Dumb move by Bourdreau to say anything about the crowd. They were nuts until the game tying goal. That said, I agree. After the game winner it was a morgue.

I don't hate this Rags team as much as most of them, but fuck Gaborik. I like how healthy he got once the playoffs started.

The Canucks are reminding me of the Yankees when they blew that 3-0 series lead to the Red Sox in 2004 except the Yankees were in most of those games. The Chokenucks are getting killed.

Blind squirrel finds nut twice. And the knucklehead actually used a timeout correctly for once.

What did I tell you the other day: Habs aren't so good that they can't fuck this up; Bruins aren't so bad that they can't put it together. I knew it. Every times the Habs have some success, they sit back and stop doing the things that made them successful. I'll never get that.

Looks like our friend "mo" is on the Bruins side now. I see this thing going 7. Maybe Carey Price can pull a Theodore in game 7 in Boston next Wednesday.

Nope, not kidding this time. If the NHL can find a way out of the whole Jobing.com Arena mess, they want to move the Yotes back to Winnipeg.
I did hear that True North would want to keep the Manitoba Moose name (or maybe call them the Winnipeg Moose), which is simply retarded. Why you'd take on a minor-league name rather than restart the Jets brand is beyond me.

The NHL owns the rights to the name "Winnipeg Jets" as well as all logos/jersey schemes associated with said name.I'm sure they'd allow True North to use these........for the right price.Even then still, there would be a pile of legal rammifications to iron out, which takes time.Once the move is official,True North has to start promoting the team for the upcoming season(ads, etc) so time really wouldn't allow for such proceedings.

I don't feel good about having home ice advantage. Yeah, this one will probably go 7 in OT and my heart will explode.

Looks like that Buffalo "upset" of the Flyers is a lot more likely than I had hoped. Let's see... impotent powerplay, can't get the puck out of their own zone, dump and chase turnovers, and goalie merry-go-round. Sounds like a sure recipe for success.

You got Islander goalie merry go round, except they're not getting hurt.

I thought Leighton played pretty well though.

Hopefully he'll show some more of the stuff he showed in last year's post season....except for that last game/goal. :P

I'm not watching the penguins game, just checking the scores from the bar right now. Is Fleury on goal or is there just an orange cone in his place? Wtf is up with the score of this game?

So the Bruins now lead their series. Go figure. I really thought Montreal was going to steal that game after they tied it up in the 3rd because it looked like the Bruins went flat after they scored their first goal. But you can't ask for more than game 5 going into 2 OT in a tied series Game 7 should be fun,

I don't think you can ask for a better display of goaltending than we saw last night. Price stopped 49, Thomas 44. Habs couldn't hit the side of a barn with a beachball it would seem, but Thomas is a battler. He keeps you guessing.

The hockey gods certainly aren't smiling on the Habs right now. A bounce another way, in either of the last two games, and this series is completely different.

I'd like to say the Habs will win game 6 at home, and then we'd be set for an awesome game 7, but everything favors the Bruins. Not just momentum, but also the fact that the Habs older D-men (Hamrlik, Spacek, Gill, and Sopel) have logged big minutes and it's not as easy for them to recover as the Bruins' young bucks. To ask them to cowboy up in game 6, and then play a game 7 the next day, will be tough.

Go Habs go, but it looks as though the B's may have defeated their demon.

Sadly, you are correct. But those penalties could have been prevented. Now is not the time for stupid shit, when you are facing elim. My hockey rage is in full swing

Flyers OT win. We'll take it. Though they've played way below what is expected from them as far as solid, fundamental hockey, the heart is still there. Hopefully, this will wake 'em the fuck up and take the wind out of Buffalo's sails for game 7.
