I haven’t watched more than 3 or 4 WWE shows in years. AEW has actually renewed my interest in wrestling.

I don't know how anyone can watch that WWE garbage anymore. AEW has been pretty fucking good..... especially tonight. Hell.... when have Virgil on the show....AKA Soultrain Jones.... that's pure gold. Never ending breadsticks and fuck money!!!!!

CM Punk has joined WWE Backstage

There was a shocker at the end of this week’s episode of WWE Backstage.

As the show was ending, Renee Young said she wanted to create a big moment. She did not explain what she was referring to but as she stopped talking, “Cult of Personality” played and then CM Punk walked out.

Punk said he is looking to change the culture. So, he will officially start on the show as part of the panel next week.

Punk had been in talks with Fox Sports since July when he tried out for the job. In recent interviews, Punk said he had not heard from anyone at Fox Sports so it looked like he was not getting the gig. It sounds like someone reached out to him sometime in the last week.

It certainly looks like this is a reaction to last week’s rating. Last week’s show drew just 49,000 viewers so it was clear that something needed to be done to shake things up.

PWInsider is reporting that WALTER’s belt and passport were stolen today in Chicago after a smash and grab of his rental car. The car belonged to Timothy Thatcher, who also had his belongings stolen during the robbery.

Apparently, there have been a series of incidents in the Logan Square area, which is the area where Thatcher and WALTER are scheduled to compete in for the EVOLVE promotion.

WALTER is scheduled to face EVOLVE Champion Josh Briggs in the main event of tonight’s EVOLVE show.

This is the second major title that has been lost this year. In August, Chris Jericho lost and later recovered his AEW World Championship just days after he won it at the All Out pay-per-view.

There is no word on suspects in the case. The suspect (or suspects) are lucky that WALTER was not in the area when the belt and passport were stolen.
