Philly 76ers, what the hell happened ?
What happened to this once proud franchise? Fuck, they suck and seem clueless on how to get better. Sad, very very sad

Dude is stockpiling draft picks like no tomorrow.

They're up by 5 against the Timberwolves. Which comes first? The Warriors losing a game or Philly winning one?
Re: Philly 76ers, what the hell happened ?
But eventually you have to do something with the picks. The Celtics are in the same boat but at least they're a good team about to get scary good when they cash in the picks.WhiteHouseSubsAC wrote:Dude is stockpiling draft picks like no tomorrow.

Okafor is going to be fantastic. They have some great pieces on that team and seem to play hard for what they have put together.

They also have a fantastic coach in Brad Stevens and Isaiah Thomas on the bench.Gritt wrote:But eventually you have to do something with the picks. True and true. I was skeptical when they hired Stevens because I've seen so many college coaches flop in the NBA but I'm a believer now. The guy is legit. I just hope he sticks around.

He'd better. This roster isn't even fun bad. And they're playing like they don't care.

Hinkie's on his way out the door. Even Adam Silver has had enough of it.

The Sixers are a complete disgrace and the NBA is lucky that the Warriors are so good that it is drawing attention away from their ineptitude.

With Jerry Colangelo in the mix as a *cough* advisor, you can bet this team is going to be very active with stocking some vets onto that roster. These kids are taking a huge ass kicking night after night (outside of the Lakers win). The look on their faces is sad as I'm sure they have all been winners individually since grade school, only to be drafted into this complete shit storm of mismanagement.

They have played some close games too, it hasn't been completely one sided. I think the Colangelo hire is in response to the rumors that agents aren't steering their vets towards Philly and also addresses the fact that Brett Brown (who is going to be re-upped) is being hung out to dry for every facet of the team's failures so far.ParaDime77 wrote:With Jerry Colangelo in the mix as a *cough* advisor, you can bet this team is going to be very active with stocking some vets onto that roster. Re: Philly 76ers, what the hell happened ?
I'm still puzzled why they traded MCW. They were going to go in the shitter regardless of who was running the point. Also puzzling is that the league has been bitching about Hinkie's plan for awhile. Despite their cries, the league voted to not tamper with the lottery system.
Re: Philly 76ers, what the hell happened ?
Hinkie can still save face if he has a great summer next year when it comes to the draft, trades and free agency.Bassmaster1984 wrote:What happened to this once proud franchise? Fuck, they suck and seem clueless on how to get better. Sad, very very sad

Plus their overseas guy Dario Saric says he will definitely be in Philly next year.jetboy wrote:Hinkie can still save face if he has a great summer next year when it comes to the draft, trades and free agency.Bassmaster1984 wrote:What happened to this once proud franchise? This was my team, but haven't watched NBA for years. These clowns are no better off then they were 3 years ago.
