The point I am making is that there is no way anyone can say the only reason Boston has a 3-2 lead is because of the refs. Now if the Celtics had gone to the line 22 more times than LA and won a couple of games by 2-3 points then there might be some merit to that argument, but the stats clearly show that Boston has not been favored by the refs.

That's what happens when a team decides it doesn't feel like driving to the hoop. If I had to blame one Celtic it would be Rondo. He was hesitant and made poor decisions all night long. But they also got nothing at all from their bench after Perkins went down. Davis played 27 minutes and had no points. They sat back and launched jump shots all night and didn't fight for the rebounds. Pierce was "-26" because he didn't attack. The only positive thing is that Boston's record after getting embarrassed is very good. And the only way to describe that game last night is embarrassment.

Boston has not gotten any help from the refs in this series (those stats have already been posted), and last night had nothing to do with the officiating.

No team should ever get too cocky in a game 7. I've witnessed a game 7 in LA where the owner had already prepped the arena for an LA celebration because everyone said his team couldn't lose. Bill Russell decided differently.

Go take a look at previous series that have gone 6 or 7 games and look and see what a team did after getting blown out. Look specifically at the 80's where Celtic and Laker teams that blew out the other team went on to lose the next game and the series.
