Ted Wells has investigated and said that although Griff missed the meeting about the audible, he still should have been "generally aware" that hiking the ball was a stupid thing to do and thus, the COLTS!!! organization has been suspended for 4 games.UtahRatt wrote:Not only did I love the self pwned fake punt fail but all the head lines and quotes are great! Poor lil' pp
From Yardbarker:
Most disappointing NFL players so far
1.PEYTON MANNING
Father Time appears finally to have caught up with Peyton Manning. Although the Denver Broncos are 6-0, Manning has struggled, throwing more interceptions than touchdowns through six weeks. Although he can still command an offense and hit the short throws, Manning doesn’t have the arm strength any more to hit big-time NFL passes.
2.ANDREW LUCK
This was supposed to be the season Andrew Luck became the NFL's top quarterback. Unfortunately for Colts fans, they may have to wait another year. Luck struggled in the first three games of the season, throwing more interceptions than touchdown passes, and only completing 56 percent of his passes. Luck then missed two games with a shoulder injury only to return against the Pats in a loss.

Nine and a half minute drive to start the second half.
Turnover on downs at the one yard line.
Poor Jacksonville fans. Even when they're winning they still suck.

Ole Andrew leaf had a near comeback to go with bus multiple INTs today, but sadly it wasn't enough.
For there was only to be ONE miracle 24 point comeback today - the mighty Washington Redskins.

Just the other day I made a post talking about how great it would be if Luck went elsewhere when his rookie contract is up. Man I really want this to happen I can't stand Jim Irsay.
One other thought - Everybody heard all the talk from last season about how the 49'ers from the front office to the players were burnt out on Jim Harbaugh and he had lost the locker room.
Colin Kaepernick better not be one of them. Harbaugh made him a fortune and there's enough tape on him by now to see he's just not picking up the game like you would expect.

How about Hardy and his lineman having a screaming match.
How about that MUFFED PUNT?
How about that Matt Cassel? 3INT's!
Great game...........And they're still in the running. That division sucks more then a 74 Pinto.
This is why they should have started Weeden. Another week for Cassel. Not that I'm complaining.

I still like Cassell over Weeden. One of the picks was on the WR, the other two were poor decisions. Glad the Eagles lost. Just make the division that much more of a fucking mess, LOL!
I liked that Hardy was emotional. Not an issue to me. Just a lot of passion and ain't nothing wrong with that.
The muffed punt was a mute point. Would have been very difficult to drive
the length of the field with zero TO's.

Yeah that First Place Schedule really has Dallas in a bind.
Also the fact that they don't have a quarterback.
We TOLD you Casell was gonna suck. Why don't you ever listen to us? Its not ALL trolling. A fucking retard knows that Matt "why the fuck do moronic GMs keep trading draft picks for me?" Casell sucks fucking ass and no longer belongs in the NFL.
This is common knowledge.

Be on the look out for that sometime in the future, LOL!!!
Anyway, yes Cassell sucks but he does not suck as much as Weeden. So given the choice I prefer
Cassell at QB until Romo returns. Look, Danny White is not available and neither is anybody else that won some games for Dallas, so you go with whom you got and that's it.
Maybe Cassell does improve, but I know that Weeden was not going to get any better. Weeden had his best game vs Saints and played worse and worse with every game.
Again with the 1st place schedule. Sorry, I can't explain that to you again. We went through this already. Give it a rest.
Seattle is going to be a very tough game. Will take a lot better play from Cassell to win the game. TO's were brutal tonight and without those Dallas might have stolen a game on the road today.

I just don't see Casell getting any better, and Romo is becoming old and fragile. I don't like the Cowboy's chances for the division is all I'm saying, regardless of if Romo comes back. The chemistry is a mess, there's no depth. This isn't a team I'd bank on.
Re: The NFL Thread
Unclear how you can say the team chemistry is a mess. Dallas was 2-0 and looking just fine when Romo was injured. Believe me, with Romo this team does not lose four consecutive games.Crazy Levi wrote:I just don't see Casell getting any better, and Romo is becoming old and fragile. Many questions to be answered from all the teams in the NFC East. Does not matter if the division winner wins 7, 8 or 9 games. As long as a team makes the playoffs that team has a chance to win the SB.
Nice that Philly lost tonight. Keeps the division very tight.

You are dreaming if you think 8 wins takes this division. In the end it will take at least 9.
Cowboys are 2-4. I don't see them getting 7 more wins this season.

Ya two weeks should give him plenty of time! That worked out well.Gritt wrote:Machado wrote: Cassell has about 2 weeks to prepare for the next game and give the team a much better chance to win.
I wonder if Machado thinks before he posts because he clearly don't understand shit.
Even if Dallas ran the same offense....Including Cassel with an armband cheat sheet and a limited playbook he'd still need more then 2 weeks. It's almost more confusing with the same offense. The names, plays and routes numbers are all different but after the QB spent a year learning them it's like everything is backwards on a new team. Some QB's have said it's more confusing then learning a new system.
A Joe blow machado 101 example..
The QB spent the year learning what the patterns are, say, 1-9 are...Example 1 = Post or a 9 = a button. His new team 1-9 are all changed. Then you have the same play's on both teams but the call sign is different.....
Split west blast H flat, 236 shift viper x stick curl up Danger on one
The QB learned that one play for a year but now the exact play on the new team could be
Doubles H dive F hang, trips right 375 jet x shallow Shadow on one
Now if you're in the 2:00 minute drill that play could be called by one name where the QB could yells out "Diamond" or "Shock" just to make the play call in a hurry.
I don't know how NFL QB's do it, or in Cassel's case, didn't. It's easy to understand why the world is full of athletes but lacks quarterbacks. Just learning and memorizing the play's isn't even half of it. Then to have a Machado saying 2 weeks to pick up the play book!
Derp.
Anyway, Cassel had 2 weeks to memorize a playbook and get timing down with his WR's, I don't know why he threw 3 PICKS! Maybe he just sucks.
