Supposedly, it was something that would be out of the system in a week but now testing has caught up to it and now traces can be picked up weeks after stopping.
Who gets bagged?
I heard about this. Was a popular drug the E. Germans used in the 70's and 80's. technology has caught up and now the players
abusing this specific PED are now in trouble.
who's to say which player(s) it might be. for all we know it could be a low level minor league player.
i hope its a big name and i hope the player wear a Cubs or Red Sox uniform

Tim Lincecum threw 41 pitches in his showcase today. He was in the 89-91 range and hit 92. Apparently he threw good breaking balls and his change looked great. He had a private workout for SF and wants to pitch 5 to 6 more years.

John Lackey records his 2,000 K.

What a difference a year makes. Most of last year he was injured, not 100%. This year he's back to feeling normal
and the production has jumped to an elite level. Too bad he plays for the M's. Going nowhere, fast!

Believe it or not, I ordered my first NY Yankees jersey and it finally arrived
Image
I really wanted a #44 Reggie Jackson jersey, but I could not find a reputable website selling that particular jersey.

I do have a white pinstripes home jersey but with no number on the back. I also have the dark blue BP jersey, again with no number on the back.
I guess it's now official. I'm a NY Yankees fan!!!

Strasburg signs 7/175m extension with the Nats. I keep hearing all these trade rumors now. Why would Washington trade him? They're not hurting financially and are competitive in the NL. Their only flaw is they have one of the worst managers of all time at the helm.

Dusty Baker will be their undoing.

Bryce Harper will flip his hair.

Fuck that team.

KC prospect Raul Mondesi's PED suspension reduced from 80 to 50 games since he was able to show the substance he tested positive for was in his cough syrup.

Did you see Bryce return to the field and visibly curse at the home plate umpire last night? He was tossed from the game, Nats hit a walk off and here comes Bryce "wannabe Mickey Mantle" onto the field and is clearly seen
cursing at the umpire mid celebration. Since when does an ejected player have the right to return to the field during a game?
The kid is out of control and IMO, he's not yet a winner. About time someone shows him to respect the game a lot more before something happens to him.

Supposedly he's going to be fined/suspended.

I hate Harper. He's a once in a generation talent, but he makes me wish for the days of headhunters to return.

Baseball is tired, so you can flip your bat now? Cool. Let him dodge a fastball to the cranium. That needs to return. The Puigs, Harpers, Batistas can flip all they want.

It's only fair.

I cannot agree with you more. Harper is begging for a bean-ball. That alone might knock some sense into him. Forget about a fine. MLB should suspend the fool for his actions.

"The Natural" starring Bartolo Colon

Despite being suspended for PED use(50 games), Colon has reached cult status among MLB fans & is now now celebrated for hitting a HR at the age of 42.
Is he given a PED pass because of his age, because he's not a superstar, because he's not among the highest paid players in MLB, therefore nobody cares if he once violated the PED program in MLB???

Jays vs Rangers today. Final regular season meeting in 2016. Rangers have not forgotten the "bat flip" from 2015
Matt Bush(ex #1 pick and convict), drilled Joey Bats in the ribs, in the 8th inning, Rangers winning by just 1 run.
Joey B cried, whined and wanted revenge. On the next play Joey B slid hard and late into 2nd base(illegal slide)
and was subsequently punched in the face by the Rangers 2B.
It was beautiful
It was a direct shot. Joey B's glasses went flying and so did his machismo.

I have zero respect for Joey B. You got hit in the ribs, in a 1 run game. Take you HBP to 1st base and play ball.
Or don't toss the bat in the air and pretend you are invincible because MLB players have a great memory and will
seek revenge when the time is right.

Matt Bush earned respect today by doing what he did. Joey B lost a lot of respect from his peers for behaving like a diva
& getting punched square in the face, after going toe to toe with the much smaller 2B on the Rangers.

why do baseball players need to empty the benches when there's a fight?
did they think that's how it's done because they heard it was done like that in hockey?

He is a kid so I can ignore his actions in a lot of ways. I do still think they should bring back the headhunting, more aggressive old school style though. He'll probably tone down the hairflips if he quit being so coddled.

Damn good shot but Kyle Farnsworth destroying Paul Wilson is the best ass kicking I've ever seen in MLB.

Well, they completely dismantled the team. Don't see how that was Fredi's fault.

But everything will be okay just as soon as they move into that new ballpark that nobody seemed to want.

MLB suspends Rougned Odor 8 games for his role in brawl Sunday. He will appeal.

of course he will appeal. he might even claim innocence. after all, someone else threw the punch, not him
he is already on record saying he does not regret his actions. so man up, take your punishment and earnings lost
and sit down for 8 games.

saw this on the Yankees site today. in celebreation of Joe D's hitting streak 75 years ago, the site is posting boxscores from each game of the streak
3-2 game
both starters went 9
each gave up a run in the 9th
where was the pen? did they not have anybody in the pen?
these days the manager would have pulled the starter in the 7th and had the match ups going for the final 9 outs. probably
using 4 RP's in the process.
keep in mind, the pitchers were hitting in this game. even more astounding that each went the full 9 IP
