The guy I was playing was starting Rivers, and I was coasting to an easy win before that 3rd quarter. Thanks Pittsburgh D, you assholes.
Ever had one of them weeks where you started ALL THE WRONG PLAYERS AND FUCKING KNEW IT?

I set my line up Saturday night thinking something wasn't right, Sunday morning I said to myself, I know they're all wrong....Let it ride, fuckit.

I think it's funny that Drew Brees name never comes up when people talk about the Chargers or Rivers, I'll admit Rivers is a good QB...Guess I'm just glad to see Brees blooming with the Saints.

My observation on tonight's game, Bert is still a hell of a QB and I'm gloating that I said it before the season started.

I've got a note to Rodgers....Get rid of the fucking ball already! Jesus he had more second thoughts then a Price is Right contestant.

Even more observations, FUCK YOU NFL AND YOUR FUCKING REF'S AND ALL YOUR PUSSY FUCKING FLAGS! Charles Woodson pass interference? Are you fucking kidding? We wont even talk about the flags the Ravens got for breathing in Brady's direction.

Fucking game is so pussified it pisses me off.

Favre had so much time to throw last night he banged a cheerleader and burned a heater on one play. Note to the Packers...you're allowed to rush more than zero.

Nice trade for KC on that Allen kid.
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

So apparently, JaMarcus Russell has been fined repeatedly for being overweight, being late for multiple meetings, and now even missing a meeting.

I saw this guy play enough in college that I couldn't fathom why anyone thought he'd be an NFL QB, but even that is insane. In know things in Oakland are different, but damn, sometimes you just gotta cut bait and try fishing with something else.

On a completely unrelated note, best offseason coaching hire: Greg Williams as the D coordinator for New Orleans.

Geaux Saints.

What does Brett Favre keep coming back for? That washed-up has-been should have retired five years ago and stayed retired. He really sucks now, I mean look at his recent performances... he's a shell of his former self. Why do the announcers have to say so many good things about him?

MNF sure doesn't miss John Fadden.

Gruden and company fellated Favre to the point where I had to turn off the sound in the second quarter. It was nauseating.

Gruden says, "I'm just lucky that I ever got to know him!"

Please.

It's a good thing Favre has never started seasons strong and melted down as the year went on.

Actually, that was the "inside" knock on Russell during his LSU days. The guy didn't understand the offense, but he could get away with doing some really stupid shit because of his arm strength, size, and the really damn good defense that he played with.

I haven't seen much of him with the Raiders but my observations from that last game are that he seems to have a cannon for an arm but no clue on how to actually play his position. He had a shitload of drops in that game, but a lot of them were due to bad passes or just him throwing the ball too damn hard. He's zipping it in there like a Nolan Ryan fastball on a 3 yard screen and wondering why his recievers can't reel it in. He seems to have no idea what "touch" is. It has to be tough for his recievers to develop any kind of rythym.

Just like you said, dude has a fucking cannon, no touch and no clue.

Firstly his mechanics are off, no fluid motion whatsoever, his release is different each time and most of them are an early release causing him to over throw everything.

Secondly, he's playing like a rookie or simply mentally incapable.

He's still playing like he's programed there is no flow to his game, he'll drop back in the pocket and can't make a decision so his training pushes him to start working down the check list. His only hope is that a WR is WIDE open when he checks down other wise he'll get confused and make shit throws or panic.

Dude don't play with any fire or natural rhythm. He will never make it or he needs a lot more time to develop, I said it his first year that he's going to need 2 or 3 years on the bench or he will fail badly. I'd bet money we seem him in the CFL before long.

If/when Rogers O-line shows up, as well as him figuring out when to ditch the ball, he'll be a force. That is if he doesn't become a pile of flesh colored jelly by the end of the season due to his high sack rate.

And by the end of this season, Favre will be more hated on than then entire squad of the New England Patriots.

And food for though: What are the odds of Tebow going to The Raiders being that BabyPhat Russell is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine, Ben Wallace and a Snuggie.

Rogers has a great arm. I agree that dude could be an elite type QB if he doesn't get gun shy ala David Carr from getting pancaked so much. It would serve Al Davis right drafting Tebow. I think that dude is going to tank as a pro. The money guy will be on Bradford IMO. I think Favre will be just fine as long as he keeps playing well. The Vikings are probably going to the Superbowl unless he blows it for them. If he does his typical (the past few years anyway) late season decline while ESPN is still incessantly blowing him, yeah, he'll be more hated than he is already. That said, most people don't hate on Favre for what he's done as a player. It's because he acted like a douchebag on his way out the door in Greenbay and because they get sick of listening to all the sports show honks sucking his dick.

Quick go and make an appreciation thread for Brady! And while you're at it go back several years and change at least 100 posts in the name of Brady.
Make it a fair argument at least.

Do fan boys not hear what comes out of their mouth? It's like the fucker is in total denial over his man love. It always amazes me how foolish fans can be.

In other news, anyone watch the Sanchez dive? I've heard it's the second one he's got this year. Fucking protected QB's if this was the National League he would have to answer by stepping up to the plate...Wait, that's baseball pussy and get away with it actions.

Crabtree finally signs with the 49ers
Braylon Edwards to the Jets.

Funny how the 49ers file tampering charges against the JETS then two weeks later Crabtree signs and the Jets nab Braylon on the same day.

Just interesting is all.

Also hilarious is how, because I don't think Favre is the best ever, somehow that makes me a hater.

Apparently I am irrational.

I don't think a single person here has questioned his physical abilities. I have questioned his decision making.

6 times he's thrown more than 20 interceptions, including a disgusting 29 in one season.

11 times he's averaged at least 1 int per game.

6 ints in one GAME, a playoff game no less.

That's poor decision making. Now, seeing how he plays a position where cerebral ability is far more important than physical ability, that's pretty important.

For those reasons alone, he cannot be considered the best ever. The best ever at something should NOT have such poor performances. And it's not like these performances were at the tail end of his career - some of those horrible seasons were in his prime.

The most important position on the field requires a great decision maker. Outside of Madden, and whoever his coach is at the time he's in front of a camera, nobody considers him the best decision maker in the game.

Rush Limbaugh bids to buy the RAMS!

That's such a joke it don't even warrant a witty comment other then a laughing emoticon.

Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday he is teaming up with St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts in a bid to buy the Rams, owners of the NFL’s longest losing streak at 14 and just 5-31 since 2007.

In a statement, Limbaugh declined to discuss details, citing a confidentiality agreement with Goldman Sachs, the investment firm hired by the family of former Rams owner Georgia Frontiere to review assets of her estate, including the NFL team.

Limbaugh also declined to discuss other partners that might be involved in the bid, but said he and Checketts would operate the team.

I was discussing this one with my Dad over a beer the other night. He said, "Guess this means the Rams won't have a black QB any time soon." I LOL'd.

I think Babyphat Russell might outbust Ryan Leaf. He just needs a meltdown whilst eating a bucket of chicken.
