The WWE is finally working with us now, even though they usually don't let their talent do "Internet shows" maybe it is because we used to be on Broadcast Radio. Anyway, they comped us third row, floor on the camera side for Armageddon so I'll be on a lot I hope.

Yea IMO it is one of the best wrestling DVDs ever produced. It's well worth the 8 bucks, if for nothing else, a good trip down memory lane.

I think the next year or so will be a very telling time for TNA, they're VERY close to losing Christian, if he hasn't signed with the WWE already. Now, there's talk of Angle leaving. Wouldn't surprise me if the Dudleys jump ship as well.
Has there been any reasons given as to why Angle would want to leave? I mean he has it made in TNA as he is basically the equivalent to HHH there. He has so much strok that they actually refer to him as the leader of the Main Event Mafia, event hough Sting is the World Champion!

Must be one of those big fish, little pond things. I could see Angle wanting back in WWE. I think his ego needs it.

Angle has been saying good things about Vince & Triple H again and it seems like he's trying to suck up to them. I guess he's figured out that there is nothing in TNA left for him. I mean what else could he possibly do there? He's already won the title what... 3 or 4 times now?

Another one of those, "I'll believe it when I see it" type deals.

Angle has seemed to cool off on his "Vince Is Evil" routine lately, and the last time Vince made any comments on Angle they were very positive.

Michaels and Taker both recently asked for and received lighter schedules. Edge asked for and got time off despite being the top (only?) drawing heel on his brand. I don't see how Angle would be treated any differently. The guy can still make money for himself and for WWE, so IF he wanted to go back, I'm positive it would happen. Plus, there still a huge potential payday out there for an Angle vs. Snitsky match.

That said, this story still sounds like NEWZ to me. In the past 2 or 3 months we've had WWE interested in AJ, Rhyno, and now Angle as well as Christian, the Dudleys, and Joe strongly considering going to WWE.

For what it's worth, I do think WWE wants to start bringing in more names, as when guys get injured or request time off... the split house shows are suffering tremendously for name recognition. They've lost some significant name power over the last few years for one reason or another (Benoit, Eddie, Austin, Foley, Booker, Angle, RVD, etc.) Throwing a few more names into the mix would certainly help out in that regard.

Next week's WWE Armageddon PPV on December 14 in Albany, NY has sold around 9,000 tickets and is said to be doing fine, but it doesn't appear the show will be selling out.

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Someone might wanna tell Meltzer it is in Buffalo,NY. I think we will have a good crowd. A lotta Canadians coming and they don't sit on their hands.

Angle's going back to the WWE? I thought he was going to try MMA?!?!?

As for lighter schedules, WWE it going to tape two Smackdowns at a time at least through Wrestlemania as an experiment. That could cut their production costs by over 15 million bucks annually and could give some people who want lighter schedules more time off. Although that schedule will cut into the checks a bit... especially on some of the lower card talent.

Been setting my DVR since my cable provider added ESPN Classic a couplde weeks ago. Great watching some decent wrestling again. Takes me back to my youth watching that stuff. But seems all new again since it has been so long.

Just started watching the TNA ppv. So far from what I know Eric Young won the X Division title. Now it is Hemme Vs. Kong.

Watching it right now... I'm sure it's going to pick up, but this has been... AWFUL! Everyone seems to be stumbling over their lines and the bits, skits, and video packages are way too long for a show that you are charging people money for. The matches have been... well... not very good. Lot of spot monkeying, little selling, even less story telling in the ring.

I realize this is pretty much a throw away PPV and all, but good god...

And did Spiderman just do a run in?

Suicide... That's what I feel like committing watching this so far.

Angle/Rhino was good, but lacked any drama as the outcome was written in stone with the stupid stipulation.

And has Don West channeled the legacy of Mike Adamle. It's RHINO... not THE RHINO.

Good to see Al Snow, although I think the "Mick Foley has made a fortune at the expense of Al Snow" line is a bit much.

Jesus Fucking Christ. Someone cut Don West's fucking mic. Holy Shit. I know the guy sucks and all, and that's not his fault, but he's really upping the ante tonight. Mike Tenay isn't being his usual annoying self tonight which is maybe why Don West seems extra awful.

Main Event is good so far... but holy fuck balls has the rest of this show sucked.

Problem was, is they basically gave the whole PPV away with the stips. There was no need to order it because they basically went out of there way to let it be known that absolutely NOTHING of circumstance was going to happen.

The two big matches on the card: Angle vs. Rhino (Angle loses he gets fired / he wins he gets to wrestle Jarrett) Hmm... let me think what's gonna happen there.

MEM vs. Frontline (AJ wins the belt if Frontline wins) Hmmm. what's the perfect way to devalue the title? Have it change hands in an 8-man tag. The payoff to this feud is, and can only be, Styles or Joe winning the belt in a one on one.

So the outcome of the only two matches you could try and sell for this PPV were so obvious going in that even Chris Adams saw them coming.

Even the Feast or Famine is a waste because the whole payoff to the match is given away for free on Impact. In essence, you are asking people to spend money on a match where the payoff to said match will be given away for free!

That would be fine and all if the rest of the card was going to at least have some solid matches. Didn't happen. It would be fine and all if there were some major storylines created, advanced, or ended. Didn't happen. Complete throw away of a PPV. 3 hours where absolutely NOTHING happened. And they wonder why their PPVs don't sell.

This made Survivor Series look like Mania 17...

Avoid at ALL costs! Even if you have the opportunity to watch it for free. Don't. Ask someone for money to watch it instead.

What kind of odds are there that Hall actually shows up?

And what kind of odds are there that if he does actually show up, that he's too ripped to wrestle?

People in Wisconsin love to drink, so I think Hall will show.
And yes, he'll be in no shape to wrestle, but when HAS he been in the last decade or so?

I figure Curryman will be the one to get fired since there's rumblings of them want "Christohpher Daniels" to come back.

As for Al Snow joining the MEM, surely he won't be an actual member. I see Angle beating him down on Impact.
