Replay just did that.............

Fuck Replay.............Another stupid send on Agon around 3rd and an even more lollygagging throw from Dolly Addison but to top it off with a lame replay call. Good Games. I bet it costs them down the road. My hate for replay is evil.

What is up with 3rd Base Coaches, that's twice he's fucked LA out of an inning with RISP. He was safe but shouldn't have been sent and replay failed. Addison should have tossed him out by a mile yet he came up throwing like it was in practice. Ugly all around. KILL I'm guessing you've played some 3rd base coach, I have, easiest job on the field.

Cleveland vs CUBS!

I don't see LA winning this series, they're battling and the CUBS have been shut down. A Dodger record like 20+ innings? Take away that 9th inning blow up and the CUBS haven't hit anything. You can't keep this line up down, all it takes is a swing of the bat from Rizzo and the CUBS will take over the series.

Even if LA wins tonight with the Rookie I'd still bet the CUBS will win.

Nope. I never coached in any capacity. When the strike happened I walked away from the game completely. I had no delusions I was good enough to make the bigs anyways. That was a dark period, mang. Clemens went to Toronto and then to the hated MFY, Clark became a Ranger, Dusty fucking Baker....

Scott Brocious promoted from AAA Tacoma hitting coach to asst. coach for the Seattle Mariners.

Boston Red Sox #2 under Dave Dombrowski leaves to be VP and GM of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Asst. coach Tony Luvollo rumored to join him as the new mgr.

This fascinates me. The Dbacks went from a GM ( Stewart ) that looked at sabermetrics type evaluations as a sort of voodoo, to one of the Epstein/Hoyer stat driven guys.

Arizona potentially just got a smart FO and Boston with their deep farm just pretty much gave all control to Dombrowski to trade.

Talk about organizational philosophies shifts.

It figures as soon as I said with one swing of the bat it could take the CUBS out of their streak.

An inning or two later and POW! That carried into the next game and their hot. MLB has it rigged anyway, since that blown Agon safe at home call "even Harper" tweeted it was a blown call, Chicago has been hitting. It's an inside job. Even how during the game the camera tries to pick out CUBS fans in LA. Come back from a commercial all it shows is the CUBS hits n plays with music in the background. HYPE THIS! MLB want the CUBS to win the WS, fuck toss in the MLB and every media outlet.

IT'S RIGGED! Just like the NBA.

CUBS in 6

Going into the season I didn't think LAD was going to make the playoffs, it's bitter sweet they made it to the NLCS and shut the CUBS the fuck out in a couple games to make it interesting. Hopefully giving their fans a "here we go again" feeling. This is a totally different CUBS team and fan base then the ones I grew up with. Cocky bastages. There's a new hate team in town.

With the exception of the true loyals who I'm happy for, you know the difference, fuck the rest and fuck the CUBS for letting Maddox walk!

2016 World Champ CUBS.......I'm so pulling for the Tribe. At least there's no travel time that will come to play and should be some rainy games.

------------------------------------

Baez! I swear to fuck he on bathsalts or is not playing with a full deck.......Anyone see him fucking with Rizzo during that Pop Up? You're in the NLCS and you're poking your 1st baseman as he's about to make a catch? I loved how Riz tossed the ball into his chest, you got the sense Riz instantly didn't think it was funny but lightened up quickly.
Baez isn't playing with a full deck. Ya he's exciting like Puig was, his shit got old real fucking fast.

I stopped watching when the STRIKE hit. LAD was in first and I still don't watch like I use to, or even read much outside of a few teams. But when you said dark days it gave me a chill, my darkness came later and I'm paying for it now.

When I was IR playing football I'd sideline ref for AYSO soccer games and do some base coaching or sometimes a DH in an adult league baseball. I picked it up n school n stuff, 1st was harder but still they're easy jobs....Then you have shit like sending Jayson Werth in the NLDS and Agon green lights made me want to punch the TV. Cost them two innings with multiple runners on and momentum. They get paid to do an easy job that could have a major effect on a game. I don't get it. Both the Nat's and LAD should have 3rd base coach openings.

Well, I think I'm pretty much done with baseball, CUBS should win tomorrow, take the series and I don't wanna see any of it. Football is kicking in. We'll see how it goes, time to see what the off season looks like because baseball wraps up tomorrow.

Congratulation to the minority of good CUBS fans, screw the CHUBBY bandwagons.

Charlie Sheen offers to throw out the first pitch at World Series.

Actor Charlie Sheen, who play 'Wild Thing' in 'Major League', offers to throw out ceremonial first pitch at World Series
http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/1784 ... rld-series

With the way the MLB is going this should be the first pitch lineup.

Steve Bartman
Sammy Sosa
Billy Crystal
Milton Bradley
Lou Piniella
LaTroy Hawkins
Steve Stone

I was going to say Lester but I'm not sure if he could throw home without a windup.

Indians announce starting rotation.
1. Corey Kluber
2. Trevor Baeur
3. Josh Tomlin

Indians RHP Danny Salazar ( out since 09/09 with a forearm injury ) to throw 3 innings in a simulated game in effort to make WS roster.

This should be an awesome series. Chicago is a monster, but I think Cleveland's pitching ( all of it ) and Francona vs. Maddon gives them an edge.

I think Indians in 5.

It wasn't humor it was a tragic break down from my shitty team somehow winning the division, beating the Nat's in the NLDS then managing two shutouts but eventually losing to a much better team in the NLCS.

How did the Yankees do? No post season for you, spectator! Savor the NYY suckage of 2016.

A olive branch to any offended CUBS fans, apart from the sarcasm and against the insurmountable odds knowing it wasn't going to happen, after the dust cleared I wanted my team to win. Losing sucks! Good luck in the WS.....There will be a refreshing new winner either way. The Cards, B-Soxs, Giants, Yankees and the rest can suck it! There will be a new Sheriff in town "Not named KC"

Go Tribe!

Reg. season awards are great and look nice in print, but winning when it matters the most
is the true sign of a great player. Unfortunately or fortunately, Kershaw stunk up the joint

Indians or Cubs
Who you got?

I'll take Indians in 6 games. My baseball sense tells me a lot of close games, which means the bullpen will be key.
A. Miller vs Chapman-who do you trust the most?

As a fan with no particular rooting interest, I'm really looking forward to this series.

Two long suffering franchises, both poised to delight their fan base. I hope it goes 6-7 heart wrenching games.

Two excellent managers - among the best of their era.

I'll go Cubbies in 6. I think their starters are just plain deeper/better.

No surprise here. Odds were alcohol would be a major factor in the crash
Miami-Dade County authorities say the strong odor of alcohol was found on Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez and two other men in a boat when they died in a crash last month, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by the Miami Herald.

The warrant, released by the Miami-Dade state attorney, alleges investigators found evidence that the boat's driver was speeding and driving with "recklessness" that was "exacerbated by the consumption of alcohol." It does not identify who was driving.

The warrant was prepared so that investigators would search the boat, look at its GPS and examine its two engines, the Herald reported.

Toxicology reports are complete but have not been released by state investigators, the Herald reported. The newspaper said that authorities cited an exemption in public records law for releasing information as part of an open criminal investigation.

very difficult for the tribe to win all 3 at chicago. the cubs caught a break when they split the first two games.
indians really needed to sweep at home to put enormous pressure on the cubs.

The box said 14LOB? 7 each? I didn't watch, anyway.

Chick called to ask if I was watching the game "of course not I said"
So I switched over and the Tribe had the bases loaded with one out and I was kind of excited for 3 seconds....Figures, I turned it over in time to watch the first pitch turn into a 4-6-3 to get Hendricks out of the bases loaded jam. I turned the TV off.
After the game she called again saying, if these are the best teams how come they're not scoring!??? "Machado, is that you?"

CUBS have been shutout 4 out of the last 8? They either go off or go whiff.

I dug out my Tribe jackets "gifts when I lived in Cleveland" so I can catch shit from people when I start wearing them, then I'll expect twice the slams for my new Dodgers hats that came this week. Still calling it, 2016 CUBS World Champs! Without a doubt.

One things for sure, the CUBS have sprouted a ton of fans, everywhere. Late last night I was held in line from two C fans buying beer with pocket change while yacking about the series. As I walked out I went to grab a paper and the headline was CHICAGO! I skipped it. The world will stop on it's axis when they win, then watch Trump win and it will be a double whammy.

I have a vision Chicago winning then the next day Trump has his picture taken wearing a CUBS hat.

Media..........It was the fourth time in 13 games this postseason the Cubs were shut out.

Me: 4th shut out in the last 8 games. No worries, they got it under control. Tonight's game is a biggie.

With 2 Wins Clayton still is tied with Lester for the most NL WINS this postseason.....How many have the Yankees won? Oh that's right, have a nice long year since not making the post season. Couldn't even grab a WC after getting spanked out of the WC game last year.

No wonder Miller and Chapman left, they're probably still rubbing off the stank. Just think if NY kept them if they'd won those few extra and not choked down the stretch.....You'll never know!

Are you enjoying watching them play and win with someone else. How's that feel for a change. Since the dawn of time it's the all-star team the yankees bought at the break to win. Enjoy the suckage!

It really is kind of refreshing with the CUBS and Tribe.........No Stankees.

Considering the Indians lost their #2 and #3 starters (and who are nearly as good as Kluber), I'm surprised they destroyed Boston and Toronto and are up 2-1.

If the Cubs can get to Kluber tonight, it will go 7. If the Indians win tonight, it may not even get back to Cleveland.

I do. Pitching. The tribe has had their 5th postseason shutout ( record ). The other postseason record shutouts is 4. SF Giants in 2010 and 2012, MFY in 1998, and NY Giants in 1905. All 4 won the World Series.

I think Francona is a better manager than Maddon. His use of relievers is like a superpower.

It is bullshit the Cubs don't have homefield. With that record? Manfred hints at doing away with the ASG deciding homefield.

The last time the Cubs lost 1-0 in the World Series was 1918. Babe Ruth was on the mound.

Jose Fernandez's toxicology report says cocaine was also in his system at the time of the accident. Bummer. It looks like his estate is about to be sued now.

*edit

Zach Britton and Kenley Jansen named AL and NL relievers of the year.

Jansen is a free agent and is about to get paid. With Chapman, Miller, SF's collapse, etc. I think we're going to go through a period of bullpens being paid like starters. The WAR isn't comparable to technically justify it though.

Sometimes I have a hard time honoring shit like that and ironically how it's headlined right next to Curtis Granderson's Roberto Clemente award!

On a side note, Curtis Granderson “Chicago’s always been home’’ We have a WINNER!

Me: 4th shut out in the last 8 games. No worries, they got it under control. Tonight's game is a biggie.

Ah...Is someone sad their team didn't have enough pitching in the season to make the post?

It really is kind of refreshing with the CUBS and Tribe.........No Stankees.
you have no idea what you are talking about, Kershaw is a great player when it is the regular season. in the Post season, where legends are born,
the guy is not very great now is he? go ahead and defend him all you want, but once again when his team needed him the most, he failed the team(again)
for you to imply that the Yankees should have kept Miller and Chapman just proves you are mentally retarded and have no idea how the business of baseball works.
did those two leave or where they traded? no don't rush to answer. think about that for a NY minute before you reply. because there is a HUGE difference between
the 2.
