Re: NFL 2012 Thread
Redskins at Dallas this Thurs:
Who you got and why?
Dallas will probably be without D. Murray again(sprained foot) and probably
their tackle, T. Smith(bad ankle) in this game.
2 players they sorely need on the field in order to help that lagging running
game and for pass protection.
Throw out the records when these 2 teams meet because of their long
rivalry.
Anything can happen during this game, but if Dallas wants to save their season and keep a playoff hope alive, they will play a much better game on offense on Thurs and get the victory.

Levy, do you just make shit up to distract yourself from reality? Because here's the reality. Now that the dust has settled, the Colts are 6-4 and own the 5th seed in the AFC, good enough for a playoff berth. The Skins are 4-6, with no chance of making the playoffs, and an owner and coach that you admit are pathetic.![]()

I do remember saying Pierre Garcon was a good pickup. It is possible, one day, that may be true. Just like it's way too soon to call Andrew Leaf a bust just because he threw as many INTs yesterday as Rg3 has in his whole career, it's clearly too soon to say Garcon was not a good pickup. Maybe he'll get healthy and live up to expectations.
So, now that I've answered TWO of your stupid rhetorical questions, how about you answer a couple of mine? Pick any two:
Remember when you said Peyton Manning would not be released by the COlts, ever?

Remember when you said we need to "wait a year" to evaluate RG3, and then you declared Andrew Leaf a "future MVP and Hall of Famer" after 2 games?
Remember when you welched on your Super Bowl bet because you are a spineless douchebag?
Remember when you said the Colts would win games with Kerry Collins as starter?

Levy, I'm happy for you. If one game can make a miserable Redskins fan happy, that's great. It can't be easy enduring miserable season after miserable season for decades on end.Crazy Levi wrote:The aftermath of the Patriots FRANCHISE RECORD beat down of the hapless Colts, and Andrew Leaf's Todd-Marinovich like performance is absolutely awesome.
It's brought back the E(xcuses)13 we all know and love. Seriously...the past 24 hours have been a fucking greatest hits from Gregggg!
We've got
-making shit up. Complete fabrication of things others have said and done.
-calling everybody else a troll, at the exact same time he is trolling.
-Excuses, excuses, excuses. "I'm not making excuses, but here's why I don't really give the Patriots credit" for their HISTORIC beat-down, a humiliating defeat that's as brutal as any NFL team has suffered this year
-Posting Hack and Homer articles to back up his retarded opinions, as if that's gonna suddenly make us realize that 59-24 isn't as bad as it looks.
-"Hoss" and "Son"
-Bringing up shit from 5 seasons ago, as if that's somehow relevant to the humiliation suffered by Colts nation yesterday
-And, my personal favorite E(xcuses)13 gambit - "The Question."
You guys know this one, where he asks you some stupid "how long have you been beating your wife" type question that nobody is going to answer, and makes 5 straight posts where he said "Just answer the question! It's a simple question, why won't you answer it!"
Yes, this has it all - all the E(xcuses)13 greatest hits in one tidy place! It's like a Poison setlist!
If I'm leaving any out, please add them. Surely there's something I missed.

Levy, you are really asking for it. I've been pretty low key during this magnificent Colts season. After all our big wins, I haven't felt the need to gloat much. But that will all change now. For the next decade plus, while the Redskins continue to be miserable as usual, and the Colts continue on to greatness, I'm going to rub it in to no end. You will NEVER hear the end of it. You'll be forced to ignore this place permanently. And when you ask yourself why, you'll only be able to blame yourself.
When Roger Griffith II starts actually throwing the ball more and people realize he's a bust, you will NEVER hear the end of it.

The INDIANAPOLIS COLTS have won one Lombardi trophy.
But this is just typical P13 trolling. Why are we discussing this?
I'm still trying to figure out why you think a QB who just threw TWO pick 6s in one game, and was responsible for 4 turnovers in the first big test of his career is worthy of being part of the MVP discussion.
Your reply?

Really, E(xcuses)13, I understand why you wouldn't want to talk about Ryan Leaf's abysmal performance yesterday, going completely tits up in the first real test of his career, but THIS is what you want to hang your hat on?!
Again, the INDIANAPOLIS COLTS have won a single Lombardi Trophy.
The BALTIMORE COLTS also won one.
You live in Baltimore? I know you keep homes in Indanoplace as well as CHicago, but who knew you had a summer home in Charm City?
But hey, that's great. So let's say the Colts organization has two Lombardi Trophies.
GREAT!

Ok, now that we have established that three is more than two, please tell me how a QB who just had one of the worst performances any QB has had this season can hope to compete with RG3 for rookie of the year, much less MVP?
Your reply?

I can't answer your question, because your assumption that that was one of the worst QB performances is invalid. That would be wrong, and we'd be proceeding from a false assumption. The Bengals look to get back in the playoff hunt but I wouldn't be too concerned. The Steelers can still get things done with their 2nd or 3rd string QBs. That's not a knock on Big Ben, it's a compliment to the organization. Less than ten sub .500 seasons since 1970. They get things done when they have to. When the Bengals play contenders when it counts, they melt.bane wrote:We interrupt your regularly scheduled program for these announcements:

Holmgren is a ghost BUT he and Heckert have actually infused this team with a solid young nucleus. Now, the billionaire owner needs to instill a coach that can win with that team stat. Not sure Weeden is the QB though. May be drafting a QB again and signing a veteran back up AGAIN.bane wrote:The Browns have lost a lot of really close games. Phew..............that was close.
I have not seen the Browns all season. How are they so awful in the standings?
There defense is very, very good and the front 4 today was blowing up
the depleted Dallas O-Line just about all game.
Dallas had no business winning the game.
They came out flat. I think Dallas underestimated the Browns and how physical that team plays.
After watching this game, I still don't understand how the Browns have such a poor record this season.
Pittsburgh, loathe as I am to say it, never stay down for long. Look at their record since 1970. Always in the hunt. I've learned to accept it. Baltimore is fizzling though. Cincy, have only made the playoffs in consecutive seasons once in their entire history. With Mike Brown in charge I don't think that will change.

Do You actually think Luck wouldn't love to be able to have the kind of day Griffin had Yesrerday and Alex smith had last month? He might for once not have to keep his entire arm submerged into ice after chucking it 50 fucking times. I mean thats not really so bad when he completes 30-40 passes, but You see the results when he's barely over 50%, QB's dread days like that because more often than not the go along with a big L. I'm not trying to be too hard on Luck, QB's like that are fun to watch(think, Moon, Marino, Brees) but only one of those listed has a ring. Trust Me Luck wants a great RB behind him to take the pressure off and keep the defense guessing, If he dosent get that odds are he'll pile up big numbers with nothing to show for it.When Roger Griffith II starts actually throwing the ball more and people realize he's a bust, you will NEVER hear the end of it.
