So I've been hearing stuff about how Donovan McNabb feels like he's HOF worthy. Obviously, the big hurdle to that is the fact that he's never won the Super Bowl. People will mention Marino and Fouts when that comes up, but I think both those guys were a big step up from McNabb. To get in the HOF without a Super Bowl win requires some serious stats, and McNabb doesn't have 'em. Does anyone think McNabb deserves a spot in Canton?

Fuck no.

I'll admit he was a winner but when it came to the big game he always choked. Not HOF in any way. You let him in and Jim McMahon will want in too.

Exactly what I was thinking. Having a by and large successful career does not translate into an automatic HOF bid. It would cheapen the whole idea of the HOF if they let anyone who was successful in.

That's nice, but neither of those idiots belong in the Hall of Fame.

This move really surprised me. I thought for certain Spencer was never returning to Dallas
On Monday, Spencer signed his one-year franchise tender worth $8.8 million. The Cowboys would likely save money against the salary cap in 2012 if they extended him.

I will be surprised if it happens this season. As bad as the Pro Bowl is, people watch it.

Mcnabb has hall of fame numbers similar to guys who are in without a ring. Having said that, he will never get in.

I'm happy with the Lions pick too. The right CB wasn't there and this filled a big need.

Very happy with the Dallas pick.
Teams needs an upgrade at CB & if the experts say Claiborne is the best out there, then even better.

What the fuck is up with Belichick?
Moving up in the draft....twice?
Trading picks instead of stockpiling?

Normally, Pats fans would be happy he did this but we can't help but worry he's going to trade the two players and the rest of the draft picks for 45 sixth round picks in 2021.

   No shit, a couple of good picks though. I can only guess that with the new rookie salary structure there was less of a chance of getting completely hosed on higher picks that go bust.

Quinton Coples picked by NY Jets #16

I predict this kid will be a HUGE BUST for the Jets & maybe do the least out of any player picked in Round 1.
He does not know how to work hard.
I'm sure he smokes a lot of weed, which leads to his poor work ethic.
This kid only wants to get paid and not work extra hard to get better.

Holmgren is losing his grip on reality. Naming a 28 year old rookie the starting QB before he's even been through his first training camp??? The misery in Berea continues.

Not very successful.

They gave up 18 picks and picked 2 qbs. Somebody tell them teams pick their backups in the 6 and 7th or or pick them off the scrapheap. Fucking Shanahan. Living like it's 1999.

Actually their draft is getting good ratings from everyone. They had a lot of later round picks stockpiled. Speculation on Cousins - QB2 - is that he was a great value pick who could end up netting the Skins a 2nd rounder or two in a year or so ala Matt Shaub.

And this is what success looks like. Maybe one day you'll get to enjoy it-

Here's what success doesn't look like.
