I don't care WHO you play: a high school team, a college team, much less an NFL team... you aint gonna beat anybody when you make the kind of dumb mistakes we made today. We threw that one away, we gave them the freaking game! In my opinion, that SUCKED! Giving up a game winning TD pass to Blaine Gabbert?! I don't know who the hell we think we are when we do something like that. We couldn't do diddly poo offensively in the second half. Coaches couldn't get their heads out of their asses. Three running plays with one minute left to go and a game winning field goal in reach? FAIL. What a mess.

I saw Bill "cheater" Belichick assault an official last night after losing the game. Guess that's what happens when cheaters don't get their way, they resort to violence and bullying. Belichick will certainly be fined but should be suspended as well. You can't put your hands on an official like that.

Maybe the real Vikings showed up. Without a total meltdown last week against Indy, they would be 3-0. The Vikings still have a lot their best players from the team that lost to the Saint in the NFC champ. game 3 years ago. If Ponder plays half as well as he played today the rest of the season, they have a chance.johnk5150 wrote:The real Alex Smith show up yesterday? Fuck you Bucs and your "victory formation" defensive scheme.
Since the D-LINE is not allowed to line-up over the center during the extra point attempt, then why should the D-LINE be allowed to line-up over the center when the offense has the victory formation ready to go?
I saw the plays yesterday at the end of the Dallas game and one of these games the O-Line center is going to break his leg, tear a knee because the D-Line bulldozes the defenseless O-Lineman after the ball is snapped.

Sure, but how come as soon as the Niners lose, it must have been what they did wrong? You know what they did wrong? They got outcoached. They got outworked, and they got pushed around. The talent level is not that far off when you look at both teams. And last year's draft has paid of twice in the first 3 weeks for the Vikings. The Vikings need to win some of the division games now.Crazy Levi wrote:Yeah, maybe.NeverSurrender wrote:

Afyer watching some replays from the Denver and Texans game, I've concluded that the Broncos are some dirty play motherfuckers. That May dude ought to be suspended. Take your ass whipping like men instead of trying to knock the QB who is humiliating you out of the game with late hits.
Re: NFL 2012 Thread
Amen to that. A very dirty play and if you ask me, that player is using his helmet as a weapon. He should have been ejected from the game and suspended for at least
2 more.
The players are resorting to tactics like that because the scab refs have zero respect from the players and have even less control of the game.

He played 11 years and rushed for over 12,000 yards
Averaged over 100 yards per game only 3 times during those 11 years
In his career he averaged 4.0 yards per carry
80 career TD's gives him an average of just 7 per season
Solid numbers for a pro rb, but not worthy of the HOF

100% HALL OF FAME WORTHY!He ranks No. 11 in NFL history in rushing and No. 13 in yards from scrimmage. He’s one of only four players to rush for 1,500 yards at least four times. The others: Hall of Famers Barry Sanders, Walter Payton and Eric Dickerson.

You do realize that Edge is ahead of O.J. Simpson, Franco Harris, and Marcus Allen on the rushing list, right? Are those players also not HOF worthy in your eyes?

Don't even try to put his name in the same category with
Sanders, Payton and Dickerson. Are you kidding with that non-sense.
Those 3 are leaps and bounds ahead of anything James has ever done
of the course of his career.
Being 11th in rushing sounds to me like he is in the outside look in and will only slide further down the scale.
James has a very good career, but fell short of being HOF worthy.

I'd put him ahead of Dickerson any day! Their rushing stats are comparable, but Edge had over 1,000 more receiving yards and almost 2X as many receiving TDs. Edge > Dickerson.
