Neither of those guys is going to win MVP. Manning, Brady, Ryan, Rodgers and even Brees are in line ahead of either of them. I can think of a few non QBs that would win it before either of them too.

I doubt it either but RG3 out of the 2 as of right now has more business being mentioned at all. people tend to get a little over dramatic after a couple big games. I just found it funny given P13 claims about Luck being in the MVP mix then all of the sudden RG3 pretty much leap frogs his ass as the better rookie QB.

The Saints may make the playoffs.

The Bears are gay.

Fuck Greg Jennings for screwing over my fantasy team for seven weeks, having surgery resulting in me dropping him like a herion habit then miraculously recovering resulting in someone else picking him up before I could notice. I hope he dies.

As much as I hate the Bears, Neversurrender's constant bashing of the Lions is making me start to hate the Visqueens more.

Saints are gonna take Seattles 'place' in the playoff's

This Rookie MVP argument between Levi and P13 needs its own thread.

Go Kaepernick, lets see how much you learned from watching a truely adequate QB for two years.

I'm going with trolling. If RG3 played for Indy he'd be blowing him just as much as he gushes over Luck.

How does RG3 deserve to be mentioned more? His team has a losing record. There has never been an MVP that had a losing record. Luck has his team 2 games over .500 and in the playoffs right now. That's an MVP. But it is a pointless argument because neither player is going to win it.

I also find it hilarious that anyone could think RG3 has more "poise" than Luck. Luck already has FOUR game winning drives. That's right, four. Talk about poise. RG3 has just one.

And I am not the only one who mentioned Luck as an MVP candidate. In fact, he's been mentioned more than RG3. Take a look at this article from last week:

http://www.stampedeblue.com/2012/11/16/ ... ue-mvp-nfl
RG3 does have a better running game, which s why he's not chucking it 50 times a game like Luck, and because he dosent throw as much his percentage is high and he throws few INT's. His team overall is not as good as indy's. lets be real though it's like not like the colts have that much better of a record than Was, they're not exactly in the same league as Tex or Atl.

Yeah and I'm not counting Indy nutswingers as experts who put luck in the MVP convo, I'm talking about former players and anylists on ESPN, They werent saying He was their pick but they did say should He keep doing what hes doing he should be in the mix. No mention of luck at all. I believe the guys they mentioned were Manning, Brady, Peterson, Ryan and Griffin.

edited to add I read the article, written last week and they didn't say exactly when Eddie george tweeted that, Ok one very dumb ex player who would somehow have Luck ahead of guys like tom brady and Adrian Peterson, Eddie obviously took alot of vicious shots to the head .
So anyone who says Luck is better than RG3 is dumb and took too many hits to the head? Eddie George is a Hall of Fame candidate and played the game for a long time. Furthermore, he played for the Titans, rivals of the Colts, so he has no reason to lie or favor the Colts in any way. Sounds like sour grapes on your part.

How are we feeling about Giants Packers tomorrow?

Naturally, I'm hoping for a Packers victory. Haven't seen them play much this season and have no idea what to expect.

As of right now, Yeah I'd say anyone who thinks Luck has had a better season to this point is stupid as hell, look at the all around stats RG3 has clearly been better. that being said Luck can roll off 3 great games while RG3 has 3 straight bad games and We'll be back to where we were a few weeks ago when luck finally outperformed Griffin. I have no clue when George tweeted that, if it was within the last week, I'd say he's dumb as fuck, if it was when Luck was on fire, then no problem with it. No sour grapes on my part not a fan of either team, they've both played great and had bad streaks, but if the season ended today RG3 is your rookie of the year whether the skins have a winning record or not.

Yes, please!!!

Giants lose and redskins are playing for First place next week.

What's going on with Luck today? He's throwing welll below his normally atrocious 55 percent...I think he's at 42 percent right now.

He's still got time to chuck another couple of INTs though.

Cutler back in a big way today? You gotta be proud of your boys, powering through ditka's mini-stroke to pile up points on the hapless Vikes.

bearstrong!!!

Sorry surrender, looks like that super bowl drought aint gonna end this season.

Luck wasn't very sharp today. Buffalo's offense may be decent, but their defense sucks. 20-37 with a TD, an INT, and the offense only putting up 13 points on that D isn't very impressive. Luck has 13 TDs vs 13 INTs, and is averaging right around 300 yds/game. He's still having a good rookie season, and will probably have a very good career, but it's just a little early for the Canton induction.

Right now Griffin would be RoTY. 16 TDs vs 4 INTs, and a QBR roughly 25 points higher than Luck. While I'm not big on QBR as a stand-alone stat, it is a decent reference when combined with other stats. One stat that jumps out for Griffin is that for a mobile guy with good speed, he is still passing to running about 4-1. He's not taking a glance down field and taking off, he's going through his reads, using his mobility to extend the play, and running when there is nothing else there. His style is being compared to the wrong Young: His approach is more early 90's Steve Young than Vince Young.

Another great game, another win, another step toward getting into the playoffs and making history! Luck was steady and poised, guiding us toward another win on his back. With almost 250 passing yards, Luck now has 3,205 yards on the season, the most in nfl history by a rookie quarterback in his first 11 games. MOST IN HISTORY! The records keep coming for this kid. This was a strong defensive performance as well, limiting a good Buffalo offense to only 13 points. This team is proving everyone wrong, one game at a time.

Luck now has over 700 yards passing more than RLeaf3, and most importantly, two more wins.

WE ARE COLTSTRONG!!!!!

Along with 3 less TDs and 9 more INTs than Griffin. Pure yardage all by itself is meaningless if too many drives are ending in interceptions. W's & L's can be somewhat misleading as a QB doesn't play defense or special teams. For example, if a team was losing a lot of 35-31 games it's hard to pin it on the QB, same way a QB shouldn't get too much credit for a lot of 10-7 victories. TDs to INTs and PPG are better ways to judge a QB. Griffin has a TD to INT ratio 4 times better than Luck is putting up 6 points a game more than Luck. Things can change over the next 5 games, but as of today Griffin is outperforming Luck.

The WORLD disagrees with you:

http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/poll/co ... id/3340725

Luck has four game winning drives already. FOUR. RGLeaf has 1. He doesn't have a great running game to rely on, like RL3 does. He doesn't have a great defense. This 7-4 record is largely thanks to Luck, and anybody with any kind of knowledge at all would agree with that. Just look at his # of attempts. The games are on his shoulders, and our record speaks for his performance.
