Daltons passing game was super against Jets (not a bad defense). Best passing game 1 game in ?

So many damn plays left on the field. And, still. #88 isn't worth 70million.

Dallas lost the game in the 1st quarter. Not turning those 15 play drives into TD's. The team was forcedBludegeon wrote:20-19..

to kick and that cost them the game. They could have won the game in the 1st quarter with 1 or 2 td's.
Dak played well. He took what the D gave him and was very patient in the pocket. His body language
does not scream rookie at all.
Looking forward to game 2 vs Washington

I predict Washington fans are not going to be all that happy with Norman after tonight's game.
What a great week 1 so far huh? Been some damn good tight games. Hey Utah your coach don't look so bad now does he?
I loved that move. That's how you get your team believing in themselves. It's not business as usual in Oakland. Shame too for the local fan base since I don't see them staying. But please stay the fuck out of LA.

Raiders head coach showed some cajones with that call. How many NFL coaches would have done the same? I can name one, a former coach, Jimmy Johnson.eddie lee roth wrote:I predict Washington fans are not going to be all that happy with Norman after tonight's game.

Jimmy Johnson also coached at Oklahoma State, Univ. of Miami and the Miami Dolphins. IMO, you made this about the Cowboys, not me

Given Oakland destroyed the 4th Quarter, had the momentum and already converted a 2 pointer it wasn't as bad but still 70%-30% MORON!
Plus you didn't want Breezzzz to have to ball back because he couldn't be stopped....Crabbtree made a hell of a catch I'll say that.
What I am more pissed about....
I have less of a problem with the call as I do the secondary they put together and the vanilla defense they're running. All the talk about building a D in the off-season was forgetting that some teams throw the ball. Thanks KC for giving us Sean Smith who got torched to start the game on that 98yd fly...His slow ass couldn't bump a WR half his size off the line, got torched, then got benched after the play and watched the rest of the game from the sideline.
It's like a coupon with this Raider Defense, double team Khalil Mack and each WR who breaks 100yds or gets a TD will receive a Happy Meal. They better make some adjustments, but that's the shit Del Rio does, brings to the table and he's going to shoot himself in the foot doing it.
With DelRio and Norton Jr as ex Dallas teammates coaching the head and D....It's no wonder they look like Dallas Defense.
For all the experience of defensive coaching, they sure can't build anything resembling one or run a D to match his personal in Oakland.....
Remember when Del Rio was the Jag's coach and had the motto something "keep cutting wood" and then had his team actually cut wood with an AXE till his punter or kicker cut his leg open and missed the season.....Del Rio is kind of a clown.
-----------------------------------------------
Lot of close games, imagine if the fin's had a QB, still sticking with Tannerstill.
The JAG's and TAMPA! Still sleepers.
The Eagles looked good against Cleveland Community College.
How about Dalton getting sacked 7 times......Think you might want to bring in an extra TE or a two back COACH! He took the pounding like a porn star.
KC nipping the Chargers after they lost Keenan Allen, that's gonna hurt.
DA BEARS.........
I expected the Titans to be better, Murry sucks.....Even with the threat of Mariota.
Who's going to win fist, Rams or Browns?
-----------------------
AND..............It's totally out of control and disrupting the game, protest on your own time.
Fuck all you band wagon privileged pampered players sitting down or taking a knee on 9/11 no less, during the anthem. Loved the headline, Monday Night Football Preview: Kaepernick Sits on the Bench after Sitting for the Anthem.
The hate it's bringing alone is setting back race relations more then it's helping.
It's turning into a joke and the media is making it hard to watch. During the anthem do we need to go around and point out who's all not standing? It should be like players running onto the field....DON'T SHOW THEM!!!!!
I wished the cops didn't show up for the SF game just to see it explode. It's only going to get worse and spread into other sports, even that dyke soccer player did it. Piss on her as well, I wouldn't fuck her with Adam Jones dick.
And to think it all started with Kapperfish's extremest GF filling his head full of shit..........Good Games.

I wonder how Rams fans felt about that game. Especially since Goff isn't good enough to be Case Keenum's backup, apparently.UtahRatt wrote: The Eagles looked good against Cleveland Community College.

Went was drafted with the intent for him to take the field right away.
Goff was drafted for the future and the future is not anytime soon. The kid looks so scared and IMO, he looks like he has a lot
to learn before he can take the field and do anything positive. Nothing wrong with Goff sitting all year and learning from
a pro like Keenum and a head coach like Fisher.
Might do Goff a lot of good in the long run to sit, watch, and learn.

I was disappointed that they didn't line him up on Brown more. Bash Breeland got torched most of the night, but I hope it makes him better in the long run.eddie lee roth wrote:I predict Washington fans are not going to be all that happy with Norman after tonight's game.
That said I can't fathom why you would think a high dollar free agency deal would burn the Redskins
Anyways I never really posted much in here, but I've been a Redskins fan since the early 80s so I may as well claim them on here on the tail of yet another Prime Time clinic of buffoonery... Wouldn't wanna be accused of band wagoning

Re: The NFL Thread
I made a shitty bet a few weeks ago. Bet someone a dollar that The 49ers would do better than The Saints this season. This was like a week before the Kapernick thing. Now I'm pissed and even offered to pay out just to not have to root for the 49ers, but they said no. Now even if I win, I still lose. That being said, I bet the 49ers will do great and Kap will step his game up for all the haters.
Re: The NFL Thread
I'm a little late but. Those hits on Cam are bullshit. You can call him what you want but he is a great player. I still see Carolina doing amazing things this year.
Re: The NFL Thread
Those hits were b.s. Helmet to helmet is only a penalty, when the official feels like reaching for the flag and tossing it to the ground.kylel wrote:I'm a little late but. The two Broncos players were finally fined today.
Safety Darian Stewart will be fined $18,231 for his illegal hit on Newton, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan. The standard fine for roughing the passer is $18,231 for a first offense. Brandon Marshall is facing a $24,309 fine for impermissible use of helmet, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

I look at QB hits this way, would I want to see a flag if the QB for my team got hit like that? So yes, I have to agree, total bullshit.kylel wrote:I'm a little late but. Cam has all the talent in the world, but to those of us outside of the Carolinas he looks like a million dollar arm and a $.02 head. He needs to grow up and perhaps understand that a little humility goes a long fucking way.
