From the day he quit playing and went to "Inside the NFL?" I despised Collinsworth but he's settled in.MurrayFiend wrote:Honestly, as an extremely casual football fan, I think Collinsworth is great. He always points out the less-heralded players and shows why what they're doing is important. He does have a dopey voice but he's super smart and on-the-ball. I could name dozens of worse analysts.Heenan Snuka wrote:Collinsworth is great.
he adds a lot u dumbshit.
I don't mind Collinsworth commentary but his voice is still annoying. Maybe it's because there's a hell of a lot worse like....Sims, Buck, Dierdorf, Aikman and Myers....He's sometimes insightful, stands his ground, corrects his mistakes and from time to time says stupid shit. How he constantly repeats..."LETS GO BACK TO" this play, that review, this turn over, that butt scratching. Move the fuck on, it was a missed block in the 1st quarter!
Buck on the other has improved from a -10 to a 3 with the enthusiasm of Elevator Music. Buck and Aikman should commentate amateur golf tours.
Honestly, the NFL commentators as a whole could use a revamp. They're worse then the Refs.

Come on, out of everything I said that's what you quote? I should get a wonder blowie from Gal Gadot for that dead on balls accurate pick!
Recap the first half for the Packers, sacked 4 times? Around 51 total yards and ZERO points till that "38yd" TD drive with 2:20 left in the half. BAM! A TD and the Hail Mary in the last 2:00+.....Packers 0 Giants 6...To....Packers 14 Giants 6....That was nuts. Still can't believe the Hail Mary.UtahRatt wrote:Giants vs Packers - Interesting match....Could be a good game but I'm going with the Packers to win in control or runway in the 2nd half....If the Giants do anything I see it being early then slipping away.
1st Quarter
Giants 105yds
Packers 7yds
2/3rds into the second half and the onslaught was on....Slipping away, more like bleeding out! Anyway I nailed the call and I want my cookie.
If the Giants would have put up TD's instead of FG's. NY couldn't just keep racking up yards, kick a couple and continue to hold the Packers down. Up to the last 2 minutes before the half the Giants looked monsters, The D was stifling till lightening struck. Then the Packers choking on that 4th down on their side of the 50 in the 3rd and NY still couldn't capitalize. They blew a lot of chances.
How about Clay Matthews strip sacking Eli then blasting Perkins out of the way to the recovery fumble, that was HULK like. Talk about the motor on Matthews.
Where have you been anyway and where are your picks. You're like one of the three posters left.

Not only does he go to Miami on a day off, the week of the playoffs. He punches a hole in the wall after the Sunday loss

QB called him out. again, he won't learn. he'd rather look cool versus winning the game. he cared more about the sun
and the water, instead of improving as a player.

Nobody in LA cares about football. They hardly cared about the Rams and their swag after about 6 weeks.
What makes the Chargers believe football fans in LA are going to support two teams?
Remember, the 1st game the Raiders played in LA, in a stadium that holds about 90,000 butts,
the Raiders played that game in front of about 35,000 fans. Far from a capacity crowd.

Round 2 of the NFL playoffs. Who you got?
Pats win easily
Steelers win at home in a hard fought game
Falcons cruise over tired and old Seahawks team. Might be a blowout
Dallas over Packers

I'm at a loss and not really into it. I want the Pat's vs Atlanta with a Falcon SB win but wouldn't mind if the Steelers went either. I want it to be the year of the Falcons regardless, I hope Ryan can get over the hump and finally watch him and the team get a ring.
I'd rather seen Seattle vs Dallas, now the Cowboys have be best D left in the NFC and home field vs suspect D's. I don't picture the Packers running the table, they're due for a stumble. Streaky could come to and end. Without the bye they're going in a little beat up.
Next season will be upside down like this season. It's watered down and up for grabs. Seattle is going to have a tough off season, all those huge contracts are haunting them and they could very well be even weaker.
I didn't watch either game today and wont catch Sunday's, kind of sums up my season. Unless I hit a party or go out I doubt I'll catch the SB unless it's Atlanta.

They cap on Brady without mentioning Houston. The Texans didn't win the Division two years in a row and make the playoffs on the shoulders of the worst starting QB's in the league.dmbrocker wrote:I dunno, but it didn't matter in the end because he still won. 72mil for OzWheelFellOffHer got the Texans the second worst QB in the NFL.......When you suck that bad there should be a stipulation clause most of your contract goes back to the team or at least the fans. Worst FA signing in a long time. Denver should be forced to take him back under a lemon law.
