Oh yeah, the Vikes are right where I'd thought they'd be. Check out my prediction thread you were afraid of.
I was right. It was possible for the Colts to keep Peyton and draft Luck. Very possible. They just chose to go in a different direction. So, you were wrong... again.

I'll ask again, do you want to trade records?

I never said Luck would get 50 million. I said no team would ever carry both those salaries. Guess What? they didn't.

You were wrong. Again. Go find this 50 million dollar quote you just made up.

Too bad, fatty. The Colts will always be a better franchise than the lowly Vikings.

Why couldn't any team carry both salaries? Luck's salary cap hit is only about $4 million dollars this year. Do you mean to tell me the Colts couldn't afford an extra $4 million salary????

WRONG. The real reason they let go of Peyton, which is obvious to anyone with a brain, is that the Colts decided to start over and do a full rebuild. It had nothing to do with not affording or not wanting to pay anyone's salary. Which means you were, once again, WRONG.

i don't know what they can afford. I don't know anything about the Colts and their money. I did however tell you that no team will wrap that much money up the qb position that only one guy can play, and you told me (all of us) that we were stupid. Now, since you were wrong, are you stupid?

Please answer the question and quit beating around the bush. thanks in advance. And please find this "50 million dollar" quote.

the difference between P13 & the rest of the population is we can admit

Machado, I wouldn't say that was wrong as much as a slip of the tongue. I remember Bob Irsay when i was a kid. He is more well known to me than Jim.

But hell, i'll just say i was wrong, and at least i didn't say this:

You're right, I did say that, as I've stated numerous times over the past few months. But keep on posting that statement if it makes you feel any better about the state of the Vikings franchise in 2012.

HOW BOUT THEM COLTS!

6-3. Most people on this board thought we would not have 6 wins all year, much less after 9 games. What this team has done is nothing short of spectacular. Jim Irsay has now solidified himself as the best owner in football with the way he has handled the past year. He picked a GM in Ryan Grigson, who has already proven himself and is going to be a top exec in the league for years and years to come. Luck has already locked up Rookie of the Year honors and he's getting even better every week. It scares me to think how good this team is going to be in 2-3 years. But forget that, we are contenders NOW! This is already a special season for a lot of reasons, one of the best I've ever experienced as a fan. To think of how far we've come in one year is simply amazing.

COLTSTRONG!

Don't get too far ahead of yourself in any of these predictions as they still have 7 games to go w/ two of them being against Houston! KC & Buffalo shouldn't be too much of a problem! It should be interesting! I'll give the Colts credit as they've done better than expected and Andrew Luck is looking really good as of late!!!
Believe me, I'm not getting ahead of myself. The playoffs are by no means a given at this point. There are some winnable games as well as some tough games left on the schedule. The team knows exactly what they have to do, which is take each game one by one, and not look too far ahead. Right now they just have to be focused on going to New England and taking care of business up there next week.

I do think NE is overrated. Their defense is still not that good and their offense does not scare me either. The Colts have ten days to rest up, get healthy, and get ready for that game. It's gonna be a tough game, but definitely winnable IMO.

Is P13 bi-polar? Some days he comes off intelligent and cool and then there are the days like today, words can't describe!

Since he doesn't seem to think the Lions are one of those teams that 'might' be tough to beat for the Colts I am willing to bet him.

If the Lions win: He doesn't say a word about the Colts or Manning or anything pertaining to the Colts until the regular season is over.

If the Colts win: I'm open?

Where did I say anything about the Lions, or that they wouldn't be tough to beat??? I never said that at all. The Lions are playing pretty well right now, so I do not think that going to Ford Field and playing the Lions is going to be easy. It will be a challenge. And no, I do not accept your bet.
