Re: SUPERBOWL XLV
Wasn't the greatest Superbowl I've seen, but at least it got closer at the end and made it worth watching..
Steelers blew it coming out so conservative after being given the opening kickoff.. Packers played a great game and deserved that win.
Now is it just me or did it seem like both teams were having trouble on that turf in Texas Stadium and that may have caused a couple of the injuries? Sucks that so many got hurt in the big game..

I enjoyed the game. Packers rocked; Steelers played well but for the turnovers and had a shot at the end. Nice to see Rodgers win one, I have a lot of respect for him. And Clay Matthews.

As a Steelers fan I'm obviously not thrilled with the outcome, but I've always liked Green Bay. If it had been the Cowboys, I'd be punching kittens right now.
I just saw Roethlisberger at the press conference... he's already shaved his beard off. I guess he figured there wouldn't be a Letterman appearance this time.

Good game. Got me all stressed out, and my team wasn't even playing! I'm very happy for Rodgers, and especially Charles Woodson and Donald Driver. Congrats to the Packers!

Really wasn't a great game, though I did get to dazzle my guests with my favorite piece of Super Bowl trivia - the whole no team has come back from over 10 points down thing.
Not a great game but any time the outcome is still in doubt right up until the end you have to be happy.
I thought the last few Super Bowls were much more exciting. Saints/Indy, Cards/Steelers, Giants Patriots.

If Green Bay would have scored a touchdown instead of a field goal at the end i would have won $1900.

Congrats to the Packers, especially to Rodgers. Not only did he get the Farve monkey off his back, but he's the MVP.

Tom Jackson called it a "metaphorical monkey" in the post-game interview with Rodgers. That sounds like a pretty cool monkey.St_Augustines_Pears wrote:Congrats to the Packers, especially to Rodgers. Not only did he get the Farve monkey off his back, but he's the MVP.

Aikman and Buck, couldn't make the end of the world seem eventful.
90% of the pregame was Steeler slobbering.
Don't care if Nelson got 140 yards receiving, butterfingers should have had 240.
Running game......What running game?
Rodgers is the new Brady, Manning.
It was a good game on the field but the announces, commercials and hype made it out to be a boring contest.

Anyone notice how all the players last night that left the game were all in body casts with nurses and IVs and defibrilators ensuring no one would Cutlerize any of them?

Re: SUPERBOWL XLV
The NFL is going to give the people who lost their seats tickets to next year's game. Or in some cases they are going to offer triple face value(which is probably close to what those people paid for them).
What if those people were fans of one of the two teams playing yesterday and their team doesn't make it back next year? And what about lodging and airfare to make up for what those people spent this year and will have to fork out next year too?
And it now comes out that they knew about the problem at least a week in advance.
What would you do if you were one of the 400 who paid for seats that the NFL knew didn't exist and then traveled to the game?

I'd be pissed if there was travel invovled because they wont comp THAT too. but if I was local and my team isnt in it next year..I sell em point blank. Cash in. They always go for top dollar no matter whos playing.SkyDog112046 wrote:The NFL is going to give the people who lost their seats tickets to next year's game.
