Oh fuck off you insufferable pussy. You know damn well they should've been bounced by both Montreal and Tampa. They had no business being in the finals.
That being said the Vancouver fan base is disgraceful. You know your city is full of shitheads when Boston fans don't come off looking like the assholes they normally do. I was shocked there were no riots in Boston.
I'm also very impressed with the amount of friends I have who are Bruins fans. I didn't know most of them liked hockey until yesterday...

They had business being in the finals. Because they were in the finals. If we weren't supposed to be in the finals, we wouldn't be. If you win a game, you win.
Congrats to the Bruins. I don't like them, but they won. Tough shit, Vancouver. Thomas won this for them, just as Luongo lost it for them. I'm a Canadian and I can vouch for the fact that everyone I know is scorning and ashamed of those idiots last nite. I'm a Flyers fan and nothing like this happened last year after the Hawks won the Cup. It's disillusioning. Don't let the rioters ruin an otherwise great season and run. They're not fans of hockey and they're certainly not fans of the City of Vancouver. What a shame.

Is this getting through to you at all?
They got outplayed by Montreal in the first round. They got outplayed by Tampa in the Conference Finals. They should've been playing golf for two months now, not bringing the Stanley Cup back to Chowdertown.
I don't think I've seen a more undeserving team win a championship in their respective sport than the 2011 Bruins.

So next year Presidents Cup should = Stanley Cup. Got it.
Vancouver choked away a 3-0 series lead against Chicago and would have lost game 7 if not for a cheap shit goal on a giveaway in overtime.I guess they shouldn't have been in the finals either huh?

You know it is bad when the Flyers' fans look mature.
This was in the Boston Herald today. B's fans aren't surprised. We saw how fast the fans turned on Luongo after game 4, so the fact that they can turn on each other this fast is pretty amusing, but again, not surprising.

Nope. I was banking on San Jose representing the west in the Stanley Cup.

People living in Vancouver wouldn't do that to their own city. These losers weren't from here and treated Vancouver as though they were trashing some strangers house at a party
I'm sure a segment of the rioters were idiots that did this to their own city, but regardless, these were definitely not Canucks fans. No way in hell should there have been 100,000 people downtown watching the game outside to begin with.
Dude, vancouver is now known as the city with sore losers that riot and a hockey team and their fans of million excuses why their team and fans aren't responisble for anything that happens to them.
Its the refs, its the ice, its the dirty and cheap hits, its the travel, its a conspiracy, it the NHL, its outsiders, its not the real fans, its a full moon, its just a few hooligans....yadda, yadda, yadda. Stop your crying. You lost to a better team. Your over paid goalie wasn't as good as our working stiff. Your team's lead scorers got shut down , your team talked the talk and shot their mouths off and just couldn't back it up. Your team brought a lower level of sportsmanship to the game that was proven with "The Bite", and the Bruins got down into the mud with ya, and beat the Canucks at their own dirty game. Deal with it. Go lick your self-inflicted wounds and get over it.
Focus on the positive people. So just how elated are you Bruins fans?
I'm a Habs fan, so I can't be "happy", but the Bruins are deserving champs. They've drafted, traded, and signed free agents really well since Chiarelli took over. They have skill/speed, size/toughness, a great goalie, and are well coached (like him or not). They are a team in the truest sense of the word.
After the Pacioretty thing it was hard for me to see Chara so elated, but Thomas, Bergeron, Recchi, Julien are more than deserving - among others. I'm happy cities like Chicago and Boston, and their fans, are getting their due. I'm happy my long suffering buddy Sam is driving from Montreal to Boston to take his only son (who was born a Bruins fan and is now 11) to the parade on Saturday. I'm even proud my Habs gave the Bruins their toughest series and if they can only add some Lucic/Horton/Marchand like toughness, will be right there with the B's.
Look Vancouver did the same thing in 1994 when the Rangers beat them. They rioted then. Classless city. Can't wait till the Canucks come to town next season with all their thugs, I mean fans. Is this what Canada is like?

Hey,I was cheering for Boston all along but it's not fair to tar all Vancouverites with the same brush. Those bastards were nothing but anarchists looking for any excuse to fuck things up.This is what real Canadians are like..

Maybe he can go back and give us who he thinks should've won every year of all 4 major sports. that should be entertaining. Even though it doesn't matter who should've won, only who did win.

No
I was downtown and there were a few who were causing trouble. And most who were causing trouble were not in Canucks gear. Sure a few were but most weren't. A lot of these kids who did riot were probably going to riot no matter what and they used this as an excuse. Once the mob mentality took over fueled with alcohol then it went mental.
A lot of people who were around the riots were just taking photos and videos. My friend took over a 100 photos and a couple of videos. If I wasn't with the girl then I would probably would have done the same for the curiosity factor. I walked from Granville Street to Waterfront and didn't see anything except one girl puking at the station. The vast majority of fans were already on their way to the skytrains. Some stayed to riot and some got trapped and some were just curious to see what was going on.
Today a bunch of Canucks fan went to clean the city. Of course this won't be covered at all. Certainly not as much as the riots but there are genuine hockey fans here who don't condone this violence. It was a minority who have made a bad name for Vancouver and true hockey fans here.
Basically what i'm saying is its a few idiots who caused the problems and most of the city and fans are embarrassed by their actions. Its what happened in 94 and with GNR in 2002 I believe. And yeah it seems Vancouver does love to riot - but its only a few causing the problems.

On this board?
Because a lot of people outside of Vancouver were cheering for Vancouver. 77% of Canada for example were.
