I agree. Nice to see some old school football. i usually hate both those teams, but I wouldn't mind either of them winning it this year.

Yesterday was more of the same.
I was hoping Dallas would get (of town) with a W and they did. Does not matter how much they won by, as long as Dallas won.
Just saving Machado some time. 8)

Orale! Does not matter how many points a team wins by.
Dolphins are tough. I don't care what their record says, that team is playing very well.
Give Romo a lot of credit for leading his team to two very clutch drives when Dallas was down 16-10 & again, 19-17.

Everytime something doesn't go his way, Romo starts whining at his lineman, receivers etc.

That shit will backfire. His teammates are going to get tired of this asshole berating them after he's thrown two INTs.

So Mel Kiper thinks the Redskins might be looking for a QB for 2012 who is ready to take over an offense and suggests Matt Flynn or Brian Hoyer. Brian Hoyer? Seriously? Is Kiper smoking crack? Beck and Grossman are not the answer, and the Skins have won too many games to get a decent QB in the draft this year without moving up. But Hoyer?

Matt Cassel was at least a proven commodity who had a season as a successful starter. He went to a team that was going to run a similar offense with several coaches that came out of the same system he did. And he had to be packaged with another player to get a 2nd round pick in exchange.

Hoyer has shown nothing, less than nothing if possible. The few times New England has had a decent lead and put Hoyer in there they ended up pulling him and putting Brady back in. I can honestly say Hoyer is the worst #2 QB I've seen in New England and I've been watching the Patriots since Plunket was a rookie.

Ryan Mallett, who is being compared favorably to Brady in the season before he became Bledsoe's backup, will be Brady's backup next season. Meaning Hoyer is going to be cut anyway. I can't see Shanahan giving up a pick for Hoyer, maybe just to make things easy he flips NE a 7th rounder so Hoyer won't try to go elsewhere and he can take a look at him, but I don't think he's even worth that.

I think you are wrong about that. The Skins will probably finish with a top 6 or 7 pick...might not win another game all year, in which case they'd be top 5 or even better.

The possible teams ahead of them in the draft besides Indy -Miami, Minny, Arizona, Rams, Carolina - these teams are NOT looking for QBs.

It's going to be a pretty QB rich draft. There should be someone for the Skins to pick, or without much trouble trade up for the pick they need.

No?

Luck is going #1, whether Indy grabs him or trades the pick. If Indy thinks Manning is good to go for 2012 and decides to trade the pick they are going to go all out to win over the next 2-3 seasons so they won't want deferred picks. Three teams have two 1st's - Cle, Cincy, & NE - but they are set at QB.

Who after Luck is close to being a sure thing? Just because there are a bunch of QB's to draft doesn't mean any of them are ready or worth a top 10 pick. After Luck, the next 4 top rated QB's are Barkley - USC, Jones - OK, Griffin - Baylor, and Foles - AZ. Foles is a 2-3 year project. Griffin is supposedly staying in school. Moore, Keenan, and Weeden all have questions regarding them. That leaves Barkley and Jones. I don't know about you, but I don't think much of USC QB's lately(Two mocks I've sen have Wash moving up to #2 to grab him.). And Jones is projected 12-15, so he's a reach at 5-6.

So do the Skins stay put and see who falls to them, move up and take who they want, or drop back and hope their guy is still there? And then they are looking at a rebuilding process, which Snyder has shown little tolerance for trying. Which is why some of the draft guys think they try to grab a veteran and use the pick elsewhere. If it were me I'd use the pick on a QB and try to move up for Luck or make certain that my 2nd choice is going to be there when I pick.

I don't really think Miami will be picking before the Skins, so I didn't put too much thought into that one.

But Matt Moore is pretty good.

The other teams I listed - Rams, Minny, Carolina - just drafted QBs and at least the Rams and Carolina have to be happy with them. I can't imagine the Cards are looking for a QB after investing in Kolb.

Nobody is a sure thing. And honestly I pay very little attention to college ball so I don't really know shit about any of these guys except that luck, bark, griffin are being hyped up.

I don't want to see the Skins waste draft picks trying to trade up for Luck, it would be insane. But the #2 or #3 Qb in the draft will be available for them and they should take them.

It's time. Bring in a rookie and let Rex start next season. Beck will probably never have a job in the NFL again after this season.

Do you really want a rookie to learn from Grossman?

Rex: "No, it's ok dude. Don't worry about the playbook. Just chuck the ball up and see what happens. There are 21 other guys on the field. Someone is bound to catch it."

He's okay, but not good enough to be anybody's long term solution at QB. Sure, he shows some flashes here and there, but 24 career td's versus 22 interceptions isn't that great of a ratio. There's a reason this guy's on his 3rd team in 5 years.

Second team. The Cowboys who originally signed him as a free agent, in 2007, intended to sign him to their practice squad after the preseason - but Carolina snatched him up.

You can count that as three, if you're an idiot.

Moore was not selected in the 2007 NFL Draft, but was later signed as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys. Despite completing 21 of 29 passes for 182 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions to generate a 100.1 quarterback rating during the preseason for the Cowboys, Moore was waived on September 1, with the Cowboys intending to sign him to their practice squad had he passed through waivers. He was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers the following day.

Whatever. He didn't make the final 53-man roster. Either way, Matt Moore is Bruce Gradkowski - a good guy to have on your team, but he's not taking you to the promised land. Nobody's gonna pass on Matt Barkley because they've got Matt Moore on their roster.

Steve Johnson sucks! He dropped three catchable passes in the Bills final drive which probably cost them the game. I wonder if he's going to cry and blame God during his post game interview again?

I never cheered for tebow before, but I find myself cheering for him a bit now, since the media is on his ass now after kissing it the last 5 years.

Does CBS have the Philly crowd miked? God, I'm sick of hearing:

"Young Sucks" Boooooooo!!" right through my tv. God, they're fucking annoying.

I've been asking myself that since Marino retired, they'll fuck around and draft another OL,LB or DB. The list of QB's who've tried and failed to fill the void left by Marino is insane.

To be fair though, we've never had anyone in that time who you'd think "yeah, this guy could really do it." They've been people like Jay Fiedler and A.J. Feely, John Beck or even Chad Pennington. Yeah, Pennington was alright, but you just knew he was one hit away from his season being over. Fucking Joey Harrington? I mean, come on.

Yeah, but the sad truth is that Drew Brees is a Saint because the Dolphins didn't want him.
