, you defending him just proves how far up his ass you are.
Myself or anyone can put down any player and any team but as soon as Dallas gets mentioned you jump on that cock like a batch of herpes. You're a troll, a pathetic fanatical fan.
Suck on that.
