His play time also had to do with being behind Brian Griese for two years and then Drew Henson. Damn, Cowboys O-Line blasted the Bengals D-Line & LB's for 4 quarters. I think the Cowboys rookie RB averaged about 9 yard per carry!
Dak, well he played well again and seemed to make all the right decisions again today. I think my favorite play of the game was
when Dak took the snap, faked the hand off and ran into the end zone. Phil Simms sounded very, very impressed with Dak during the broadcast.

Hey Machado I'll tell you this about your Cowboys and believe me when I say I don't like doing this.
Dak Prescott looks to be the real deal. The way he's been playing you wouldn't think he's just a rookie.
If they take him off the field whenever Romo is good to go, well I'd like to see that but I want the Cowboys to fail.

I am looking for something that is not there but it appears to me that he has a lot of poise for a rookie. I think the
other kid in Philly might posses the very same.
5 games does not make a season. 5 games does not make a career. When and if Romo is healthy and ready to play
I hope the team is winning because choosing which QB to take the field would be a very good problem to have.

Re: The NFL Thread
Cowboys have it easy but they're solid so far and Dank's poised. He can't throw TD's and their all-pro line is giving him time but most importantly he's not making the Romo mistakes. I said they have a decent team, we'll see if they've they start folding in the 2nd half or when the D starts breaking down, Lee's over due for a trip to the IR. Until then, Dallas might have the division edge.
Solid win for Washington. Sour loss for the Eagles.
Cincy on the other hand, I questioned them going into the season, first they then let their WR's tandem Jones and Sanu walk then they didn't make any moves in the FA market to beef up or add depth. Either way, I had a feeling Cincy wasn't going to be the same strong team this season, it's only 5 games but losing to Dallas was a flop.
Dalton will have some big games but as a team they've dropped down the power rankings IMO.
------------------------------------------
Raiders!
Straight the fuck up, as the Chargers lined up for the kick I had a feeling it was going to be laces out. I was screaming FUCK IT UP, FUCK IT UP then they pulled a ROMO and my jaw hit the floor. The Chargers keep finding new ways to lose. Of course Rivers and everyone before him has tore up the secondary so Oakland's isn't a scary team unless they pull something together but they just might finish above .500
Derek Carr, who Machado laughed at tossed for as many TD's last week as Dank has all year. Derek Carr 11TDs 2INTs. Not a cap on Dank, just a fuck you to Machado.
Falcons - Great fucking game! Sucks Siemian was out but the game must go on. With the Panthers choking Atlanta could run away with the division or at least hold on with this jump start....It's early but I'm pulling to see this be the year of the Falcons. They have a tough 3 games set, at Seattle, Chargers then the Packers.

next game at GB will be very, very difficult. once again Dallas has to run the ball, control the clock and try to do to GB what
they just did to Cincy. the less Rodgers has the ball, the better.

Terrible game between two bad teams. Panthers managed to suck just a little bit more than the Bucs.
Anyways, you can probably stick a fork in Carolina. They might be able to scratch their way back to .500, but that won't be good enough in the NFC this year.
That's why you gotta win the SB when you get there. Last year everything went their way - soft schedule, few injuries, and guys having career years. This year, not so much.

I am not a Dallas fan, I don't hate them either. But methinks that Jerry Jones is one stupid motherfucker, well when it comes to being a GM.
Romo is the starter when he is healthy?
Really? So you want to fuck that badly with this kids head?
He has no interceptions through 5 games, is managing the game well and not making mistakes.
Right, give me the gingerbread man instead, he's good for a few INT's and a few losses before his back breaks again.

Every single NFL GM would be saying the very same thing. The key portion of his reply is , "when Tony is healthy". That could
mean any number of things and there is no telling when Tony will be fit enough to take the field again.
Listen, when Romo is healthy he is among the top 10 QB's in the game. In 2014, Romo played at a very high level
and the team only lost in the playoffs because the NFL has yet to decide what is a catch and what is not a catch. Romo did
not lose that game.
Hell yes, Dak, #4 is playing great right now. Not having any INT's to date is very, very impressive for a rookie.
For now the plan is for Dak to continue playing and if and when Tony is actually practicing, going full speed, etc..
That is when the team can make their final decision about Romo. Just because Jerry is saying that Tony is playing
again does not mean anything. The man has the right to change his mind and ask Romo to carry a clipboard.

Re: The NFL Thread
Got to go with Machado on this one. The head office is just blowing smoke, when ROMO is healthy the truth will come out.
The staff will keep their Money QB happy and limit the drama by saying ROMO is the starter when healthy. No one has a clue when ROMO will be ready and the staff can use it as an excuse. Saying ROMO is their QB should limit the press from asking the question at every conference and limit the controversy. The fucking Media wont shut the hell up, give it a fucking rest. I'm tired of hearing Dank this Dank that...He get's more airtime then the league leading Ezekiel and the truck sized holes he runs through.
Ezekiel is averaging over 109yds a game, Murray in 2nd at 92yds a game....And all they talk about is Dank.
Dank's played a handful of games, it's not like he's on fire.
ROMO when healthy can make things happen and throw TD's. Dank has a long way to go, he's doing well but lets face it, he's benefiting from a great line and a top running game. He's thrown less TD's then Blaine Gabbert, 1 more than Brady and the same amount as Case Keenum and Jimmy Garoppolo.
Put Dank in Cleveland or behind Indy's or Miami's O-line and how well do you think he'd be doing?
Luck has been sacked 20 times and still thrown 10tds and 3ints.
Ryan Tannehill on the other hand, sacked 17 times, 6tds 7ints.....I think the Tannerhill experiment is coming to a finish. I see a back up career coming soon.

They're a few players away from a really good team but I still don't like the coaching staff and the defense is horrible. Carr and the offense are great in 4th quarter but it's gonna bite them in the ass unless they find out a way to stop teams from scoring. Until then it's nice to finally see some W's. Four in a row for Washington! This division is still up for grabs! As far as the Dallas Green Bay game goes... A Green Bay win would tie us up with Dallas but Dallas would have a tiebreaker through head to head (for now). But if Dallas wins then that means Green Bay is beatable when we play them. So I guess I just have to watch in neutrality
