Much to p13's dismay, it won't be Peyton.

It should be Carson Palmer. Week in and week out he is the best player on whatever team Cincy is playing.

Congrats to Brett Favre for an amazing accomplishment, one that has never been duplicated in the history of sports. His streak may be over but it won't be forgotten. However, Peyton Manning will break Favre's record in 6 years.

Yes, Favre's 335 INTs are impressive, but the way Manning has been playing lately he just may catch him in 6 years.

Brady. By a mile.

I just threw up a little bit typing that. But it's true.

I forgot there were not one, but two games tonight. I still can't get past that prison rape the Pats threw down yesterday on the Bears.

Schaub blew it in overtime after such a great 4th quarter. Shame.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised that they turned it around and actually made it a hell of a game. I was actually pulling for the Texans, since I can't stand the Ravens and the Texans were already out of the playoff hunt. Those last couple of drives were outstanding and made the game very exciting. In the end, though, they blew it, as the Texans usually do.

Yeah, of course. Crucial late-game picks always make me think of Favre. :)

Quarterbacks currently playing better than Peyton Manning:

Alphabetically:
Tom Brady
Drew Brees
Matt Cassel
Josh Freeman
Philip Rivers
B. Roethlisberger
Aaron Rodgers
Matt Ryan
Michael Vick

So that makes 9 by my count, meaning Manning is barely a top 10 QB this season. Does that sound about right? Am I missing any?

The last time Brett Favre did not start for his team, I was a freshman in high school. Think about that. All through college and grad school, and ten years in at my job! I've never sat back and thought about that. That's a long ass time. Sadly, Favre will now be remembered as the grey beard who didn't when to hang it up. My favorite Favre memory will always be tearing the Raiders apart on MNF the day after his father died.

Nah....Favre's goodbye has been longer than most, but you'll be surprised how irrelevant that all is in a few years.

Most people can't name where Joe Namath or Johnny Unitas spent the last year of their careers, because nobody cares. In the end Favre's career will be remembered for the highlight reel. And let's not forget he had an amazing year last season - for a 40-year old or for anyone.

That comeback was pretty epic, followed by the typical let down. I'm so fucking sick of that shit. Good news is that Kubiak is coaching himself right back to Denver. See ya Gary.

Gruden and Houston are a perfect match. Imagine what he would get out of that offense with Schaub, Johnson, and Foster.

I heard his streak started 3 weeks after the first dream team won the gold.

Whoever the new guy is, I'd hope he wouldn't fuck with the offense much. The offense is pretty fucking good. Defense, special teams, play calling, clock management, and motivation - that's where they need work.

Offensively. Defensively this team is a disaster :?

They're 40 points away against them to become the WORST defensive unit in the franchise 51 years history
